Woodglen Vista Park

Beautiful park. Lots of shade trees. Plenty of places have a picnic & places for kids to play. There is a section dedicated to dogs. I found this park while playing Jurassic World Alive. Several EPIC dinosaurs spawned here.

It's been several years since I've been to this park, and I was pleasantly surprised at the upgrades and upkeep they've made over the years!
The shade trees help keep the park cool and welcoming, and the gazebos are nice for parties or rest stops after a nice walk.
There is a playground, a skate park, a dog park, and a baseball field.
I met my friends and we walked our dogs, but didn't visit the dog park area. Maybe next time.

Nice, quiet family park. This park includes grass (play on, games with kids, etc.), separate dog park, skateboard park, playground equipment for kids, and a pavilion with 18 tables.

It's a very big and nice park to walk your dog, very friendly people as well

It's a nice community park. Relatively clean and they have gazebos you can reserve for parties.

Nicest Dog park around, always has plenty of dogs to run with, near by water sources, kids playground, restrooms, people are fairly respectful with tending to cleanliness , benches and chairs for sitting laying , lots of tennis balls, shade, dirt and grass. Love it.

Took the dog to run in the large dog park...very clean and well maintained.

Very nice dog park nestled in the back of the park. Grass recently replaced by nice mulch. Nearby bathrooms are convenient.

Very clean park tucked away in a sage part of santee. It has a HUGE dog park area!
My dog had such a great time running around with so much room!! There is a playground, as well as basketball court that I saw. Parking is pretty decent as well 👌

We go here for the amazing dog park. It's fully fenced in and plenty of running room. There are also lots of place for shade and chairs!

Nice park. There is a section for dogs. Another for beisball and a rotonda with grills and tables . Also a playground for little kids. Do not forguet restrooms and a skatboard course.

Nice park. People are friendly and the kids enjoy what this nice park has to offer.

Clean, nice play equipment. No stray animals. Nice skatepark.

There was o my one dog there other than mine, very friendly. Lots of bowls and balls for the dogs. Plenty of seats for you to utilize.

I know my post is not going to really help anybody in the "here and now "make a decision on whether to go to Woodglen Vista Park or not .. but I want to share anyways.. I was a child of the 1980's and grew up right down the street from Woodglen Vista Park ... Back when i was younger it was a whole different world.. The park playground was " very dangerous" in design, it was a lot of metal that would get so hot , burns were common place. I remember there was a three story part that you could climb into .. at the top was a slide ( pic below) that always had urine down it .. on top of that it was so hot from the sun.. its was sheet metal.. ? There was always fecies at the bottom of each slide that you'd have to watch out for, on top of that- the "stoners " ruled the park.. usually in black jackets blasting boom boxes with heavy metal that had profanity. They would take over the park, and they didn't like kids very much, so you knew that was time to go down to the creek and see if you could find any crawdads. The skate park wasn't there.. I remember when they built the gazebo though.. I was happy because the storers relocated there.. when I was really young.. the bathrooms next to the tennis courts were atrocious .. they were made of metal and always fecies splattered purposely on the walls which were covered with gerfetti such things as for a good time call... you held your breathe going in.. hurled and ran out.. they eventually tore those down.. Woodglen Vista Park was known as a ruff park.. and you never would be there after sunset .. ever! Dispite all of this growing up literally just down the street , I loved this park.. and would love to see it again sometime .. it will always hold a special place in my heart! Thank you...

Love taking my dog here. For the most part everyone is really friendly and is prompt to clean up after there pets. There is no separation between sizes of dogs which surprised me at first, but has never been an issue that I've seen. The dogs tend to stick with their similar sizes. There is grass, lots of shade, water dishes and seating all the way around the dog park.
