Del Mar Nails and Spa

Went to Del Mar Nails & Spa for the first time today and I wish I had known about this place earlier! I went to get my nails done prior to my wedding and Julie did such a beautiful job!! I cannot stop looking at my nails! She made my nails look gorgeous and took extra effort and care to make sure they came out extra special. Couldn’t be happier with the results; highly recommend! Amazing experience. The best mani-pedi I have had in San Diego county. Will definitely drive down from Carlsbad to go here. Sophie is great with manicures and she was a perfectionist (in a good way). She would fix my nail design even without me having to tell her to do so.

I've been going to Del Mar nails and spa for years and consistently have a great experience. If you go for the Del Mar pedicure, the massage is incredible. It's the longest massage with a pedicure I've ever had and they make you feel so comfortable. Wine or water is offered. You can almost always get your nails and toes done at the same time (unless they're super busy). I consistently get compliments on my nails. I travel a lot and when I go somewhere else out of town I always regret not waiting until I can come here! 10/10 recommend!

This is the only nail place I will ever go to! They are seriously amazing and I have struggled to find places that do my nails efficiently and effectively! Everyone there is so talented and do an amazing job but Kimmy in particular is so meticulous, fast, and always makes my nails look beautiful and exactly how I want them! 10/10, my new go-to!

CONSISTENTLY GOOD

When I was young my mom got her nails done every week. (Still does). It was her time alone, though I do remember my brother and I going with her from time to time and getting clear polish and painted balloons (probably when scheduling got tangled). And I've followed my mother's trend.

When I moved to San Diego (11 years ago) finding a consistently great nail salon was as difficult as finding a great dentist. It took me 5 years and finally I made an appointment with DONNA at DEL MAIL NAILS and SPA. Donna is professional, personable and she has perfected her craft.

Today I had an acrylic set done by KIMMIE. Picture shown. I've only had acrylics once before. Day 1, I am impressed with them. Kimmie looked at my photo once and was able to replicate beautifully.

I brought my best friend here to get her nails done for her birthday. We had an 11am appointment on Sunday. Even though the salon was busy, we were immediately sat. My friend got full set of acrylics and I got nude gel. They were super quick yet careful with our nails. The entire process was a little less than a hour. Her nails turned out so cute and she was so happy how they turned out. She couldn’t stop taking photos of them!

I was in Del Mar for a wedding a found Del Mar nails and spa online so decide to head in. I have been getting my nails done at salons for 15 years and I can honestly say Julie gave me the best manicure I’ve ever had! She took so much time and care to give me a natural looking dip manicure and I would HIGHLY recommend stopping in! Nga also did a fabulous job with my spa pedicure and gives a great foot massage! 5 stars!

Love this place! My nails literally last for like a whole month every time I go in. So far have been 4 different times for a new tip and dip set and a spa pedi! Highly recommend!!!!

My daughter and I had an overall great experience at Del Mar Nails and Spa. I had Sophie and my daughter had Tina for our manicures. Both were fantastic and did a great job making our services relaxing and our nails beautiful. The only fault we found was that there were some purse sales people who slightly messed up the mood, but we still had a great time. We plan on going back for sure!

Absolutely the best nail salon, everyone is patient and very skilled. Sophie is especially talented, her attention to detail is phenomenal. Highly recommend.

I made an appointment for a pedicure and gel manicure. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by a few people. I was taken care of right away. The pedicure was very relaxing and the gel manicure turned out flawless. I parked in the parking garage and they validate parking! By far the best nail salon in Del Mar! Thank you for the quality nail care and utmost customer service. I will be recommending you to my friends and family!

Kimmy is the only person I trust to do my nails. I always get an acrylic manicure, and she is so quick and skilled. My nails last me for over a month, and I’ve almost never had issues with lifting or breaking. Highly recommend!

The nail tech " Sophia " is awesome and very professional and did an excellent service for me.

Kimmy is the best! So sanitary, clean, COVID friendly, caring, and amazing. If you want to get your nails or toes done and feel safe during these hard time, go HERE! I always am served with the best service. I have been to many nail salons in San Diego and this is the best. The quality and price is unbeatable. One thing I love most about Kimmy is how she takes her time to really prep my acrylics, smooths down everything, does the perfect shape, and preps my nails perfectly before she adds the colored gel on top! Best mani/pedi I’ve had in years! The team really took their time with the sugar scrub and massage, and I enjoyed the paraffin wax treatment. No smudges on my nails as they gave me plenty of time to wait for them to dry. Everyone working the salon was friendly and attentive, and they were able to accommodate me as a walk-in without issue.

Everyone is super sweet! The place is nice and clean. 10/10 customer service Kimmy is super sweet and does such a good job at designs and acrylic nails. I’ve been coming here for a while now and they never fail to impress.

Kimmie (& the rest of the team) do a consistently excellent job with my manicures & pedicures! Kimmie recently did my nails for my wedding and they were beautiful and held up great even throughout my 3 week African Safari honeymoon!

I love this salon so much! The salon is immaculate, and has a great selection of the newest colors whether you get gel, dip powder or just lacquer polish. I felt very welcomed, comfortable, and relaxed, there is an overall great vibe in the salon.

Proper sanitation and sterilization procedures is extremely important to me because I am a working practitioner in the medical field. I feel very confident that the proper measures are taken to sanitize the tools here.

I am so glad I stopped by here while in Del Mar, I will be coming back! I would definitely recommend a dip manicure with Lisa, she is attentive and extremely gentle, I already scheduled my next appointment with her!
