Special Brews

Special Brews is one of the pillars of the Seattle-area beer community.

Their bottle selection is large and well-curated with all styles represented - the best lambic selection in town, plenty of barrel aged things, and of course all sorts of lager, IPA, cider, gluten-free beers, and more.

The taplist is large and diverse and will always have things to interest anyone. The staff are a blast and offer great recommendations. There's plenty of seating, a TV to watch the game, and a good number of food options nearby you can bring in.

This is everything you'd want in a local bar and everything you'd want in a specialty store combined into one.

Always a great selection of beer on tap and in bottles. Highly recommend. If there is a better place for quality beer, I don't know it!

What can I say. One of my all time favorite places to visit. The staff is so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Always have a sensational menu and even if you are not feeling that, they are more than willing to help you find something in the coolers. Pop in and make this one of your regular spots just as I have.

Incredible selection! I was blown away by all the different beer and cider. I was also pleasantly surprised by the prices. I plan on coming back often!

Barista I dealt with was super sweet, and yes knowledgeable. I kept get the pineapple cider because it was just incredibly delicious and relatively fair priced. They have a huge selection of beers I've never heard about and I was happy to try a few. Plus got some drawings of monks in, which was nice. Haven't drawn in awhile. Forgot how much I liked drink n draw and meetups like that. Great place, appreciated.

Told the guy behind the bar that I have some friends visiting from out of town and would appreciate if he could pick me out some of the cans from the cooler. He enthusiastically picked a variety that my guests loved. This type of customer service is missing in many businesses today. I had a great experience and will be back.

Special Brews is a great place for craft beer in the Lynnwood area. With over 20 taps, a huge selection of bottles and a staff that really knows beer. This is our go to beer store.

We’re local and have driven by Special Brews far too many times without stopping over the years. Glad we finally did. They have a great tap selection and tons of additional choices in the coolers. Highly recommend stopping by if you want to try some great beers.

Fun place to stop in for a drink after work. The owner and workers are very personal and know everyone who is there, if they don't know you, they'll recognize you the next time - I really appreciate that level of personable business they run here.

Plenty of beers on Tap, about 30, and plenty of cans on the shelves and in the fridges to try. Good prices for a draft, exotic and domestic drinks throughout the tap, and overall just a fun vibe. Not like a "bar" but more of a tap house or bottle shop is what it reminds me of.

This place is great ! Been coming here for years. The owner is super nice and helpful. I appreciate that there are ton of non alcoholic options in the fridge so I can feel like I’m still having drinks even though I’m pregnant ! Nice little outdoor area in the sun too .

Best selection of beer in the Everett area. Ever since toggles shut down this is my goto for craft beer.

Love this place. Found it by chance about four years ago, and appreciate the selection, and personnel. They really go the extra mile to understand your tastes and recommend beers. They always have my husband’s soda, and it’s appreciated. They’ve also been super agile during this constantly evolving environment, and sensitive to the precautions that need to be taken. If you are a local, and like good beer, hit them up!

This is the greatest beer store ever. As a non drinker with a husband who has a taste for interesting beers, I appreciate having the help of the very knowledgeable employee to choose from the literally hundreds of beers available here. It's a cool, funky little place to grab a beer with friends, or just to pick up a new beer to try at home. And everyone here is so friendly and helpful. They have always been very kind when I tell them I have no actual clue what I'm looking for. They ask the right questions to help me narrow it down. And you can spend what you're willing to. They have some cool inexpensive beers, and some cool very expensive beers. I've purchased both and never been disappointed.

Adding this place to my top-5 go-to list for craft beer. They've got a very wide selection of current top local & west coast brewers (emphasizing micro, nano). Lots of cans and bottled options. They also have a beer garden and a bunch of beers on tap to enjoy on-the-spot. Similar to Chucks and A1 Hopshops. Check it out when you're in the area!
