Simply the best! I was in a desperate need for a hair cut, and Ashlee gave me the perfect hairstyle and made me feel so beautiful. Amazing place, great people, and you will walk out feeling like your best self!

Laura and the team at Hive are incredibly talented! She always listens closely to what I’m looking for, whether it’s an updo, new hairstyle or a trim. She also taught me how to finally manage my wavy/curly hair in the Florida heat. Couldn’t recommend the salon more!

Cassandra has done my hair for 2 years now and helped cure it of years of heat damage that it’s the healthiest it’s ever been! I always LOVE the colors she does on my hair, pics are recently from my wedding two weeks after a color appointment with her and I couldn’t be happier with how it looked! She is always a joy to see and the Hive is a great atmosphere, 10/10 recommend!

Update: I've been going here for almost 3 years and still absolutely LOVE the Hive. It's a great group of creative stylists and a fun atmosphere. I still go to Laura and yes, she is still priceless!

Laura is priceless! She is helping me recover from a bad haircut I got before I moved here without all the awkward stages. The color is fantastic and exactly what I wanted. I can not say enough good things about her skills. Plus, she's a wonderful person to talk to 😀

Cassandra has been doing my hair for a while now and I can't say enough nice things about her. She takes time to really understand what look you're going for, is very honest about what can't and can be done and is very knowledgable. I always leave with great hair and a good experience. Plus, she's super nice! The salon is adorable too.

i loveee this salon! growing up my parents only ever took me to generic areas like super cuts before school time (and i always hated it). i grew out my hair to my waist and in march decided it was time to cut. i recently went back to trim because i loved it so much and i cannot express how good the experience is! i was remembered from my appointment 6 months ago and they were even lenient with rescheduling due to dental work! as long as i’m in the area i’ll always choose to schedule here. always really nice and a fun time

I am not a person who frequents the salon, as I find many times the experience feels very cliquish and uncomfortable. The minute I walked through the door I felt very welcomed and I loved the atmosphere. I walked away with a hairstyle I absolutely love and I will not be going anywhere else! The Hive is the best hair salon in St. Pete! I get my haircut by Ashlee and she always does an amazing job, not to mention she’s hilarious and a great person to be around. I’m so glad my friend referred me to this place. The pre-haircut head massage is the best!

What a fantastic salon!! The space is beautifully chic, and the team makes you feel right at home. Scheduling is a breeze, the scalp massages are phenomenal, and I am over the moon happy with my cut. I’m in the process of growing out my bangs, and Cassandra knew just what to do to make new curtain bangs pop. The ladies are incredibly knowledgeable about products, treatments, and different hair types, and ask all the right questions to give you the look you need for your lifestyle. This place is a little gem in St Pete. Ashlee and Laura are both really pleasant to be around, and incredibly talented. I always absolutely love my cut and color, and I recently had extensions done by Ashlee. They're perfect!

I moved to Florida about 11 months ago from New York, I am use to going to high end salons.

After trying several salons with bad results. I thought I was doomed to have to fly to NY to get my hair done. I was at an event when I met Laura and asked her who did her hair. I was ecstatic to learn she was a hair dresser. I made an appointment and never looked back.

I got hair extensions and color. I love it and it was the best thing I ever did to invest in myself. Easy to maintain and affordable. I never told her what I wanted but she did exactly what made me look beautiful was the most amazing wonderful experience and I will never go to another hair dresser in Florida. She is a high end hairstylist with reasonable prices and you always leave her salon feeling beautiful!!

I recommend several people to Laura and Ashlee. Every head of hair they touched they transform into sea of beauty. They both are incredible hairdressers with years of experience and are color experts.

You will regret it if you don’t try them!! Both these ladies are amazing and have wonderful personalities as well!

LOVE The Hive. Laura has been cutting my hair for a years and does an amazing job! I have curly hair so that is a huge thing. Everyone is really nice and the salon is super cute. Seriously can't ask for more!

Laura's talents are Epic! She's a great stylist and a bright spot in any day. With curly hair that grows in random directions - picture a rough guinea pig - Laura is the only stylist I've ever found who could tame it. Thanks Laura! Love your place!

LOVE this salon. Ashlee is amazing! She color color corrected my hair and it turned out beautiful. She is so creative and came up with a vision for festival braids for me! Very attentive and crazy talented!! Strongly recommend the Hive!
