I came here recently and the staff is very friendly and understanding.

I’ve been a patient in this facility. This is a place for patients on 51/50 and 52/50 psychiatric holds. Patients here are seen for drug treatment, mental health evaluations, and because they are a danger to themselves, someone else, or are gravely disabled beyond the ability to care for themselves. People yell, scream, vomit, and have outbursts and episodes. People here also receive medication, proper care, empathy, and are given groups, hot meals, snacks, time outside, music, arts & crafts, counseling, and resources inside and for once they properly discharged. The staff here is kind, caring, and attentive. I’m very grateful for the doctors, nurses, social workers, and lab staff in Unit B and Unit C.

Please keep in mind that this staff is trained to deal with individuals that are in a state of psychosis, under the use of drugs, having reactions to psychiatric medications, or experiencing episodes where they need the help of third party individuals to stabilize, treat, and house them until they are either released or transferred. I did not see any abuse or misconduct during either of my stays and thanks to them I am being treated and have stabilized.

Highly recommend this facility and staff.

My wife was flown in by helicopter and was immediately cared for in ER and soon was in ICU #1. Every nurse, doctor, and staff members were very kind and explained the care treatment protocol to us. We are still here finding the solution to her recovery with hope and God's blessing.

The treatment they offer here is amazing. They know what they're doing here.

I was there for about a month and the doctors and nurses are a.azing. they kno how to work and talk to each person. I .There own way for the patient to feel comfortable cared about. But my question is how do I get my records when I currently live in nyc

I went here because my medication stopped working, the Doctor and the Social worker were very caring--they really helped me out. I really appreciate their time and effort to listen to me when I was having a hard time and needed the assistance with my medications. However, when I arrived, the security and nurses we're horrible. Not to me, but to someone else. There was someone standing outside, and I listened to the Security guards talk badly about the person outside because he "comes to often" he has an "apartment to return to" and then they DENIED him service. They told him to go to the CSU across the street but the CSU was full. The nurse as well was very unprofessional about the whole situation about not allowing this person in. This is a center for emergencies--its not up to the security to decide what's an emergency, its up to the Psychiatrist to decide that.

DO NOT COME HERE. Being someone who knows about this place, if it is safe to do so take your loved ones somewhere else. The staff here are so heartless, for those of you familiar or not with these type of facilities this is one of the places that cares more about making money and not treating the clients. You Can thank the Boss Baby Dr. Chang. There are so many violations, lots of unsafe discharges that lead to clients actually dying because staff choose to not deal with the clients. This is a place where the ETS/ITF staff not only mistreat the clients, but they mistreat the family members and even other RIHS employees that try to advocate for the families. Try to support your loved ones as much as you can so you can prevent them from going here.

95 days ago, we checked in our 14 year old niece. 94 days ago, she was released and we were chastised saying she doesn't belong there. Yesterday she took her own life. Maybe, just maybe, listen to the adults about what is going on at home vs listening to a hurting child who knows exactly what to say to get released. We were disappointed then. We're sad and hurting now. Thanks ETS, thank you for turning us away when we were trying to save this child. This facility is the epidime of why the system is broken.

My brother was admitted last week due to come recent change of events that caused his mental to become altered. Within 3 days they pumped my brothers body with so much drugs that he now could possibly have permanent damage. It's sad how you have get lucky and get good staff during your stay in order to get proper treatment of care. People suffering from mental health issues are already having a hard time coping with the "new normal" yet there is staff there that is provoking patients to become upset and angry, then staff shoot them up with psychotropic drugs and use the justification of the patients angry (that staff caused) to administer. And now I cannot get a call back. Go figure! If you love your family or friends, please find an alternative location. It's too risky to take the gamble of getting a good member of the staff or not. Ridiculous. And this comment is being read by a staff member, I'm still waiting for a call back. Even if it to tell me you cannot speak with me. It's the respectful thing to do. Have some integrity. Thank you.

PS. I thought my brother was treated fairly due to this not being his first visit here but after this experience it makes me wonder. My brother experienced not liking to come here but I did not look deep enough into it. Now I understand, the fact that staff would treat my brother that way when he knew he was on the phone speaks volumes. I can only imagine what happens when there are no ear around.

