Scan Design Furniture

We've purchased many furniture pieces from Scan Design over the past several decades....it's our "go to" place to find the items we need. A lot has changed over the years and we are not happy with most of those changes, but we all have to adjust. Luckily, we found Noah to help us and he's been great. He's sensitive to our needs and has vast product knowledge to match us to a perfect selection. We trust him and that says a lot!!

To start, really surprised by the mixed reviews because I had a great experience. Most furniture here comes from Europe and if you custom order, it takes 4-6 months -- this isn't different than any other upscale furniture store. Pricing here was competitive for what I was looking for, but like anything else you should shop around and don't necessarily buy the first thing you see.

Salesperson Betty was great during the sales and after-sales timeframe. Truthfully, all staff are friendly and welcoming - Noah processed the delivery today and Badr in the warehouse helped inspect, repackage, and load the furniture into my van.

All told I am delighted with the low pressure sales experience, and the great value of the furniture; I am certain to recommend Scan Design and come back for my next furniture piece!

We went to Scan Design to purchase our family room furniture after purchasing our living room furniture there last year. So happy with the first purchase that we didn’t even consider going anywhere else. Betty has been top notch to work with.

We just bought a couch and loveseat set and we couldn't be happier. The set is beautiful! I was most impressed when the furniture was delivered to my home. One of the items was unfortunately wrong. It was going to be another 3 days before the contracted delivery company could make it back out to delivery the right item, (we live in Stevens Pass). Upon hearing that, Scan Design took it upon themselves to deliver the corrected item in their own company van and got it delivered to my home the very next day. I was impressed with the customer service when making the purchase but this definitely showed a company that goes above and beyond. I absolutely love the style of their furniture and will only be purchasing from them in the future.

The salespeople were so nice and welcoming. They were very knowledgeable about the furniture. Our experience at Scan Design was 5 star. I would definitely return to make another purchase from Elizabeth!!

We just got our new sideboard delivered and I am so happy! The Sales staff at the store was great - never pushy but super helpful while still allowing us to browse freely. We bought a Skovby sideboard and were told 6-8 weeks. I did have to follow up after 8 weeks but got a super prompt reply and explanation for why it was late (supply chain issues, which shouldn’t surprise anyone in this day and age). Scheduling the delivery was a breeze and the guys who delivered were so nice and did a great job. Overall we are really pleased with our experience and will likely shop there again!

We've had excellent experiences at Scan Design Furniture! We purchased 3 items, and we are extremely happy with the staff and the furniture. Peter and Noah are professional and helpful. They didn't hesitate to replace the glass table top with another that my wife liked more.

I bought an expensive piece of sectional Italian sofa from scan design. Later when I had some issues with the sofa, they exchanged it for me with a new one. Great customer service!!!

We bought a set leather motorized couch and chair. From the Lynwood washington location. They were suppose to be ok on carpet. But after a month the couch had sunk into the carpet. Turns out the legs were not right for carpet. We contacted the owner and he rectified the situation by ordering the right set with the right legs. It took a long time because like everyone else there is a shortage of stock. These are Imported from Italy so we completely understand. We want to thank the owner for helping us rectify the issue. Thank You!

Noah was very knowledgeable and capable in answering my questions about the recliner that I was interested in.

My wife and I went to Scan Design looking for some furniture for our new house. We liked what we saw and the sales people ( Noah) were very helpful and not pushy. We bought a sofa, dinning table and chairs, server and a china hutch and some bar stools. It took a while to get everything together ( we are still waiting for our bar stools ) but we understand, supply chain issues. And it was ok anyways because our house was no finished yet. Noah setup our delivery, we moved out of state, the delivery was on time and with good communication. No damage to any of our pieces, we are very happy with our purchase. The furniture looks great in our new house, and the quality is also very good. We would recommend anybody looking for new , quality furniture to go to Scan Design. I'm glad we did.

We spent a few weeks looking for our first piece of furniture for our new home - given that at some price point, it's really a long-term investment. We worked with OLIVER who was very accommodating, knew the specifications such as foam density for things we were looking at, tracked down inventory and estimated deliveries, and was not pushy at all which was great. He sent us home with plenty of information and colors to make sure we were picking the best style and color to match our home.

We we're very comfortable working with him.

Now, our sectional arrived as promised a week after purchasing and we noticed there was some foam compressed - which we found out was due to it being in a cargo container for months and stacked on top of each other... these things happen.

We we're concerned since we just spent what we consider to be a significant amount. We worked with the manager BRIANNA(BRIANNE?) and MARTY who informed us that the foam 'should' eventually recover after it gets to breath for about 6-8 weeks. But rather than chance that, she quickly offered to replace it since it was in their inventory. They showed me the same piece in the back to let me have a chance to inspect it, the store owner greeted us to personally explain how these things can happen, and then they arranged for it to be delivered/replaced in a few days.

I am personally still very uncomfortable spending several thousands on furniture... but this has been a great customer-service oriented experience @Scan Design and I can see what my money is getting me here. We are eyeing our next purchases with this team!

Our new recliner chairs arrived today to replace the ones we bought from Scan Design more than twenty years ago. While we hated to say goodbye to our old comfy chairs, we are happy to have our new additions. Our salesman, Porter Prestwich, was terrific in that he knew about all of the recliner options, gave my wife and me his full attention, was able to process the sale paperwork quickly and correctly, and kept in touch throughout from sale to delivery. Plus, he was highly professional, yet friendly. Two thumbs up! Also, the delivery guys, Aaron and his partner, were on time and in-touch during the afternoon delivery time slot, and were more than careful both in the delivery of our new chairs and the removal of our old ones for haul-away. I visited Seattle a month ago and had a chance to stop by at this store after visiting a friend’s house over there who has multiple of their pieces and the furniture is beautiful and very high quality. The store experience didn’t disappoint as well. The owners happened to be there and I was able to find out more about the furniture and the store. Great store, excellent customer service with worth the visit products. Definitely recommend it!

Great Service, Laura Kenny came through! In the last 20 years we’ve bought a few nice pieces at Scan Design in Lynnwood. Recently, one of the two electric recliners we bought six years ago stopped responding to the control, freezing the chair in a fixed position. Laura helped us resolve the problem. Based on my testing of the current flow and switch sounds, she advised that the switch needed to be replaced. She contacted the manufacturer and provided me with the repair instructions (which weren’t on the internet), parts costs and shipping estimates. The chair is back in operation, and now we’re tempted to upgrade a few more pieces of furniture.
