My experience at Brooks Dental Studio has been exceptional! Everything I could ask for in a provider. Their approach to preventative care and general wellness is something that all practitioners should strive to incorporate. If you care about your health and partnering with your care team this is the place for you. Dr. Jame and the entire staff is incredibly kind and personable making you feel seen not only as a patient but as a person. I love going to the dentist and you will to if you go to Brooks Dental Studio!

I cannot recommend Dr. Jamie Brooks and her team enough! As someone who has always struggled with dental anxiety, finding a dentist who is conscientious, thorough, and caring has been a game-changer for me.

From the moment I stepped into Dr. Brooks' office, her team went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at ease. They understood my fears and took the time to explain every step of the process, ensuring that I was fully informed and comfortable with each procedure.

Dr. Jamie Brooks herself is an exceptional dentist and her practice is bolstered by her entire team's (including the community of specialists she refers patients to) professionalism and warmth. Her attention to detail and thorough approach instilled a sense of confidence in me that I had never experienced before. She genuinely cares about her patients' holistic well-being and takes the time to listen to any concerns or questions they have.

Dr. Jamie and her team deliver an elevated dental experience! My first appointment was unlike anything I've ever encountered with a dentist! Dr. Jamie was kind, understanding, and thorough. I felt an authenticity from her team that is so rare. I have always had anxiety about dental care since I was a child and in only one appt Brooks Dental Studio alleviated all that fear and anxiety! I came to Dr. Jamie from being told by another dentist I would need multiple root canals or multiple extractions. I was told one molar couldn't be saved. Being in my thirties I was devastated to hear I would need a partial. I had a family member ask me to get a second opinion from Dr. Jamie and it is by far the best decision I could have made!!! Dr. Jamie restored 8 of my teeth!!!!!! 8 teeth restored, only 1 root canal, and NO extractions! I will continue to see Dr Jamie for all my dentistry needs!! Between Dr. Jamie, Miriam, the hygienists, and Roan; this is an elite dentistry team that will leave you feeling cared for and supported no matter what dentistry journey you may be on. 10/10 doesn't seem to even come close to how much I love this practice! I'm so happy to provide a 5-star review for Dr. Jamie Brooks. I was looking for a new dentist after neglecting my teeth for a number of years. I also do my research. I choose a dentist not about close proximity or cost but because I'm looking for quality care and dental excellence. Dr. Jamie Brooks met all of my criteria and more. I scheduled an Initial appointment after letting them know that it had been 5+ years since I'd had a cleaning (COVID etc.-the longest I'ved ever gone without such care) and gave them some information about myself and my concerns. A few days later, I received a call from Dr. Jamie herself offering me an appointment time (that had been cancelled by another patient) so they could see me more quickly. I was so grateful and impressed that she would take the time herself to reach out. And, I was not disappointed. They got me in within a few days time, and I had a long and very thorough hygiene appointment where they started taking records and getting to know my dental/health history. Then, the next day I went back for my initial intake appointment where additional records were taken. Over those 4 total hours, Dr. Jamie and her team took extensive notes about my dental and physical health, asked questions, and took images and measurements. Dr. Jamie's and her team's approach is definitely holistic. They offered information, made recommendations about dental hygiene and general health care that could make a difference in my ongoing health. At all times, they were empathetic, gentle (because I'm very anxious during dental treatments), and thorough without being intrusive or shaming. They heard me and my concerns and really paid attention. I also loved Dr. Jamie's dental "studio" with its artistic, non-clinical aesthetics, style, and artwork. I'm relocating to Eastern Washington soon and will be coming back quarterly to stay in treatment with Dr. Jamie and her team. It's worth the travel and the time for me to have excellent care with a terrific dentist and caring staff. I'm so grateful to be in their care!

I have been a patient of Brooks Dental for approximately ten years. When I began with Dr. Jamie, I had to have extensive dental work that involved coordination of care with other specialists. Dr. Jamie and her team navigated the treatment perfectly. I was, and still am, thrilled with the results. Dr. Jamie also takes care of my spouse and our two children, all of whom have had significant dental work that, again, has involved significant time and effort coordinating treatment and appointments with other specialists. I am constantly impressed by Dr. Jamie's dedication to providing outstanding care to me and my family. She is aware dental work can cause anxiety. Dr. Jamie and her staff do everything possible to make sure you are comfortable through the dental procedures. Dr. Jamie and her team are top-notch. In addition to Dr. Jamie's quality care, she is aware of the expense involved in providing this care. Her office staff are able to help you navigate your dental benefits so you are aware of what your insurance will cover versus what you will be responsible for. I highly recommend Brooks Dental.

