Mr. Falafel

I have been to a lot of Mediterranean food places and this one hits the spot. Very fresh food, meat is tasty and the gyros are spectacular! Highly recommend trying it.

Mr Falafe. It is healthy and incredibly delicious. I came to Sacramento for errands and we gave up eating Mediterranean food and we arrived here very close to the center of Sacramento. The price is affordable, the atmosphere is pleasant and above all very clean. We were served by the owner, a very pleasant person with his service. we will be back soon.

Was visiting Sac and was really hungry. Stopped by to get a bite at Mr. Falafel.
Tamer took my order. I asked him what is good and he said everything. Didn’t believe him so I ordered the beef burger. Came with fries. The burger was so juicy and delicious. Tamer was right. Excellent food. He gave me a falafel to sample. Loved it and indeed it was fantaboulous.
Service with a smile. That adds to the experience. Will visit again if I come to this side of town.

Best falafel I've found in Sac so far. The fact that they let me sub tabouleh for the salad on the falafel platter means this will be my go-to place for this kinda food.

I've only ordered pickup but always fast and the chicken shawarma plate and wrap is very good. I also appreciate how they ask if you need utensils for the takeout (rather than already including them in the bag) which seems to reduce waste!

I stopped at this place on my lunch today. The customer service was top tier. The food was ahhhhhmazing! I don't know what seasoning they put on their fries and in the sauce but it was delicious. Definetaly will be returning.

By far the best Mediterranean food I've had in a long time! The Falafel were crunchy, flavorful and cooked to perfection, they were also heart shaped!
We also had Tabouli, which was perfectly fresh and tangy. The Kibbeh was also delicious and filled generously with ground beef! The hummus and baba ganoush were an amazing dip to the kofta and chicken shawarma wraps we ordered!
The restaurant is clean and modern, and the owner was very welcoming and made sure we were full and happy Thank you Mr. Falafel

This place was AMAZING! The service was friendly and quick while also taking care to prepare everything beautifully. The atmosphere was cozy and felt like a fun hole in the wall and the food was delicious. I got the combo platter with gyro meat and falafel for $16.99. The meat was tasty and perfectly combined the moist crispiness good gyro meat should. The hummus and sauces were delicious and creamy, the produce was fresh, and the pita was warm and fluffy. But the star of the show really was their falafel. The falafel was crispy on the outside and deliciously tender on the inside. The flavor of everything was great but the falafel was truly spectacular. I will be returning soon.

Great spot for original falafel. Made fresh front of our eyes. It was great catching it up with the owner. So nice to see new spots pop up!

This is absolutely the best Falafel sandwich I ever had in the US. It gives the Mr. Falafel its justice. It tasted fresh, crispy and soft on the inside. The sauce and fries were amazing. My wife had chicken shawarma sandwich and that tasted amazing as well. Prices are really good and the place was nice and clean. I highly recommend it if you're around. I promise you will like it. Its going to be another restaurant that me and my wife will visit many times to come.

The chicken shawarma wrap here sent me back to my childhood. It's phenomenal! It's perfectly seasoned with an ideal ratio with meat to veggies. Best shawarma I've had in Sacramento by a LONG SHOT.

Great food. Amazing owners that pay attention to details of the food. Bread and handmade dips and hummus are awesome. My wife loves the chicken plate and I get the falafel. We order extra for food for the next day! Well worth it.

On a number of occasions in recent months, I've taken my students to Mr. Falafel. We've always been greeted with a genuine smile and happy hello! Not only do they love the experience and the food, but they always comment on how kind the owner is to them. I never doubt that the kids are going to have a good experience every time we go to their favorite neighborhood restaurant. Not only are the prices affordable, but I too have tried a few dishes and have been very pleased with the authentic seasoning and quality. Having had the opportunity to frequently eat delicious Middle Eastern food at home, my opinion is that the menu items at this restaurant will not disappoint the discriminating palate.

When I've gone in on my own, I've personally loved the additional food items that were added to my to go order at no charge! I must say, Mr. Falafel is a very kind and generous man! You're going to love this happy place in East Sacramento!!

Wow! Great falafel! One of the best I've had, and the best I've had in Sacramento. Perfect texture to the falafel pieces, great flavor in the pita/wrap. Hummus as well has excellent texture and flavor 😋
