This is my first time ever writing a review for anything. I don't do any social media because English is not my first language. But here I am writing a review about my most recent experience with the Ploetz Team. In February to March of 2023, Steve helped me buy and sell a house simultaneously. It could have been a very stressful transaction if it wasn't for Steve and his team. As someone who has been through many business transactions with several real estate agents, I can say with confidence how lucky I am that I met Steve.

Whenever I was confused about my options or signing documents, Steve was there to answer my questions, even the silly ones. He was quick to reply to me via text and email. Not only is he very professional, but he is so humble and thoughtful. Steve and his team CARE about their clients. They are professional and have big hearts.

The staging crew that Steve works with did a beautiful job. Steve even paid for Staging! I've never worked with any agent that did that for me. The team also had great communication with each other. They were quick to answer my questions via text and email and guide me through the next steps. A few months after my transactions, Steve called me to check in and ask how I was doing. He introduced me to handymen and other contractors that I needed at that time.

Steve is an incredible realtor who goes above and beyond for his clients. It’s taken me awhile to write this review because I didn’t know how to put into words everything he did to make my complicated sale happen. First, I should say that I had originally purchased my townhome in La Costa with the help of Steve. Then 7 years later, I needed to sell my home for unfortunate reasons and that’s because my daughter had a serious medical issue that brought us across the country. When I decided to make our move permanent, I contacted Steve to see if he could sell my home with me being afar. I thought it would be an impossible feat considering I had left San Diego with very little notice and unable to return due to being a solo mom and needing to be with my daughter on the East Coast. Steve assured me he could help me make this happen and having worked with him before, I had complete faith that he could. And he did. Throughout the process, he was calm and confident in taking the reins to make the move and sale seamless. He brought in his great team and was able to get my furniture out and belongings packed, had my home staged, beautifully photographed and listed the home in just a few weeks. When deciding how to increase the value of my home, he gave amazing insight in what he thought would add value and what wouldn’t. For example, I wondered if painting the kitchen would help. And he advised that in my case, a small remodel wouldn’t add substantial value to the home. And he was right. He sold my home for more than we listed it at and at one of the highest price per square feet in my community. Within a few days, he got 2 great offers, and offered great guidance on which one to accept. There were a few small issues that came up with my home (ie stuff with HOA, repairs on my home) and he handled it all so I could focus on my daughter. Steve, Eli and everyone on the team are just joys to work with… they are transparent, practical, compassionate and also of course incredibly savvy at making the best deal happen. I can’t even begin to thank Steve enough for the seamless sale of my home during an incredibly stressful time in my life. We feel we’ve had a complete win-win experience going through two separate home transactions with the Clendenens and SP&T. From buying a house and also selling a house, we are pleased to say both have been a remarkably smooth process. Although on different timelines, both situations operated under contracts with very short Escrows. Deadlines were met and we were connected with the best of professionals in the process that bolstered our confidence that our home was receiving the proper evaluation it deserved for both parties.
