Last Stop Saloon

What a gem! After walking the railroad museum, we needed a cool spot to relax and have a few drinks. Ran across the sign and popped in for a few hours. The margaritas were superb - watermelon and pineapple - and their salsa and chips are made fresh in-house. Scott was our bartender and provided top-notch service. Nice, mellow atmosphere, great drinks and very relaxing. We will be visiting again when in Old Sac. Five stars!

Not sure why we haven't explored Old Sac more in the last 4 years since moving here but here we are!
The Last Stop Saloon is an unpretentious place with great drinks, super nice staff and an plenty of room to enjoy a get together with friends.

This place is a gem, and its highlight is a gentleman by the name of Mike. He's the bartender on Mondays through Thursdays - and he's cool AF. We swung by late Wednesday night for a few drinks and he took great care of us! He made some great drinks - loved the pineapple Mexican mule - and we vibed with him as soon as we stepped in.

We originally only planned to stop by to check things out, but largely because of Mike we're planning on stopping by tomorrow night too - which is great for Aftershockers cuz they don't close until 2 am!

Highly recommended to check this place out and come by on a night Mike works. Their food menu looks bomb too, but we won't get a chance to try it out as their kitchen closes at 10pm. As far as drinks go, great drinks with great prices. I had about 2 drinks and my bf and our friend had about 4 each, spent an average of about 20-30 per person.

This place is simply greatttttttt.
Still has that historic vibe, with an updated feel.
Not divey, and not over done.
Just right for Old Sac!

Come for the margaritas, or the root beer floats (they have adult versions too, but you’d never be able to tell they’re like 6% ABV!)… soo good.

Wings, cauliflower tacos, elote spring rolls, all were super solid bites! Menu isn’t super big, but they seem to do it all right. Veggie friendly too, which is always a plus!
Even just the curly fries, piping hot with a grip of dipping sauces to choose from.

I’ll def be bag for the grub, and arcade too.
Skee-ball’s my favvvvv, and the pinball machines are clutch. Just a good vibe all around, def worth checking out!

We had the elote egg rolls, watermelon marg, and beer on tap. Everything was great! Must try the egg rolls and the watermelon marg was muddled so it has chunks of watermelon in it. So delicious! Not to mention games like shuffleboard and skee ball to play. Very cool special spot!

Wonderful vintage bar in Old Sac has been taken over by a young couple with vision. From the updated walls and lighting to the exceptional drinks and affordable menu...everything is just delicious. A great find in Old Town Sacramento.

Love this place! Good drinks, great service is what I expect, and the owner is great with his customers.
And the food is good too. Just wish they had a Air Hockey table 😄

The cocktails were fantastically balanced in terms of flavor. The mezcal mule was absolutely perfect, just the thing for a hot Sacramento late summer evening. Food was really good too, music choice on point with banger after blues rock banger. Service friendly, prompt, and exemplary. A real gem of a bar.

Every time im in Sac I can't wait to stop by and get a bloody Mary, but the place had changed. No more River City Saloon "best bloody mary". New owner, new interior, slightly new vibe.
I really liked the dark saloon vibe, but the new lighter interior looks really good, it looks a little cleaner. They had opened just recently. The new owner was there the night I stopped in he was really nice. He said that he had the recipe for the River City Saloon bloody Mary and offered to make me one, but it didn't feel right 🤭, so I opted for something else. Nothing against him.
I'll be back soon and will test the bloody Mary making skills.😉

We didn’t try the food but the esthetic was pleasing and the drinks were superb. Alissa was super sweet and attentive. Loved the Paloma. Definitely not the dive bar feel of the other bars in old town which is very refreshing.

Matt was very kind and courteous to us, I’m not a big drinker but he recommended a lot of drinks that I ended up loving. Jose was also very friendly and very attentive to our questions, made it a very a very fun experience. I will definitely be back for Jose and Matt 👏🏻✨

Has neighborhood bar vibes, but is more upscale than a dive bar, for example. It has a laid back energy. Last Stop Saloon features a full bar, though draft options are not extensive. There are two skeeball machines, a pinball machine and a punching machine.

More bar then dining but chicken wings are awesome. Great place and friendly place.

Great service. Jose handled the after game crowd very well by himself. Atmosphere was open and inviting.

Great place to grab a drink and quick bite to eat. Really liked the Pineapple Mexican mule and buffalo cauliflower bites.

This place is the best! Friendly staff, amazing owners, delicious drinks and great food. Definitely my go to place in old town

First customers of the day. Good chips and avocado dip. Excellent jalapeno margarita!
