Del Oro Smiles Dentistry

First time going to this dental office. Great experience. Starting from the courteous front desk staff, the dentist showing and explaining what is recommended to the dental hygienist being professional, thorough and kind. I would recommend this office to anyone who has had a poor experience elsewhere.

Dr. Xingxing Chiong was amazing. She made me feel so comfortable. Especially with some of my sensitive teeth. She made me experience literally AMAZING! I 100% would recommend having Del Oro take care of your teeth. They really care!

I've been to 3 different dentists since relocating to Oceanside in 2020.
This has been the best experience out of all of them. I like the fact that they make crowns there and don't have to deal with temporaries.

Best dental visit ever. Liked the modern equipment used, like the x-ray machine (very thorough), and the cleaning device was excellent. Dr. Ybara did a great job of cleaning and explaining my dental situation.

In search of better and more cost-effective dentistry, I recently signed up for my employer’s PPO dental insurance program. I discovered that one of the highest-rated in-network full-service providers in my area is Del Oro Smiles. After I was motivated by a toothache to stop procrastinating, I was pleased with Daniela’s pleasant response to my telephone call. She scheduled me within two business days. Rebecca helped me to sign into their MyChart system so that I could efficiently perform the usual pre-visit registration.
At check-in, Daniela provided me with copies of all paperwork, including a detailed printed cost estimate. Viviana called my former dentist for my records and imagery. I was fortunate to be assigned to Dr. Alyssa Ybarra, an honors graduate of UCSD and the USC dental school. After hearing about my symptoms and reviewing a full set of new x-rays, Dr. Ybarra explained my toothache and proposed that the offending infected and non-restorable tooth be extracted. This was accomplished just two days later at the office by dental surgeon Dr. Nader Nasseri-Nosar without pain or complications.
I appreciate the practice’s on-line MyChart system, which is the same Epic system used by Scripps, UCSD medical, and Loma Linda dental school. I was able to link all my dental and medical records. I have noticed how well the office is organized and administered. I am beginning to learn that is due to owner Dr. Victoria Nguyen and office manager Rebecca, and due to support from Pacific Dental Services. (PacDen’s website explains that they partner with dentists to provide business support and continuing education.)

The team at Del Oro Smiles is super courteous and friendly. They very professional and proficient. Their work is amazing and their team has a phenomenal synergy. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you all for making my visit comfortable and relaxing and making my experience enjoyable.

Best dentist I have ever been to! Dr. Ybarra made me feel welcomed and comfortable. She took the time to explain each step of the procedure with me. She did 3 crowns for me and they were a great fit. She tried to save me time by getting the work down on same visits to avoid multiple appointments. I will definitely be recommending her to all my family and friends. I can't say enough how grateful I am for Dr. Ybarra and the entire staff at Del Oro Smiles Dentistry!!!

Dr. Savoji was amazing!! I came in having not been to the dentist in years. She was patient, understanding and took care of the issue on the same day for far less money than I had planned to spend.

I am happy to say I’ve found my permanent dentist with Dr. Savoji.

Excellent first impression!!! Dr. Nguyen and her staff, Kennedy, Jen, and Jasmine, provided superior service. Dr. Nguyen performed a baseline for establishing my care and treatment options, took extra time to explain those options, and followed up with me during my visit to ensure I was comfortable during my visit. Kennedy thoroughly cleaned my teeth and gums taking special care of my sensitive areas. Jasmine was very kind and courteous as she assisted Dr. Nguyen during an oral procedure I had done. And Jen took the time to explain several treatment options along with thoroughly explaining insurance coverage for those treatment options. All in all, excellent service provided above and beyond what I have experienced in the past.

I recently moved to the area and was in search of a dentist who took my insurance and had great ratings. I am delighted to say I found everything I was looking for at Del Oro Smiles Dentistry. All the latest technology and a staff of wonderful professionals. From the moment I called and made my appointment to being greeted and prepped and seen by Dr. Ybarra and a deep cleaning of my teeth by Kennedy the hygienist - it was a fantastic experience. Jen the manager came in and explained the cost of what needed to be done. Dr. Ybarra explained thoroughly what she would be doing and followed through step by step. I could not have been happier with how I was treated. I left smiling. That's the highest recommendation I could give them.

