Unfortunately over the years I’ve had to use Callaghans services for several family members. Both funeral services and cremations. Every time they’ve been professional but caring. They’ve made the process as easy as they could and guided me through every step. They’ve been kind and sensitive to the whole family. I can’t imagine using any other funeral parlor

I guess as far as funeral homes go pretty standard layout. Leaches sapping money from the grieving every chance possible. As if losing your brother at age 30 isn't enough, you're now in debt for 20k. If my family sees this ! Please burn me please don't go into debt for this !

Standard cemetery

We overpaid by $50.00, and never received a call back from the accounting department. When I asked for a table to be set up in a reception area for hot beverages for guests, I was assured that would be provided for on the day of the funeral. However, on the day of the funeral, no table was in sight. In the last minute I was told no food and drinks on premise. It was a frigidly cold morning and they told us and our guest to go outside for our hot drinks. Some of our guests drove long distances for the early morning funeral, and we had no place to set out warm beverages for them.

They perform a much needed service and will remind you of it repeatedly

We were treated so poorly that we moved our loved-one to a different morruary. We were never given any condences whatsoever. The phone conversation only centered on money and the pre-paid policy our loved-one had would not cover the services. We had to insist on an appointment. The person we were dealing with wanted to do everything over the phone. We could never get any estimates and had to ask for a price list, which was emailed to us. Their prices are not posted on their website. Price lists are available on orher mortuary websites. Their prices are about 50% higher than those in Solano County, which is where we ended up at no additional cost. The pre-paid policy was enough to take care of all expenses.
I would NOT recommend this Mortuary.
