Rankos Pharmacy

A rare family owned pharmacy, and the best one I’ve ever used. They’re friendly, super fast, and even offer free delivery if you need that service. Plus they have an adorable selection of gifts and such while you’re waiting for your prescription to be filled.

Rankos is the best pharmacy I have ever used. The people who work there are wonderful. They give the fastest service, deliver to your home free of charge, and answer all of your questions, plus they become family friends. You can't beat that or get it other places. A 5 Star rating isn't high enough!

A knowledgeable and personalized pharmacy experience that makes me feel like my health matters. Rankos Pharmacy holds true to their value of serving their Tacoma community. Medication management, delivery options, easy vaccination clinic options, and the staff are lovely!

Not just a pharmacy - unique gifts galore. This is the kind of store you can go to every week and find something new and fantastic. Their buyers are constantly cultivating displays of quirky gifts, puzzles, health/wellness items, and the latest trends. The other week, they had a section dedicated to mushrooms and I loaded up on books, a planter, pencil pouch, mug, and air fresheners shaped like mushrooms. So fun!

You can tell the Rankos family has put their heart and soul into their store. I’d recommend Rankos Pharmacy any day for quality customer service and the best gift finds.

Best part is the fast, full-service post office that not many people know about!

Always a pleasant experience. The clerks believe in customer service and are helpful. The filling of prescription is always quick if you must wait.

Lovely locally owned small family-owned business. The pharmacist are wonderful and eager to help you with any questions about your medication. The gift shop is so cute and has tons of awesome stuff! Easy way to support a local business.

Such sweet staff.has been in business for 90 years. Small but,big election of items.from nyks makeup to very good smelling hand made soaps, and children toys.They even have jewelry.customer service on point.

First time visiting and I loved the atmosphere and people. They were very helpful and went above and beyond with service. I was offered a mimosa upon entering and left with a goody bag after purchasing a couple of gifts. The ladies were very sweet and made my whole day.

Terrific local family business! Even the street frontage is a priceless treasure of the community. The whole Rankos family is a delight in terms of fast, personal/personable service. They sacrificed a whole lot to this community during the Pandemic as well. To hell with Big Corporate! Shop Rankos!

I had a great 1st experience at Rankos Pharmacy - the pharmacy and retail area are chock full of great items, and you can tell their staff really cares about their customers. Their pharmacist Greg was very helpful and took the time to answer all of my questions. I always choose to support small locally owned businesses and this is a great place to get your prescriptions and also find some fabulous gift items, as well!

Nice little Mom and Pop shop. Everyone is personable and friendly. I get all my prescriptions filled here now. The nice lady at the pharmacy counter recognized me by face today. That always makes one feel the warm fuzzies 😎

Greg and Liz are truly kind and compassionate people and they ALWAYS do their best to help their customers. I once mentioned to Greg that I'd paid over double for the exact same prescription at Walgreen's and that he could charge just a little more and make more money while still being fair to the customer. He quickly informed that he didn't come to work each day to do that kind of thing. He means it too. It's a great place with great prices and people and they have all kinds of unique gifts as well. I drive past 20 pharmacies on my way from South Hill Puyallup just to go to Ranko's to fill my prescriptions.

Very convenient and helpful neighborhood pharmacy. I get most of my meds through the VA but when I need something quick they are quick and have reasonable prices. Post Office services also excellent. Glad they are in my neighborhood.

The best pharmacy in town! I have been taking care of my father, who is 94 years old, for many years. He has had some problems: strokes, gall bladder removal, falls, degenerative spinal arthritis and more. He currently has twelve medications that are prescribed. Many of these need a Doctor's approval to renew. In the years that I have had to help manage his meds, I have never been frustrated or disappointed by their service or products! Theirs' is a true 'service', the kind not found elsewhere. They remember us by name. They also provide a US Postal service that is more convenient than the 'brick and mortar' ones (currency and checks only). I went to Stadium High School, a block away, over forty years ago, Ranko's is a landmark! They're an old established company, which has stood the test of time.

Rankos' Stadium Pharmacy is a legacy! They are truly of the last, great pharmacies out there. If you are looking for caring, attentive staff and a pharmacist who can truly help you, this is the place to go.
You are not just another bottle to fill at this pharmacy. The pharmacist actually cares to be a partner in your health!!! You do not get this type of support and service at the corporate box stores.

No matter what you are looking for in the store outside of prescriptions they are very helpful and can even provide great suggestions.

This pharmacy also has a great selection of gift items, sundries, etc. Such a great small town feel in the heart of the city.

They're pretty great! I had a little incident with them a while back but they were quick to apologize and even sent a written apology! In my book, thats pretty fantastic and rare these days. I recommend them to everyone I know!

Edit to add: I've moved a little ways out of the area and after trying several different pharmacies, I've decided to stick with Rankos. They're just that much better than everyone else.

Family owned Pharmacy. Been a part of Tacoma forever. Pharmacists go the extra mile here unlike chain pharmacies. The shop inside always offers perfect gifts and unique options. I like everything about the store.

I have been going to Rankos pharmacy for years and had positive interactions with everyone on staff. Mr. Rankos is an experienced and kind pharmacist who goes out of his way to make sure I’m taken care of and makes time to answer all my questions (and I have a lot of questions). I have medications that aren’t common and Mr. Rankos personally made sure my medications were in stock for each refill. Rankos pharmacy is the only pharmacy that has been able to consistently provide these medications every month. Love them all and I would highly recommend!!!

My mother and I were staying in this area for a couple weeks last spring. One morning, my mother needed a band aid for a minor cut on her finger. We stopped at this drugstore, but once we got to the door, noticed it didn't open for 20 minutes. A woman with a key to the door came by and asked what we needed. A couple minutes later she came out with band aids, gratis, for my mom. Wow! I love this area! And major kudos to Ranko's Stadium Pharmacy!

Greg and Liz are the best! They do care about their customers. Rankos proactively worked with my doctors and insurance. This is by far my favorite store.
