Safeway

Safeway is a leading contender for grocery shopping. Their product selections are typically great, their prices are reasonable, and usually a good value. And with the Safeway "app" (Just 4 U) the savings really help out!
I have been a regular shopper at Safeway for 45.5 years!

My 3 yo daughter got her wrist stuck in the cart we were using. She was cool as a cucumber, I was freaking out. The store manager, Erik, was amazing. He kept me calm while chatting with my daughter, then formulated a plan. He used some Aquaphor and her hand slipped right out afterwards. He was so nice, helpful, and level headed. 10/10, would definitely recommend Erik.

Sandy is amazing at her job! She runs the DriveUp & Go super professionally every time I visit!

New favorite Safeway. Well stocked, good selection, clean and well staffed. Looks like it's been remodeled/refreshed relatively recently, (past few years or so). It's worth driving a few minutes past the Thrashers Corner to get here. Stop by and see what you think. Update: all of the above holds true on repeated visits. New go-to Safeway for us!

Just because Google asks for an update: everything above holds true in 2023. Still a great example of what Safeway could be. Not all are created equal! And now, in the middle of 2023, this still holds true. And now, at the end of 2023, this still holds true, (it really has become our go-to Safeway.)

Everyone says prices are increasing but I haven't seen it yet.

The Safeway stores always have specials like Cheap Chicken Monday with 8 pieces of dark (4 drums, 4 thighs).

The employees here are very nice and help you out as prompt as the can. If there is an issue like a digital coupon didn't work, they will fix it for you. They always have smiles and make you feel like they want to help you. I find this so nice because it seems to be rare to find this kind of common courtesy nowadays, refreshing for sure. It's weird today that common courtesy, manners, and common sense are old school behaviors. I say safeway, thank you for keeping it old school😉

It's a great store location on highway 9. Helpful and courteous people there too!

I do apologize, the potato salad that I bought was at the Avondale Safeway. I do not recommend the Avondale Safeways deli. This deli has always been great, no complaints.

I love this store. They're the closest store to me so the quality and constantly updated stock are really important to me.

This is a smaller store but they always have items that are frequently out of stock at other stores in the area. Their fruit and vegetable stock is always excellent.
I could but won't go on and on.

I grew up with Albertsons and used to shop there regularly as an adult at the Greenlake store. I forgot there was still one out here not far from Monroe. Well worth the drive. The employees are very attentive and super friendly! You can tell they enjoy their job. The selection is the best. It's very easy for me to navigate without ending up in the severe arthritis pain I get from shopping in the huge super stores. Comfortable atmosphere. Items are still stocked on the shelves in the aisles that make logical sense unlike stores that stock them to get you to go down every aisle. It's so very easy to find stuff! Glad they haven't caved to the way other stores do things now.

I've always loved Safeway! Great selection, great prices and value! Employees have a great attitude and are ready to help!

Originally an Albertsons, been shopping here for 20+ years. The produce is the best, so fresh. The employees are very nice and helpful.

Albertsons is a long lost tradition in grocery retail. Known for convenience and fried chicken, Albertsons was our last destination to stock up on staples before the boat journey up through the San Juan's. From Snoqualmie Falls pancake mix to Tim's Cascade chips, we had all the picnic greats plus milk, cereal, bread, butter, etc... The best was after getting underway, having a thigh and a Coke. I hope Doug Martsch will stay the stir fry for the fried chicken next time. It will make his apartment smell like a home.

This is One of the best Safeway‘s around and is very properly set up I’ll drive to this one 15 miles away before I go to our home town one

Clean parking lot, seldom out of stock of favorites, excellent meat dept. Staff is always willing to provide excellent customer service. The baggers are pros

They gave it a facelift and I think it looks so much better! It used to be an Albertsons, but it looks the best it has looked. Clearview is such a nice area. I hope they continue to keep up the Safeway and the plaza in general.

I honestly could say that this safe Way makes me feel very safe in a way that the food being as fresh as it was when I purchased it here had a safe place in my heart you feel me yes!

Way to expensive going to start driving 30 miles to grocery shop it's much cheaper in the end and the old grey haired lady that runs the uscan is a hag very unpleasant and really very rude.