My encounter from front office to back office was excellent! Jennifer (office manager) was great in explaining financial side of my visit. Dr. Robbins was clear and thorough with her assessments and plan of care. Kennedy ( dental hygienist) was excellent and gentle in doing her task. The rest of the staff are friendly and welcoming. More visits to come and highly recommended!

My first dentist since leaving my hometown. I’ve had the same dentist for 30 years and Dr.Ybarra made me feel so comfortable! I’m so happy I have found her and Del Oro - everyone was kind, helpful, and patient.

I’m so happy I was able to be seen on Saturday! I have had several crowns and implants done at this office and I highly recommend them if you are in the area. One stop shop with general dentist and specialist on staff they truly care about providing high quality dentistry in a friendly environment.

Ok so I normally don’t post reviews but I feel Del Oro Smiles deserves it. I started having lower jaw pain this past Saturday night, which progressed on Sunday and worsened on Monday to the point where I couldn’t think couldn’t sleep couldn’t eat or anything. I went to my general practice dentist, Dr. Wernick . He took exams and determined that my lower right molar in the back had a crack on the back side and advised me in his opinion that the tooth was not savable. He referred me to North County Oral surgery on vista way and I was advised that they might be able to get me in but no guarantees, and after arriving, going through a consult, thinking that I was going to get the tooth extracted, they suddenly came out and pushed it to Friday. Well that doesn’t work for me. First I couldn’t deal with the pain. I told my wife what happened and my loving wife went out and found Del Oro Smiles off Oceanside Boulevard on the corner of college after going in and them verifying my insurance Dr. Lee and Gwen took care of me. It took Dr. Lee over an hour to extract the tooth, but he never gave up and his bedside manner was impeccable, and he was very calm and cool, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Nothing but great things to say about the staff at Del Oro Smiles. If you ever need a tooth extracted Dr. Lee at Del Oro smiles is your man.

I recently moved back and needed to find a new dentist. After a series of unpleasant appointments at the dentist I started seeing, I was referred here to see an endodontist. I saw Dr. Alzwaideh and I can’t say enough good things about both him & his assistant. Not only were they both so knowledgeable, but they truly cared about my needs as a patient and my comfort. I get anxiety at the dentist in general and I came in thinking the worst. Dr. A explained to me that was not the case & I actually wouldn’t need his services. I highly recommend him & am so happy to know there is a wonderful team available if my family or I need endodontic services in the future.

Additionally, the receptionist/coordinator was wonderful! I appreciated how kind every single person was in the office. Will be switching to this office for general dentistry as well!

Words can't even express how grateful I am for Dr. Victoria Nguyen at Del Oro Smiles Dentistry! She redid my front tooth crown that I was unhappy with, and not only did she fit me in right away (same day), she made sure it looked absolutely perfect for me. She is seriously the best and most caring dentist I've ever found, and I've been to so many places. I will never be able to thank her enough for completely fixing my smile, and for that I will be a patient for life!! All the other staff who work here are super awesome as well. I also appreciate that I have never been scammed here or felt like they are trying to push unnecessary procedures/charges on me, it makes a world of difference when you find a dentist like that and it is RARE... so I 10/10 recommend you look no further and choose Del Oro Smiles Dentistry!!

Excellent care and Jennifer really helps people to be able to pay for their dental needs. All the dentists and their assistants are Awesome and do everything they can to make a person comfortable. I have dental phobia and this is even better since visiting this office on the 29th of December. I am even thinking of getting my teeth cleaned now and I will eventually get a couple implants.

I highly recommend checking out this office if you need a new dentist. Sheryl and the office staff are super friendly, welcoming, and accommodating! Dr. Alia and the hygienists are very professional, incredibly informative and knowledgeable, and most of all friendly and easy to talk to. You can feel how genuine everyone is in having you in as a patient. Also, the music in the office is GREAT! Keep up the great work!

Stop right here if you are looking for a great new dentist. I had the best dental visit experience from the initial phone call to the visit to check out. The office is high tech and has a great warm staff. My Dentist Dr. Baydoun was awesome and educated me on what was going on when she was speaking with her staff. I have never had that happen..a dentist who actually told me what was going on! Also I was anxious but she made me feel so relaxed and at ease that I forgot I was anxious. I had some extra dental issues as well and by the end of the visit she had already called a specialist! I could not believe it. Hopefully you will take my recommendation!
