Red Lion Inn & Suites Auburn CA

Extremely kind front desk worker when we arrived, and a very beautiful scenery behind the building if you smoke. The room felt nice and cozy, and you can’t hear your neighbors which is a huge plus. The only drawbacks were the floor of the room felt a little dirty and there was no plastic shower curtain in the bathroom, but all in all, a wonderful stay

This is a great location, right by the exit. The hotel is big and rooms are spacious. I like this clean facility and I have staid here several times.

Had a great stay over the weekend for a festival I was working at. Jose the maintenance worker was very accommodating and kept the breakfast area very clean and stocked! Defintley loved that they had brekafast options like waffles sausgage and eggs every day! And a great quiet pool with crystal clear water! Will be back!

They are so nice over there. Always my go to for when people come into town or I need a refuge. The prices have gone up, but that's the same everywhere. They will work with you on late check out or really any needs you have. Super comfortable beds & good vibes all around. Highly reccommend.

The rooms were clean, showers were hot. The entire staff was wonderful. Breakfast was more than needed w/eggs, waffles, sausage, muffins, oatmeal, hot chocolate, coffee etc. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very friendly, room was clean and nice . Minus the curtains which could be worked on . The light shines through easily . Could use a clip to keep them together better. The pool was kept nice but people easily jump the fence . I seen someone in there that was using it and they weren’t even staying there .

Very nice and cozy rooms and amazing staff. Only stayed there for a few hours before resuming my road trip. The complimentary breakfast was good, nothing special to write about but it was definitely not continental which is a plus for some people.

Fantastic service, communications problems aside, the staff are attentive and smart, the ownership is top-notch and the coffee is as good as the ownership.

My family stayed here for 3 weeks following a tough move from our nearby house. We have never had a more comfortable (or inexpensive) long-term stay at any other hotel. Every member of the staff is polite and efficient, every room has a beautiful small-town charm, and most importantly - every bathroom has charcoal soap!

The prices here are low as, and beat out all other places (and even apartments) nearby. The entire first floor seems to be pet friendly, but you wouldn't be able to tell from how clean everything is.

The pool and hot tub are conveniently there for anybody needing to wake up quick or warm their feet. The breakfast is delicious, and the vending machine stock is broad and not too costly.

All in all, I'm staying here every time I return and I recommend you do the same!

The staff is outstanding. The rooms are average but clean. I believe it's the best place in auburn. Thunder valley is the only place that is nicer that I can think of besides that new place off of forest hill exit where the prices are astronomical.

A wonderful experience the only problem I had was the curtains wouldn't shut all the way and when I tried to fix it myself the curtain rod fell down and I was not able to put it up by myself so I put it in the closet and I hope that's okay because when I went to check out there was no one at the counter after waiting about 10 minutes I left my key and left but never called kind of just forgot about it I'm sure they know about it by now though and hope that I'm not responsible for any charges we'll see? I have yet to hear so hopefully everything is fine now it was quite stressful at the time because I had to make shift a replacement which was difficult but I managed other than that it was a wonderful experience like I said

Auburn has a wide variety of overnight accommodations. I have visited the region for years. My recent needs were for a one night stay at Red Lion that was a first visit there for me. Check-in was rapid and professional, a site map provided the necessary directions to the parking area nearest my room. Other amenities also were identified on the map, and in the room were also additional local listings for traveler's needs.

The room was large enough, comfortable, clean, and outfitted with modern furniture, lighting, refrigerator, TV etc. The bed was comfy and my experience was fine.

Great little gem in hills above Sacramento. Didn't want to stay in the nasty truckstop down the hill, and willing to spend the money for a motel...sooo glad we did and a great decision. Absolutely would recommend and stay there again...one thing...all sorts of signage at front desk about not smoking in rooms, but tons of smoke in the hallways in the middle of the night. We were unable to smell the smoke in our room, so it didn't bother us..

Fairly clean ,which is a lot in comparison to other hotels in the area. Staff seem to get their job done. Pool area is open. Other than their breakfast still not being served, this place was great. I won't complain about the price.

This hotel was my savior, from the motel 6. The rooms were fresh and clean. The pool was very refreshing. But, some guests were obviously smoking pot in their rooms and guests were being loud at 11 in the pool when it clearly closed at 10. But other than that my stay was great!

I stayed at this hotel for a week while I was working. The room was spacious and clean, and all the staff I interacted with were very friendly and efficient. Free WiFi it's plenty fast, even for streaming. Most of the outlets in my room were loose so chargers would fall out or not charge properly.

We justed were visiting a friend there the other nite. Enjoyed sitting in the spa and playing in the pool. Pool hours 9am - 10pm clean quiet and pretty atmosphere. The staff was nice and I would definitely recommend for its safety attributes.

Great getaway from Sacramento or yuba no worry about vehicle safety. Or being approached by transit. Good place to go relax and drive around to see sites and shop stores friendly people all over town. Get in touch with relaxing and enjoy the fresh air not to faraway. Lots to enjoy try your hands in high way 49 get out gold pan don't forget to thrift shop come visit support local economy.
