Chinook Lumber

Chinook lumber is on my list of places i wish i would have shopped sooner. i always thought this was a store for pros, but when i finally had a lumber order large enough i figured i’d at least give them a chance to quote the order. they came in hundreds of dollars cheaper than the home center, including delivery, and quality of materials is much higher.

Delivery came a day early, and was dropped unattended at my garage and ready for me to use whenever i got to it. the driver even noticed one of the items had slight damage during delivery and a replacement delivery for the damaged item showed up later that day without me even having to call about it. try getting that level of service from the home center!

Super helpfull crew. Materials are always better condition then home depot and they are great with swapping or refunding if you do find any damaged lumber,

I’m writing this review to reflect the quality service and the great support staff to buy any or all building materials that you may need. I was looking for some particular structural lumber and was referred to this business by a general contractor. Upon going to the business and inquiring about the products I needed I was very impressed with the knowledge and the quality of material they offered. If you’re looking for first class Materials along with first class service I highly recommend the store. I have never been disappointed with these guys. Reasonable / completive prices on lumber and hardware. I have purchased fencing, deck supplies, stain and tools. They offer great advice including lower cost project alternatives and ideas. I depend on them for all projects, large and small. The staff is way, way more knowledgeable than what you will find at the big box retail outlets.

Curtis was an amazing help. We sat there together for over 3 hours working on a deck my father and I are building. It was so nice to have him sit down with US and go item by item. It's a big project, we were there for hours, but Curtis was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and most of all patient... We will definitely go through Chinook/Curtis for any other Trex needs

Ordered 2500 sq ft of Trex Composit to replace the cedar on the deck of my rental house

Ordered lumber from the Snohomish Chinook Lumber (for Decking) per the advice of my Contractor; received the lumber today, and had the BEST experience with driver Ron. He called ahead of time, was early & efficient, friendly & professional. He unloaded the lumber carefully to my parking area with that awesomely-cool tripod forklift, and then helped me cover it with tarps I had at the ready. Plus, he was just a damn nice guy. I really appreciate good customer service, and Ron has it in spades.

I visited other lumber stores in the area in preparation for a porch renovation project, but decided to buy the materials from Chinook Lumber for one reason: David Larimer in sales. I emailed back and forth with David asking questions about the material and design options, and always received incredibly thorough replies. He walked me through options in person too. He is by far one of the most helpful salespeople I've worked with on any home renovation - genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. The great customer service didn't end after the transaction--during the construction phase, we realized we were short on materials (my fault) and David saved the day by helping me get extra boards quickly. Reasonable prices too! Highly recommend Chinook Lumber - Snohomish.

Chinook lumber is great! Their prices are as good or better than the big box stores. There cedar is top notch and you get that "small town" service that is just a fond memory from days past.

Josiah got my deck railing order just right and I appreciate his time and assistance.

The speed and customer service is top notch. Forget waiting in line at Home Depot or Lowes. In and out of there in minutes with all your materials is amazing.

I have ordered 2 lumber packages over the last few years from these guys. Pricing has been great ( I shopped) and the lumber and delivery great. They are very helpful.

A bit of a drive from Bellevue but worth it. Quick reply from employees for what was in stock in terms of lumber. Efficient check out and loading of lumber. Good product and price!

They have a pretty good selection but their overall quality is way above average and if customer isn't satisfied with the quality they have no problem exchanging and returning.

Very friendly service, great help and refill of propane tanks is $2.29 a gallon on 9/12/2018. Will be back.
