Banh Mi Express

mmmm it was good, I got a Vietnamese coffee with a number #4 sandwich. It was so good 🤤😍. I have to go again and the service was amazing 🙈. Everyone has to come and try it !!!

Omg I love this banh mi; it is one of the biggest banh mi I've ever had, there so many meat inside and sooo good, and it is very cheap too. I would love to return and bring all of my friends because I also enjoy the environment at the store. It's very warm and comfy.

The Bahn mis here are out of this world. I had a #1 - Combo/everything and a #5 - BBQ Pork, and they were so good. I took some to my uncle, who's 84 and had never tried them and he was blown away. The baguette is just so good, as are the ingredients. Also enjoyed the iced Vietnamese coffee. Super friendly. Casual/chill vibe.

This place has great food! I can only speak for the banh mi, but I can only imagine that everything else on the menu is great as well. <3

Excellent Banh Mi Sandwiches. The bread was fresh and crispy, and the grilled pork and veggies were marinated just right. The owner was friendly and calling in my order avoided any lines. It's definitely my favorite Banh Mi in SD.

Had a tofu veggie banh mi. The tofu was cooked sweet which wouldn't be my first choice, but still tasted really good. All the veggies were super fresh. The bread was so good and quality that reminds me of Bale Sandwiches which is my go to, but is unfortunately so far from me. I was reluctant to post this since I feel like this area finally got the sandwich shop it deserved and I would love to keep this place to myself. Prices are great and it looks like they have tons of other stuff to try. I'll be back!

Hands down my favorite Banh Mi spot. Blows other places out of the water! Even the larger more known ones in SD. Number 1 and Number 8 are our favorites. The tofu is delicious and great for vegetarians! Born and raised in SD but currently stationed in AZ. I make the drive from Arizona about once a week and this is always my first stop before I do anything. It’s also my last stop on the way home to grab to go!

Awesome breakfast croissant sandwiches! Definitely worth an out of the way trip in the morning. Fresh baked croissants, pastries and the baguettes are awesome. The baker really knows his trade. Friendly owner and staff. Fast service. Outside and comfortable inside seating great for a little laptop work - wifi. A little difficult to see this jem from the street behind the Carl's Jr., so hopefully Google can help remedy that. Also, good expresso with added condensed milk for a semi-sweet caffeine boost.

I'm a big fan of this place and go once a week since I work nearby. My favorite is the Xa Xiu pork sandwich. I'm never disappointed, and the staff is excellent.

Awesome sandwiches and egg rolls, and very friendly service. They have veggie tofu options for those of us who don't eat meat.
