Dr. Johnson is amazing! I had some pressing questions about returning to CA from out of the country and she quickly and thoroughly answered my questions and concerns. I’ve always had the best experience at the Campbell location! Wish we were moving back to the area so we could go there again.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience here!

I would highly recommend Dr. Reed and his clinic, especially for anyone with a cat who gets anxious about vet visits!

The clinic itself is kept very clean and orderly. Everyone I have encountered at the Campbell location thus far has been professional and very kind.

Dr. Reed himself is an exceptional, experienced vet who knows exactly how to work with nervous pets. He was able to conduct a full check up in a very calming, methodical and relaxed nature that allowed for a surprisingly pleasant appointment for my cat.

1000/10 would recommend Dr David Reed to anyone wanting to find a vet who truly cares about their patients as well as cares to make relationships with the families.
Very knowledgeable and compassionate, and very much focused on making sure the parents feel comfortable on the care being provided. Cannot recommend him enough!!!
Side note- we are total helicopter parents so us giving this much praise is truly because our experience was incredible.

Also- his employees!!! Andy his tech was PHENOMENAL!!! Words don’t do her justice!!! She is patient and understanding and wants to know each and every pet 100% so that she knows exactly how to provide the best care- y’all she said “I see she didn’t like when I stood over her so I’m going to make a note that says to get low and approach slowly because when I did that, she came up to me no problems” our girl loved her!!!!! I can see already that our naughty American bully will LOVE going there and not be scared, shoot with how much she got attention up there she may TRY to go back!!
Anyways, take your fur babies there!!!

I have been going to Reed Animal Hospital for 11 years and 3 dogs. I trust the people at Reed so much that I recommend them to everyone who just got a pup. I have had every experience you can think of:

- I have taken my 8-week puppies in for vaccinations. The doctors there will take the time to answer any questions you may have about your furbabies.
- I took my puppy to Reed when she broke her toe doing the zoomies.
- Anytime we find a new lump on my senior dog (he's 11), I bring him in to get checked out. He also gets his teeth cleaned there every year (by the awesome, very capable Lindsey).
- And when my sweet, precious 2-year-old mutt got diagnosed with DCM, we couldn't have asked for a more empathetic vet than Dr. Johnson. She is the Medical Director and incredibly knowledgeable and kind. She made herself available to us via email during that difficult time and I will never forget it.

It's clear that everyone at Reed, especially Rosie, Lindsey, and Dr. Johnson, cares about the animals and their families. For example, we took my senior dog in recently because he had diarrhea. We ran some tests and I didn't think I would hear the results for another week, but Dr. Johnson emailed me--after hours--on a Friday night to tell me some good news so I didn't have to worry all weekend. That's the kind of people they are.

One last thing: If it's an emergency, DRIVE to the nearest open animal hospital (don't just call or sit by the phone). If Reed isn't open, there's ArchVet in San Jose and SAGE in Campbell (they're open 24 hours).

We've been a long time client of Reed Animal Hospital and have always been so grateful for the wonderful care they've extended to our dogs. Dr. Reed, Dr. Johnson, Lindsey, Rosie, Misty and the rest of the staff are truly amazing and compassionate vet care professionals!

We wanted to take this opportunity to mention Lindsey who recently and very patiently explained our dog's dental health issues to us! Who knew dental cleanings--like the ones we get minus anesthesia--are as important for dogs as they are for us???

That Dr. Reed's staff continues to provide such an awesome level of care even during this most challenging time because of Covid is a sterling testament to their incredible dedication! It seems to us that their jobs are even more demanding than the medical professionals we go to because our dog certainly isn't able to tell them what's going on, and though we hate to think of it, there's always the possibility that she might not react so politely to the people who are only trying to help her.

Reed Animal Hospital is hands down the best veterinary center I have taken my animals to. Their front desk staff is friendly and knowledgeable and go the extra mile to maintain a comfortable environment for you during tense or emotional visits. It is certainly not an easy task to simultaneously provide stellar service while navigating through the sometimes stressful reasons for a pet's visit. Rosie and her team make it look effortless.

Dr. Johnson is amazing. She is extremely thoughtful and knowledgeable, and all of my pets have loved her. Both Dr. Johnson and Dr. Vieyra made the impossible happen when my cat needed to see a specialist after having a stroke, he got an appointment within hours. This hospital team truly gives 110% to ensure your pets get the best care and give pet owners the information they need to make both easy and difficult decisions. I have countless examples of how Reed Animal Hospital has provided high level medical care and client services and am confident I will continue to be grateful for having found them.

Dr. Anthony is wonderful. There is no other provider I trust with my fur babies. This comes from a nurse that knows the health industry and wants the best of the best. Whether it be routine care or a complicated surgical intervention, Dr. Anthony's knowledge and skills are superb. I feel like she treats my animals like her own with love and compassion.

Dr. Reed is an amazing vet and a quality human being, and he and his staff have provided consistently great care to our kitty family over the years. Dr. Reed is a deeply skilled experienced vet - he asks questions, and yet he also truly listens. This is in part how he saved our cat's life. He also knows when to bring out his refreshing sense of humor :) Also Rosi at the front desk is wonderfully compassionate, and just really great at what she does. So thankful to have Dr. Reed as our vet.

They were quick to straighten out a puppy well-check issue...finding those little dropped, or not, testicles...long story with the result that I know my doggie is in the best of care with Dr. Reed and staff. Consummate,caring professionals always have a smile for me and lots of love for precious pup.

I've been a patient (well, I guess my dog has been a patient) of Dr Reed's for 7 years. Our first experience with him was when she was a puppy and we weren't patient's yet, but the compassion and kindness he showed total strangers sold us! I've never had a negative experience with anyone at either the Campbell or Saratoga clinic. They genuinely love animals and care about their wellbeing. I would go nowhere else with my pets.

