True neighborhood gem! I have been a patron of Viva Jalisco for many many years. The quality of their food has been consistent. With its extensive menu, consistent food quality, generous portion size, friendly servers, speedy service, reasonable prices, this is simply one of the best family style Mexican restaurants in the area. LOVE everything about Viva Jalisco!

We came in for Margaritas and an appetizer. We had the La Deliciosa Margarita and the name speaks for itself. We also had the Chicken Taquitos appetizer it was delicious. I will definitely be back to this place.

The food is excellent! We've lived everything we've had there! The margaritas are also great!

The parking is somewhat limited, so be prepared to be patient if you're there at a busy time.

Oh - DELICIOUSNESS - This place seems like it won't be good because it is tucked into a strip mall. However, the service was amazing and the food was delicious. Their salsa was chunky and divine - their burritos were large and filling. Everything was fresh and served quickly. Even their chips were hot. Definitely recommended

Delicious food. Great service. Small restaurant but it is worth it. Our server Georgina was very helpful and the rest of the personnel was very attentive. Definitely recommend this place to families. The atmosphere is also very relaxing. My wife and I came to eat here on a weekend and it wasn’t that full. Will be coming back to try some other dishes from the menu. I had the pollo macha and my wife the super nachos. Everything was so good. Oh and the churros are yummy. They are filled with cajeta I guess?

This was my first time at this restaurant and I have to say the food was absolutely amazing!! The service was very very good and everyone was very welcoming and attentive. Portions are huge. I ordered beef taco salad and my husband got carne asada and both were amazing. You must try their churros, their filled with an amazing sauce, best we’ve ever tried.

This was our second visit to VJ. We adore the warmth, tough love, and service of the owners, and the lovely, attentive staff. The ambience is chill and relaxed if you go in for an early lunch. Food is always wholesome, fresh, and comes in huge portions. Proving the adage that the best things in life are free, they bring in hot chips, salsa, and a cabbage pico de gallo which we just cannot get enough of!
I remember their dishes were more spicy and flavorful the last time we visited. This time they were slightly less seasoned, but that could be entirely because we didn't ask specifically for heat, or order spicy items. Online menu shows old prices. In-house prices are definitely higher. Expect to pay 25+ drinks extra per person for dinner.
Very pleasant experience overall. We will definitely be back for more.

We've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and decided to finally give it a go for take-out night to support our local small businesses during this lockdown.. oh. my. gooosh!!!! Unbelievably fresh and delicious! Pretty sure they make their own guacamole but I forgot to ask. The service and people were wonderful, they thought of everything from disposable/plastic wrapped utensils and napkins, to the side of chips and salsa you normally get at the table for dine-in eating! Please please please make sure to support them during this time if you can! Our youngest (pickiest) devoured his chicken Enchilada and rice, and the rest of us tried the burritos (Chicken Fajita, Carne Asada, and the Dos Burritos)! Definitely a new favorite! Can't wait to go back when they're open to dine-in service again!!

Always so great to come here. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and their food is top notch!! Everything on the menu is delicious.

I love Viva Jalisco.
There is no better place to eat between 522 and Mill Creek. No truck, no dive bar, no $$$. Some equal. Sometimes the mood dictates. None are better.

We were out with friends and they said they heard good things about Viva Jalisco. It was Saturday evening and we got in with no wait. Classic Mexican look and feel. The margaritas were large and the food was delicious. Tried the Carne Asada Burrito and was quite pleased. A hearty size and just the right zing of seasoning. Our server was friendly and checked back often. Prices were fair to the slightly higher side. The only odd thing was the booth we were in felt a bit small. But overall had a fun time, we'd come back again.

I had a nice lunch at viva Jalisco. Large meals and tasted good. The waitress even helped my grandson decide what he wanted, which was very helpful. And I really liked their salsa. They took are order quickly and brought our food very fast. I have no complaints

We love coming here! The food here is great! You know what you are getting when you order it and no surprises. I also like the fact that since my spanish isnt that well I still can communicate with everyone well. It is clean and family friendly, we always get the hi from anyone who walks by. I have not had a server that wasn't great! I posted the video of the trio fajitas for two as well as the kids mexican pizza (just to try something new) if you are ever in the area stop by. You won't be disappointed. ....

This place puts all other Mexican restaurants to shame! The kids menu is excellent for only $4.95 with lots of variety.

I had the Veggie Fajitas (out of this world) and my husband had the nachos which were 5 Star! I was happy to see several Vegan / vegetarian options and of course gluten free.

The food was very flavorful and fresh. We were impressed by how quickly they prepared our food and the speed and attentiveness of the wait staff.

Norman was our waitress and she was super quick, friendly and knew exactly what we wanted and needed for our dietary restrictions.

We highly recommend this place. Great for quick service, food and family friendly.

We love our Mexican food. And I gotta say, Viva Jalisco is our favorite. We’ve dined in and ordered take out as well. Either way, their food is a level above. I appreciate the speed of their take out being ready for pickup - I’ve never had to wait. Portions are generous, which I love. Sometimes I eat it all, and sometimes I eat half and have the rest the next day. My favorite is their Super Nachos. My husband loves their combination meals.

Great food!!! Staff is very friendly and attentive. It's a good place. Kind of small.

Everything was from scratch. Fabulous flavors without excess salt. Outdoor dining and take out too. LOVED our latest experience.

Honestly just amazing! Me and my family have been going for years and when we don't know what to have for dinner, it's always an included option. Personally, I'm a picky eater and still, I always love going. The food is delicious and the customer service is the best! My dad always asks for more salsa after he just eats it like nothing, and they got it done! I have gone since I was little and still get recognized when I go. Overall just awesome restaurant and my family are planning to go there this week so I’m excited for that and for other future visits there.

Food was excellent. Margarita was strong. Although the lighting was way too dim for my liking. The food more than distracted me from it. Server was always checking up on me to make sure my margarita was never empty.
