Love love love their food again. We'd stopped coming about 2 years ago. Desserts, amazing. Ny only complaint, since the carpet is gone, it's way too noisy, we could barely hear each other and it wasn't super busy.

Stopped here for breakfast on our way out of Palm Springs, and I think it will have to be a tradition now! The menu has everything yummy diner-loving heart could want, with a solid selection of omelettes, sweet options, eggs and _____ (steak, bacon, corned beef hash, ham, etc), and Jewish deli faves. The eggs scrambled with onions and lox were buttery-delicious. Ordered a pastrami sandwich to go, and enjoyed more deli food later in the day!

We had a great lunch here with friends.
I was happy with their vast menu, including all day breakfast and many vegetarian options.
They have an amazing bakery with tons of desserts and danishes, etc, fresh breads and bagels, and other baked goodies.
Our food came out quickly from the kitchen. We really enjoyed the cabbage soup, the salads, and the sandwiches served in fresh baked bread. My sandwich was so huge that I could barely eat it all.
Service was good and prices were very fair compared to most other similar places in the area.
We will definitely return here again and will recommend it to our friends and to others visiting the area.

Wife and I visited this restaurant over 15 years ago. We didn't remember being here, since that was the last time we were in Palm Springs. As soon as I walked in, I remembered it. Lobby has dessert cases full of decadent treats. When we got our sandwiches, we remembered the entire experience. Deli sandwiches are HUGE and delicious. The Corned Beef, Pastrami on Onion Roll is ... is ... (no words). Beyond amazing. This is without a doubt, absolutely, a must visit in the Coachella Valley, CA.

Fantastic restaurant and the food is delicious. We had the cup of Mish Mash Soup and a hot Ruben made with pastrami and a side of the potato salad (so creamy and tasty).
Will def be back in the future to sample more things as well as get something from the dessert case. Huge selection and the slices of the cake are enormous!!!

What a great deli! The Matzoball Soup was delicious! I love a good potato knish and this place has GINORMOUS ones that could easily be shared. The meats are tender and juicy and generous served on a fresh rye bread with crispy crust. Great bakery for grabbing a nice dessert for later.

Love it. To me, they are as good as Sherman’s but they don’t have the same atmosphere. I prefer Sherman’s for the vibe and the location, but the food here is just as good!

I’ve been eating here for the past decade and I’ve never had a bad meal here. The service is always friendly and great. The only thing it lacks is atmosphere….it’s not bad, but it’s not interesting either. It’s a solid place to have dinner or lunch with friends.

Totally unique menu- don't skip the matzo brei! It was delicious, rivalling my mom's (don't tell her!). Great bakery options, too.

I actually heard about this place from Guy Fieri on his show Diners drive-ins and Dives. And man, it doesn't disappoint. Service was great, and the food had no business being that good from a "deli/bakery." I had the French toast, and wow, u can totally tell that bread was like today fresh. And their hashbrowns were perfect, and they had a nice little bed of "crunch" on top with soft chewy potatoes under the hood. The kids menu is very generous, too, for those of u who have families like myself. It is definitely a local spot but, tourist are welcomed too. If you're into deli diner food and are in the Coachella Valley, then treat yourself to this joint. u won't regret it.

This wonderful place was next door to our wonderful hotel and I’m sad I didn’t find it earlier. Large sandwiches!! With pages and pages of menu items to choose from. I had the beef dip with brisket and it was soooo tender, coleslaw was good too. Not a fan of the fries but that’s a personal preference thing. Service was efficient and quick. $45 for 2 sandwiches, no drinks

Service was outstanding. Food was good :)
I’m not a fan of steak fries so that’s on me - too bland, no seasoning - big chunks of potato strips. The Reuben was delish! The sauerkraut to corn beef portion could’ve use a little help - but the portion was huge… which I guess makes up for the $22 sandwich.

Carrot Cake French toast is to die for. Excellent diner food overall. The people who work here are great and hard workers overall. Support this business if you’re in Palm Springs!

A fantastic, classic Jewish deli in Palm Springs, Manhattan in the Desert was loved by everyone in our party. The portions are quite large, so be aware when your order. I had the mish mash soup and really enjoyed it. It’s not common to find Kreplach (a kind of Jewish dumpling) at a restaurant so that was special. The Pastrami sandwich is also fantastic and a must try. Special shoutout to their apple sauce, which is definitely homemade and tastes like you’re eating the inside of an apple pie. It’s sweet. Really sweet. And for dessert, the plain cheesecake is an absolute must eat! Creamy and not too sweet. Cliff is the best waiter.

Been going there for pass 7 years. They have the best ribs in the desert and carrot cake. Big bang for your buck. Big portions of food. And if it is your birthday, they give you a carrot cake.

First time in Manhattan, though not first time in Palm Springs. We’ve been coming to PS on a regular basis throughout the year, but never tried this place til this trip. Very expansive menu, everything was delicious, service was lovely. My husband had the turkey sandwich (Ortega turkey), which he loved, and I robbed a lot of the super crispy fries off his plate. I substituted the bread on my BLT with latkes for an upcharge. WOW, it was SO delicious!!! Highly recommend doing that! Nice plate of pickles w delicious saurkraut before our order came. Then we got florentines and macaroons (yummmmmy) from the case before we left. Seems very local. We will definitely be coming back and keep this in our restaurant rotation.

Fantastic breakfast or brunch!

The bacon and eggs combo was a delicious choice for just trying this place for the first time. You can tell a lot about a cook based on how they make their eggs; perfect here.
The bacon was super crispy and full of flavor. The house potatoes were the clear winner here; not only very well cooked with bell peppers and onions, these were also seasoned great too. The potatoes were soft on the inside and lightly crispy on the outside. The bagel was toasted and soft and came with really soft cream cheese.

The service here was too notch! The perfect blend of helpful and non-intrusive. Super friendly and fast.

Can't wait to come back for more; so many great options try.