Dr. Reed and staff are amazing! They always take great care of our fur babies; from vaccines to complicated surgeries, we know they are in great hands at Reed Animal Hospital. We are planning on moving about an hour and a half away within the next few months, but we will still make the drive to see Dr. Reed. He can't ever retire!!! Our dogs will not be seeing anyone else!

I rescued a feral litter that I all of a sudden had a hard time with 2 of them latching on to their bottles 1 had crashed and I was forced to take it to emergency in the middle of the night 2 days later that one and another one I couldn’t get to eat. All I wanted was some help feeding them I was getting scared and frustrated. My vet wouldn’t help me! Another rescue partner wouldn’t help me so because I was passing by Reed I called! MISTY WAS WONDERFUL!!! I explained the odd situation and that I didn’t need anything but some help. She asked where I was and I told her in the parking lot! She came right out saw the tears in my eyes and took the kittens and the bag I had with a bottle different nipples extra formula... She was so empathetic and did her best to get them to feed. She gave me a syringe and a can of wet food gave me instructions on the best way to mix it into mush to try and get them to eat that way. She told me to call her if I was still having problems the following day. Thank goodness I did not have to! I was so disgusted with my vet and the others lack of compassion for these 3 week old kittens! I couldn’t understand why nobody would help! SHE DID! She never hesitated a second which tells me she does her job because she loves animals 1st! The paycheck is secondary! I will be taking all my pets and rescues to Reed from now on! THANK YOU MISTY!!!

I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff / technicians / doctor here are absolutely stellar, not to mention having very good COVID protocols in place for their patients*

I came here to update Remy's shots, as well as to get a general wellness exam. Dr. Johnson was very kind and informative over the phone regarding Remy's status. However, Remy bit a towel during the exam, and her incisor fell out, leaving a nasal fistula. It was alarming, but also a blessing in disguise, because I was concerned with her dental work for some time now but have been really hesitant to put her under anesthesia due to her again.

Lindsey, one of the technicians, was able to schedule us for an operation the very next day to repair the oronasal fistula and extract other rotting teeth. The staff kept me updated via phone/text throughout the procedure, and made sure I was aware of anything they were going to do. Lindsey's calm confidence and comforting statements were what helped me relax during this whole process.

After the operation, Lindsey was very thorough with her post-operation care. When Remy started pawing at her face aggressively after we picked her up, I frantically called them back asking what to do. I was worried that Remy would break her stitches. Lindsey immediately said she would put out a cone outside for Remy, and that I can just swing back and pick it up.

In summary, I found the staff, especially Lindsey, to be extraordinary when it came to instilling confidence in me towards risky procedures, as well as always being available for my questions. The waiting time while calling is sometimes long, but I am always able to get through to speak to someone about my concerns (the waiting is probably due to COVID also, and I honestly don't mind it! Everyone is doing their best.)

Remy is back home now and on Day 1 of post-operation recovery. Her energy is fantastic, and she seems unbothered mostly. Thank you Dr. Lindsey + any other staff members involved for taking such good care of my dogter and comforting me throughout the whole process. I'm so grateful to have found this place on Yelp and chosen to bring Remy here.

(*) COVID PROTOCOL HERE: You call them when you arrive. They have a blackboard with these instructions at the entrance as well, along with the number to call. Once you inform them that you are here, a staff member will retrieve your pet, and take it inside. The doctor will call you to discuss everything during the exam/whatever you needed to go to the vet for. Then they will bring your pet back out when everything is finished.

Great prices for awesome veterinary work! They worked very well with our german shepard and were very polite to us as well. They actually cared about helping our boy and keeping it affordable rather than trying to get us to spend as much money as possible like I've experienced in the past at other vets. Also very good about respecting the covid-19 guidelines.

My mutt (~1.5 years) was a first timer at Reed, and I found them after searching reviews online and going on blogs. They have two locations, so make sure you schedule for Saratoga or Campbell. Dr. Armer was our vet and he was so kind and informative on the phone (this is during COVID times). The vet techs and front desk folks are very sweet and helpful too. We came for a check-up and because she had some diarrhea. Dr. Armer is fabulous with correspondence via email, which is what I prefer during this pandemic. They also work with Chewy if you prefer to cut costs that way. Sure, vet visits are expensive, but they have a generous first timer coupon. What would be cool is a monthly subscription so that examinations would be included in the fee. A few vets we had in Texas had that option, which was cost-friendly and less of a headache for pet owners. Thank y'all for a wonderful first exam for my baby.

I took both my dog and my cat to Dr. Reed after relocating to the Bay Area. I found Dr. Reed and his entire staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. When my dog had an emergency, potentially eating food that was poisonous, Dr. Reed responded immediately and was quickly on-site to take care of us. My pets have found a loving vet for life! Thank you Dr. Reed!!

Dr. Johnson is AMAZING! She demonstrates the highest level of professionalism and care with our pets. We are very fortunate to have her as our Vet. I also need to give a shoutout to Rosie. She is absolutely wonderful and we greatly appreciate her!

The nicest front desk people you will ever meet! Our golden-doodle puppy rolled around in a weed bush and became covered in tiny burrs from toes to nose. Every one at both the grooming facility (Dr. Dave's) and Reed Animal Hospital took great pains to comfort our little traumatized puppy and us!

We needed them on a Sunday afternoon. They will be our Vet from now on.

What can I say? I was almost in tears because my dog was ill. They were kind, caring and professional. My dog is perfectly fine now, and I am ecstatic about it. Thank you folks!