Doctor Jamie Brooks and her team do an outstanding job. Their approach to overall heath as it definitely affects oral health is wonderful to experience. I feel like more than just another appointment when I'm at Brooks Dental Studio. Doctor Brooks and her team are also super active in the community and powerfully pro-Tacoma. When one of my old fillings broke last year, they fit me in quickly and fixed my issue fast so I wasn't in pain any longer. Jamie always takes time to fully explain whats needed and why. The office is welcoming and comfortable. I love the tea by local company Mad Hat Tea that's offered while you wait.

Dr. Jamie and her team are incredibly devoted to their patients and community. As a patient, I feel well cared for and comfortable in a beautiful and warm environment. Dr. Jamie keeps very current with best practices, sharing her knowledge and expertise with patients. As an artist, I have had the privilege of exhibiting my work in the office as well as enjoying the work of other local artists during treatment. I have never loved going to the dentist, but Brooks Dental makes the experience darn close to enjoyable.

Brooks Dental Studio is amazing! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Jamie is very passionate about dentistry and doing what is right for each patient. They make the experience personable and as much fun as you can have at a dental visit. The walls are covered in local art and it is very obvious they support the local community.

Brooks Dental Studio is an amazing office. Not only is the care extremely high, but the office in itself is an experience. Dr. Jamie and her staff helped me get over any dental apprehensions. Dr. Jamie is passionate about continuing education, technology, the community, and the environment. The studio hosts local artwork which makes the entire dental experience one of a kind.

If you're looking for a dentist in the South Sound area, this is THE place to go. Jamie and her team are the absolute best! The quality of care and attention to patients here is unmatched. Jamie pays personal attention to the health and well-being of every single patient, and you can tell she treats her team well also. You don't feel like you're one of the many other people they need to get in and out of the chair that day -- they actually take time to focus on YOU and your personalized care. And Jamie isn't just in and out at the end of your hygiene appointment like other places; she typically comes out and greets you before your appointment and is checking in periodically throughout your appointment unless she is in a procedure. She and all the hygienists are very thorough and always remember your particular sensitivities, etc. Once when I had a filling done, I had some pain at the beginning of the procedure so I needed some additional numbing. The rest of the procedure went fine and Jamie was very careful, always checking in to make sure I wasn't experiencing any more pain. Later that day, Jamie personally called me to check in and see how I was feeling. That is not something you'll get from any other dentist!! I truly feel like my dental health is better than ever now, thanks to Jamie and her team. Even if you're someone who hates going to the dentist, you can't not love this place!

I have been on working with Jamie and her team for about 5 years now. She has been comprehensive and straight forward and kind with me throughout the time we’ve worked together. There’s no shaming from Jamie! Also the attention to detail is unlike anything I’ve experienced going to the dentist. I have a demanding work schedule and Jamie and her team have been incredibly accommodating. It’s actually an experience I look forward to. Thankful is lovely space and team is in my neighborhood.

They go above and beyond to explain the different procedures and make sure I am feeling comfortable, both physically and mentally. I am very particular about the dentists that I choose, and I can honestly say that Dr. Brooks is one of the best. She has an excellent chair side manner, and she takes the time to thoroughly explain all procedures. Her technical skills are incredible, and I would highly recommend her to anyone who has bite issues. During the pandemic, I felt completely comfortable visiting the office because Dr. Brooks and her team have very stringent protocols in place. Dr. Brooks, Carlita, Brenda and Hannah are all great at communicating--even when I broke a crown on a weekend. And last but not least, the office is very supportive of local artists. Every time I have an appointment, they have a different artist on exhibit--so fun to see new art each time.

I highly recommend Brooks Dental to anyone looking for thorough dental care. Every time I leave Brooks Dental I feel energized and inspired to go out into my community and pass along the kindness I have been shown. I never experience this after seeing a regular dentist!

Jamie Brooks is not your typical dentist, though. From the first warm greeting, the aesthetically pleasing and immaculate interior—even the offering of calming Mad Hat tea!—will make you feel welcomed, appreciated, and confident you are in good hands. Dr. Brooks and her team work seamlessly together to give you the best care possible and strive to educate you about your oral health while making your experience calm and comfortable. I’ve learned so much! And they don’t miss any detail. For example, I was in at their studio again yesterday and I noticed that they even provide reading glasses with their waiting area books. It made me smile! That’s how great this place is: you arrive, have your teeth cared for and joyously leave a healthy toothed, inspired part of our community.

