The SandBar & Grill

This place is a hidden gem. I had no idea it existed until recently, despite living close by. If you drive too fast and blink you’ll miss it. The ambiance is great inside and so is the food. My husband and I have been here twice now. Last time we had the quesadilla, BLT, and pizza. Service is a bit slow but it’s worth waiting here. We will come here again.

Stopped by briefly to check out SandBar’s new location and were impressed. The ambiance, drinks, food, and service (by Gina), were all on point 💯 Also appreciated Shane (the owner) stopping by to say Hi and chat some; a classy touch.

It's been about 30 years since I've been in this building ("The Shipwreck" back then). The Sandbar was wonderful, totally inviting, with great service. And the food was awesome too.

Stopped by for the first time since the new location opened and it was great! The hummus was delicious and the pizza was so good!! If you're stopping by, you definitely need to try any of their pizzas. It is a super fun space and our server was so kind! Will definitely be coming back. Looks like they have a cool set up for late night karaoke or something too.

This post is just a follow-up from my post earlier. For some reason I wasn't able to post a photo of the fabulous pizza we ordered. So here it is, the Mariner! Look for my resent post of this delicious pizza. A must try!!

Great food and service.
Offers Karaoke Thursday and Friday and cheap cover live bands on most Saturday nights, Carpooling or Uber is highly recommended since parking fills up early.

Went here last night for drinks and karaoke and had a blast! Our server Mel was super friendly and made our night one to remember. I will definitely be coming back with my girlfriends. Great vibes!

Great place! Atmosphere and service was fantastic! We stopped in for lunch, and decided on a pizza, and was called the " Mariner" it was really good! Not your normal topping pizza. It had more of an elevated flavors and topping combinations. This particular pizza had, smoked salmon, cream cheese, dill, red onion with a pesto base and a cheese mixture.. It's rich, and delicious!! Super Good, and will get it again.

Excellent food at competitive prices. Waitress was very congenial, if a tiny bit overwhelmed by our table of eight. But all were served -- correctly.

New place and new menu is awesome!
We had a combo pizza and a grilled chicken/maple/walnut salad. Both were extremely good and the servers are nice as always. The owner came by to chat as well. 5 stars

Wow, this place is new, clean with great food and drinks and live music. I had the eggs Benedict twice now some of the best holiday sauce ever.
I only wish they served a clam chowder every day😉

A local favorite. Friendly faces and dedicated staff. They did a great job with the renovation/move, super impressed! Get the pizza!
(Only negative is that the location is on a pretty dangerous road, stay safe!)

Six of us including 4 & 7 year old had Saturday breakfast. Food was good and served very FAST. Atmosphere is good and glad they made transition down from the hill. We’ll be back!

Shane has done a great job in designing the menu and new equipment and bar furniture providing good food and brew.

Had to make an edit because I just want to thank Shane and Tanja for reaching out telling me he would rectify a recent issue I had. Would recommend reaching out to him for any future problems. Just proves customer satisfaction is what this place is all about

Had the fish and chips and nachos. Nachos could have used more cheese. Fish and chips were good. Could have used a few extra fries and an option for 2 or 3 pieces would be nice.

The homemade chips & onion dip were the best! Love the decor & finishings.