Doctor is super rude ! Not professional what’s so ever ! Not understanding won’t help out I took my brother who is mentally Ill and all she had to say was get him out your house put a restraining order on him!
Nurse name “Chan” “chin” how ever you spell it super rude and shows no care makes you feel like there’s something wrong with you ! And super disrespectful!
Night time security super ghetto with a tattoo or a gun on her face highly rude and gets into your “ confidential “ business.
Doctor let’s everyone know your business have no privacy just horrible left extremely mad I can only imagine what they do to there patients PLEASE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR LOVED ONES DONT COME HERE PLEASE REPORT THAT PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!! Ps I talked to manager she didn’t do nothing about it. Please stay away from this place!

Dr. Malik is extremely rude she has no sympathy for their family never the less the patience I regret being my son there I’m scared for my son but he needs the help. Viewing all this negative comments I don’t don’t know what to think about the change this facility is or will make in the future. Being a doctor should come with some sympathy kindness for the patients and their families.

This hospital, doctors, and nurses are a joke! I kept in constant communications with them regarding my love one. Begging them to keep him longer. My cry and plea for help were unanswered. They released a love one of mine’s, who was CLEARLY unstable, with a bus pass and no real post treatment plan. Whatever you please don’t take your friends and live ones here. The hospital and staff should be ashamed of themselves. Given this hospital, doctors , nurses and caseworkers the thumbs down for me!!!!! Never again!

Got sent to this place by the Moreno Valley because I was dealing with bad self esteem and confidence issues. This place feels like a human dog pound, I will be aware if the hospital or police decided to send my relatives here. I felt more depressed than I did at home. The nurses and doctors always ignore your questions and act like you never said anything to them. They make you sleep in these ugly rubber mats that were really uncomfortable especially on a a hard floor. Not to mention I had an issue with epilepsy, they gave strong medicine which made pass out, I tried warning the nurse about it but she ignored it. They need fire all these nurses

i have come here as a teenager girl a total of 5 times and each time was worse and worse the staff would rather drug us to sleep then actually treat us like the facility claims. the "treatment" was yelling, druging, and locking us in our rooms. i was there for seeing and hearing things being alone made it worse and it was in my file not to be left alone but instead they would lock me in the quiet room for hours and hours. this is the worst hospital ive ever been at.

If I could give zero stars to the unprofessional nurse Cristina and Irene the "supervisor" I would. Today my brother was taking to this place and Cristina aggressively refused to provide health care to my brother. When I asked for her name she said im not gonna give it to you and I'm done talking with you. My bothers was sedated and left outside of the emergency room. I called back to the hospital and spoke with Irene the "supervisor " I explained to her what happened and she said she would take care of the situation. Long short story my brother was left outside without receiving medical help. I called back Irene and with an attitude she said he has to wait outside. I asked her for the nurse name to make a formal complaint and she said I don't know her name. But when I spoke to another nurse she said yes Irene spoke with us already. So Irene new who the unprofessional nurse was and what she did and she was still trying to protect her from being reported. It's illegal to refused health care.

If I could give less than one star, I would. The staff are rude and don’t care about their patients well being. Keep people on medications they are allergic to so that they have psychological reactions so that they can keep them longer. When trying to speak to my fiancé who is only in there because of a bad reaction to Ativan which caused hallucinations, there was a woman screaming and crying and no one was doing anything to help. There were men yelling. Not to mention, I get hung up on at least 3 times before I finally get through to my fiancé. This facility needs to be SHUT DOWN.

Like others have said if I could give this horrible place zero stars it would be too many! Please do not place your loved ones here or have them transferred to another place.. My brother was taken here he needs help and his nurse Raymond and the charge nurse Linda are the worst and should not be working in this field. They both hung up on me when I asked them what was being done to help my brother and what their plan was for him. They obviously do not care for the health of their patients I asked if I can speak to the doctor in charge of my brother and they hung up on me again. I am currently trying to transfer my brother to the Loma Linda psych department for better treatment! The people who go their deserve to be treated with dignity and respect something that this facility is unable to provide they are rude, disrespectful and do not see their patients as actual human beings they should be shut down honestly and I don’t know if everyone needs to gather together and open a civil case against this place for malpractice and get them shut down they are putting their patients in danger and if “I” the family member of a patient in their care gets treated this way I can only imagine the treatment they give their patients behind closed doors and then deny everything because who’s gonna believe a mentally ill person sadly