I have extreme dentist anxiety. I avoided going to the dentist for 10 years because of it. When one of my wisdom teeth cracked I researched dentists near me that were patient and kind about dentist anxiety and Brooks Dental Studio is what came up. I've been seeing them for about a year now and they are awesome! Jamie is very thorough and gentle and talks me through everything she is doing- it really calms my nerves. I highly recommend them!

Everyone at Brooks Dental is incredibly kind and helpful and goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and cared for. I first became a client because a had some unexplained tooth pain and they were able to fit me in really quickly even though I hadn't been there before. It turned out to be minor but I knew I had found a wonderful place. Since then I've been back several times for cleanings and some pretty intensive filling repair work. Each time has been as good as one could possibly expect. Highly recommend.

A little over a year ago I walked into Dr. Jamie's office with a ton of dental trauma and baggage, expecting another dentist with an impatient attitude and a heavy hand. Not only does Dr. Jamie take the time to actually LISTEN, she makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. She has the lightest touch, is incredibly thorough and never causes undue pain. I never realized how much tension I had after a simple cleaning with my previous dentist, but with Dr. Jamie and her staff, I leave their office feeling stress free, and maybe a bit nurtured. When I developed an incredibly painful tooth with mysterious complications, I called her while on vacation and interrupted her family time. She didn't make me feel guilty or sound impatient, she just took charge by locating my files, called in an antibiotic, referred me to a specialist in the Tacoma area who could help me until she returned from vacation and then contacted me daily for updates. Not once, during my painful experience did I feel neglected or unimportant. Her staff is equally kind, patient, thorough and trusting. Her office is also a gallery. What more is there to say? Except that Dr. Jamie and her staff are hands down, THE BEST medical professionals I have met in the last 15 years. Read less

Dr. Jamie has been hands down, the BEST dentist I have ever had and I have A LOT of issues with my gums and teeth. However, I have already written a 5 star review about my care, so this one is for my kiddos. My daughters (ages 4 and 6) have been going to Dr. Jamie for at least a year now, for check ups and cleanings. Today my 6 year old had to get a cavity filled. I was a bit nervous for her because I know how scary it can seem as a kid (I still have haunting memories from my childhood dentist.) Dr. Jamie, with her sweet, nurturing personality prepped my daughter beforehand with the appropriate expectations. She took the time to show her the tools that she would use and walked her through how she would use them. Since my daughter can over-react to pain and discomfort, I expected to hear a few shouts or a bit of whining at least. Nothing. All I heard was supportive words and gentle directions from Dr. Jamie and her staff. My daughter even told people afterwards that her experience was "fun!"
Dr. Jamie already had my stamp of approval, but now she has it from my kiddos as well. Thank you Dr. Jamie for being so incredibly wonderful to my family!

I came to Brooks Dental Studio several years ago with a lifelong fear of the dentist’s chair needing to rededicate myself to my oral health. Dr Jamie and her team helped me develop a treatment plan and get on a regular cleaning schedule. From Brittan at the front desk to Juliet as my hygienist, on to Dr. Jamie, I feel like I have a huge team focused on my overall wellbeing.

I now, dare I say it, look forward to going to the dentist. I should also mention that the studio space is gorgeous. There’s always beautiful art to peep while you get your teeth did.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Jamie at Brooks Dental for many years now and the experience is beyond compare to other dental offices. The first indication that you are in for a treat is the design of the space. It is beautiful, simple and modern while being warm and inviting as well. Then you’ll notice art on all the walls. Real actual art created by local artists. Dr. Jamie is passionate about art and her local community of Tacoma. So every few months there is a new art collection on display. Locally made tea to drink, and all kinds of little surprises made by Tacomans. As a patient, you get the distinct feeling the team works very well together and you are getting the most attention possible. They really strive to know you as a whole person and not just another open mouth. Dr. Jamie is a wonderful combination of fastidious and friendly. Oh, and the icing on the cake is that this practice works hard to be environmentally friendly as well by reducing their use of plastics and disposable products and offering incentives for using alternate transportation to the studio! They are simply knocking it out of the park in every category.
