Country Waffles

Country Waffles stands alone,
in a strip mall on busy Sunrise. It's a large, country-themed restaurant, clean but dated. The servers are pleasant and bring delicious food hot, from a big menu of traditional items for breakfast and lunch. The breakfast menu includes excellent country potatoes and delicious country gravy. Many regulars inhabit CW and that's always a good sign.

This is one of three restaurants with the same local ownership. Flapjacks on El Camino & Taylor's in Loomis are also very good.

Not only was the food AMAZING, the service was great too! The staff was super friendly and came by several times to refill our coffee with freshly made coffee and too see if we needed anything. We keeping coming back because it's like this every time!!

I haven’t been here in years I have to say they have really improved. Our waitresses was very friendly with good service. I tried the chicken n waffles, egg Benedict with country potatoes. The potato’s could have used more onions but the chicken n waffles was very tasty.

Such fast service! Excellent over medium eggs 🍳, bacon 🥓🥓 & great iced tea.

First time coming to this place, I've driven by many of times & today was the day I tried it.
Exceptionally great customer service food was amazing and price for items are very reasonable.
The hot links were not to my liking so they were nice enough to bring me a side of bacon instead.
Definitely coming back.🤤

This place was incredible !

We were surprised how busy it was
But soon understood why

We asked for outside seating which was accommodated
We had a wonderful lunch - we ate soup - salad and a huge Club sandwich
Topped off by a train going by !

Good food and a great atmosphere. The staff is fast and attentive and very friendly! The omelets and biscuits & gravy are to die for!!!!

Ordered The Hangover. It's a 3 egg scramble with ham, sausage, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, and cheese. It was also supposed to have chili's and tomatoes, but I opted without. They serve it with Texas cheese toast, and I got a side of gravy. It's enough to feed two people and soooo delicious.

The staff is great. Also, the regulars bring their large coffee mugs rather than using the little ones from the restaurant.

$17 after tax.

The food is delicious and affordable. So good I forgot to take a picture! The service was great.

I’ve lived near this place for the last 7 years and have never eaten here until now.

The best turkey California burger hands down. The chicken and waffles with the country gravy is also something to try.

Great place for waffles. You can tell the food is worth eating when there is a line of elders ready to be seated. On a Sunday morning we were seated in about 5 minutes. The coffee was great and the variety of waffles was fun. We tried the bacon-peacon waffle and the peanut butter and banana waffle. The peanut butter was generously spread. Also, the staff was very polite.

Great staff and yummy food. We do a predawn breakfast every year. Country Waffles is wonderful food and outstanding service.

This is one of my favorite places to go for breakfast. The staff is friendly and timely. Even when it is crowded, the wait usually isn't very long. Most importantly, the food is great. I am a huge fan of the pulled pork sandwhich.

We have been eating their for 28 years. Always great food.

Food is delicious!!! Haven't had something from the menu I do not like! Service is great, just gets pretty busy!! I highly recommend this place!!!

Just recently found this little gem. They have the best waffles (so fresh & warm). Hands down, it melts in your mouth 👄. Love this place. Awesome service and food is so delicious. Only open for breakfast, brunch & lunch only. A must try.

This is a really nice place with friendly staff that’s is very accommodating. If you are looking for a nice diner atmosphere that is not a big chain this is a good spot.
