Holiday Inn Auburn, an IHG Hotel

This is a great Holiday Inn. Very friendly staff and nice attached restaurant with many others nearby too. Just bring your own k-cups because they have only 2 flavors and they aren't very good.

The staff here are wonderful to work with. I had to reserve quite a few rooms in a short amount of time, and Lori consistently was pleasant and such a problem solver. Thank you!

Great place to stay at staff is really friendly, the rooms are clean and beds are comfy.

Maria both helped us check in and check out and she was fantastic. Breakfast included the option of an omelette that was cooked for you.

The Holiday Inn in Auburn is a great place to stay if visiting Auburn or on the way to Donner, Truckee, Tahoe, etc... They are very dog friendly and even gave my pup homemade treats when we arrived! The staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is great, rooms are clean, and there's an onsite restaurant. The pool area is also nice. There's a large area outside of the pool with tables, these came in handy for takeout. It's right off of the 80 and Tesla chargers just up the street.

This really was an excellent stay - our only regret was that we only stayed one night here.
The room was super comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with eggs made to order and a delectable set of buffet offerings (the french toast was superb)! The location is perfect, right off the freeway and close to historic Old Town.

What a wonderful staff I encountered today as I was at a notary class. The front desk staff I believe their names were Leah and Matt who were very attentive and helpful in my time of need. Also the conference room I was attending the notary class was very clean and set up nicely with hot coffee and ice water. I would definitely recommend this specific Holiday Inn.

This is a nice hotel with a perfect slant view by highway and convenient location. I was there for a business conference and was pleased with service and cleanliness. Stayed there for 3-4 hours. Entrance was good and so was pool area. Seems like reasonable pricing for layovers and temp guest stay.

So I stay at the hotel for a wedding. Clean ,good size room. Had a fridge and microwave as well ,friendly staff wish i could of stayed longer. I checked out the next day and accidentally left my blazer in my room. I was on the plane back to atl. So I called the staff and told them my I left my blazer there. They were so kind to send it back to me. All I had to do was buy a fed ex label. You guys are the best thanks again!

As a platinum elite member I have seen quite a few Holiday Inn expresses. This location is one of the best I have stayed in in quite some time. Clean, quiet, extremely friendly staff, along with a pretty good location. Max’s restaurant, is definitely their hidden gem, and was quite unexpected. Definitely at the top of my list for next time I am in this area.

Nice and Cozy hotel, has a restaurant called Max's 👌 very tasty Burger and fries, no bun.

Highly recommend this hotel when passing through the area. The staff were very helpful and friendly, Jose was a pleasure to work with and made us feel very welcomed upon our arrival. Entire grounds and the room were spotless, wish we could have stayed longer than our one short night. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

This is a FANTASTIC business! The staff were AMAZING, they were friendly and personable. The rooms were up to date and clean with great(working) amenities. The fitness center had some of the newest, nicest equipment I've had the pleasure to use, including headphones(new in the package) to use with the equipment. All in all, would recommend to anyone for both short and extended plans to stay, great place.

This Holiday inn is getting a very rare five-star review. I may have never given a five-star review for a Holiday inn.

The staff were absolutely fantastic. Check in was a breeze, and the front desk could not have been more helpful. The desk clerk always addresses you when you walk by with a friendly hello.

The room was a bit dated, but very comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Plenty of electrical plugs for charging devices. Never able to get the Wi-Fi to work on my laptop, but it worked on the phone okay. Fortunately, T-Mobile has a good fast 5G signal so I was able to use my own Wi-Fi hotspot.

Very nice swimming pool and hot tub deck with a large outdoor area for picnics and family events.

Location is ultraconvenient for hiking or rafting on the American River. Only about a 10 minute walk to Old Town Auburn. Don't make the mistake I made and walk toward Auburn City Center. That is not Old Town or downtown, it is an ugly strip mall.

Location is also very convenient for interstate 80. Judging from the little note in the room offering complimentary sleep kits, I get the impression some customers might complain about freeway noise. My room, 229, was completely silent.

Best of all, this hotel offered daily housekeeping service even on a 2 night stay. I asked for housekeeping between 12 and 12:30, and they showed up right on time. Unfortunately I wasn't quite ready, so they kindly pushed my housekeeping until 1:00 p.m.

Did I mention, free parking?

If you're up for a weekend to get away from the San Francisco Bay Area, this is the best place to stay.

I was very impressed. During the height of the covid-19 emergency, this hotel was very clean and the staff seemed to take the precautions very seriously.

The room was comfortable. Air conditioner was loud, but it was effective. Nice swimming pool and hot tub.

This place is very clean and well cared for. It's a nice hotel. The breakfast was a real omelet and it was bomb! I reccomend you stay here, also it appeared to be pet friendly which I love that its well cared and allows pets. The concierge service was very nice too! We walked to crooked lane brewery up the road and also enjoyed our selves over all. Nice little getaway!

This location offered me a clean, safe, recently remodeled room after a stressful day of attempting to get over the mountains. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I had my boston terrier with me and he was able to stay as well. The room was beautiful, fresh and clean. The hotel had a lovely restaurant where a full breakfast buffet was offered for just $5.00. Will look forward to stay here again.

I hate sleeping in Hotels to be perfectly honest. I never sleep good. And quite mind-blowing I had one of the best nights of sleep ive ever had. And I was on the first floor. Service was great and a simple phone call had food from a neighboring restaurant at my door in 20 minutes.

We have our chamber luncheons here. It is a nice venue with the perfect amount of space for our group meetings 👌
