Candy Heaven

Now we're talking! This was my kind of store. Candles from the past and the present are available. A good selection of sugar-free candies can be found throughout the store. The sugar-free taffies are very good, as well as the sugar-free candies. I saw candies that I thought were long gone in availability, but I had to remind myself that they would not be priced like they were five and six decades ago. This was my favorite place along the Old Sacramento Waterfront. I highly recommend this store to anyone who shares a sweet tooth with me. Prices are competitive with similar stores even if they have gone up over the past six decades.

Great candy shop, so many choices, it is absolutely worth a stop . Staff is funny, quirky, and perfectly suited for this fun shop. Thanks for the experience, when we come back to Sacramento we will be coming back to this shop.

Such a cute and unique store. There are TONS of different candies to choose from - chocolates, gummies, s’mores, even crickets! There’s a HUGE section of taffy with insane flavors such as maple bacon, popcorn butter, mango chili, peanut butter and jelly, and so many more. The taffy costs $5.50 or so per 1/2 pound. Other stuff have slightly different prices per a certain weight but they are reasonable! The line to pay may look long but moves pretty fast. They used to do free samples but not anymore since the pandemic. A must visit while in Old Town Sacramento!

Always a fun place to stop in! Owner was there and he was so much fun and made our shopping experience fun. They have all the goodies. Old school-new delicious treasures.

So much to see and choose from. That's not a bad thing. The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful and rather pleasant. I really appreciated his demeanor. It made it fun to be there. Just as a side note you can purchase the baskets that You used to collect your goods, the large or the small. I purchased a small one for a very reasonable price to package and present the gift I was putting together. I wish I would have taken some pictures.

This is a must go when in Sacramento! Darrin and his team do an amazing job. It feels like being in Willy Wonka while in the business!! All the best candies are here and an amazing experience!

This candy store is AWESOME! if you like hard candy, sour patch, salt water taffy and more! It is beautifully organized and so colorful! I came in here and didn’t know where to start. It’s as if I was a kid again. Some of the candies in here are stuff from like when I was younger!!!

Staff: they were helpful and friendly. One guy saw I had a lot of stuff in my hands and he handed me a little basket. The girl at the cash register was telling us about some of the candies in the store and she had us try chocolate covered crickets! Ewww!!! But according to my nephew it tasted like KitKat and had a crunch like it Hahahaha! See video!

They were open late on a Saturday night. Forgive me if I can tell you the time they close. But, I know I got out of a show that ended at 10pm so I know there were open late! Awesome candy store!!!

The name of the store definitely describes the store 🔥 So much candies from my childhood and much much more. Love this store ❤

This is such a nice location.If you are looking for a item you haven't seen in a while or one you haven't seen since you were a kid they probably have it here ;) .The staff was really nice also.

Tonight, I was thinking to myself as my husband and I walked around around the candy store, "wow! That guy has worked here for a long time"'does he really like candy that much? I guess I was the only one who didn't know Darrin owned the whole darn store. He gave me a post card, magnet and a candy bar with his posture own it and it still didn't register until after I left. I've always had a good experience when I've gone into his famous candy store. Tonight's task was to see if the sold pez dispensers when we came across of pez candies, walking into the store. Yes, they sell dispensers an entire 2 walls of them. My husband got the Superman.I would have liked to find a Barbie one but didn't see any. They probably don't make them but I guess I can always google. Thanks for the gifts, the conversation and gags you love to play, Darin. ❤ I look forward to learning more about you.

Love this place. The owner and staff are amazing and go in there at least 3x a week. Love their taffy and have so many options . Such a fun place to shop which is why I always come back

This place was awesome. It's combined with a toy store but the place was awesome. It had things and toys I had never seen candy I've never seen and I was just amazed. Once again lucky I didn't have a bunch of money to spend because they had awesome paintings of Walt Disney characters and I admit that there's two of them in there that I want to buy. We had a great in this place and I can't wait to come back.

An absolutely MASSIVE selection of near every candy you can think of! Plus souvenirs, magnets, even dried crickets if you're feeling adventurous or looking for a bar snack ;)

Not a big fan of walnuts, but the dark chocolate covered walnuts Candy Heaven sells are... well, heavenly. I pick them up as a treat to myself whenever I'm in Old Town. They're really delicious. I also like the wide variety of saltwater taffy flavors.

I love bringing my nieces and nephews here. They love getting their basket and picking out just the right candies. Such a variety! Old timey candies, huge variety of taffy, thousands of Pez machines, lots of gummies, chocolates, all the candies!

Fun spot. Very unique candy shop. Family friendly. Staff is helpful, not intrusive.

Great place! Staff are helpful and patient, you're allowed to sample two taffies, and there's loads of candy. Only problem is that its usually packed, which isnt helpful since half the store's room is filled with barrels of candy. Great for the whole family, but don't bring your infants.
