Palisades Park

Palisades Park is a must see. It overlooks Santa Monica Beach and has beautiful plants and trees. Breathe the fresh ocean air and enjoy a few peaceful moments. It is one of the few places I found in the LA area that is free. Great place to stop on your way to LAX.

Whenever I have showings in the area I like to stop by and take a 15 minute walk along the bluffs. It’s a great place to soak up some sun with fresh air and the nice sea breeze. The views are nice. Before moving to the Southbay I would jog along here and also come for the awesome sunsets quite often.

This park quickly became a favorite for me to get a quick and beautiful morning jog in since moving to Los Angeles in August. Its so well maintained, safe, and offers picturesque views of the ocean the whole way. I just love it!!

Great place to wonder around. Hood facilities. Parking costs are reasonable

A great place to walk, people watch, and enjoy the sunset. The parking wasn't bad, easy to find a space and not too expensive on a Friday afternoon.

It's a beautiful stretch of grass and walking area with amazing views of the ocean and PCH. Parking isn't easy, but if you're persistent and patient you'll eventually find a spot.

It's a nice park it was fun watching the squirrels play. I was able to get up really close to them like a ninja to get some good pictures.

Also, it was nice to relax at night time by some of the bars across the street to listen to the awesome music and enjoy the crowds socializing with one another.

The park has benches all along it, considering how narrow the park is. There are plenty of paths for walkers and bicyclists alike.

Beautiful view, great walking areas, separate for bikes and pedestrians which is a big plus. Very clean and calm. Looks safe too. Not too many people out when I came as the weather was a bit chilly.

gorgeous place, please keep it clean. one thing nice about the park is that it only averages about 1 camped out schizophrenic per block once you get north of California unlike most of the other parks in Santa Monica

The beach is so beautiful the breeze was nice and this is def a good place to just go on a nice walk or bike ride a sunny day

I have been coming to this park for over 50 years. Great view of the ocean to watch the Santa Monica Pier. With a stretch of a view from the coast of Malibu to even seeing Catalina Island, and all of the South Bay. One of my favorite places to hangout and chill.

Palisades Park is absolutely beautiful! Very safe, clean, family friendly and walking distance to the beach. Free parking on the street, clean bathrooms and picnic tables. Sometimes food vans are present. Great space for family events. Be safe and see you there. Blessings.

Nice area to go walking or sit and look at the view. Had a very nice time on our visit. Usually parking is a bit harder to get but due to weather being overcast and it was just after sunset, there was paid metered parking available. I believe it's 9-6pm metered parking, but I'm certain metered parking was weekdays AND also included weekends.

Love this part of Santa Monica Beach, usually busy but I haven't had problems finding parking! Many people in the park not crowded, everyone minding their own business. Would recommend you go out to do your day to day activities, for me totally worth the drive!
