Best dental practice in the Bay Area! My family and I have been coming here for years now and every time we come it’s always a pleasure. Hughes dental is like no other, from when you walk in the front door the friendly staff greets you with warmth. The waiting room is always clean and well kept. The dental chairs and equipment is always clean and well maintained. They even go above and beyond by have air purifiers in each room to ensure air circulation. My doctor(Dr. Marks) is an saint. He is always so happy and friendly, he takes the time to explain everything that he will be doing during the visit. His assistants also are so sweet, they always check in to make sure I’m never in any pain or discomfort. This is the best, most honest dental office! I recommend hughes dental to all my friends and family!

Dr. Mark's has been our dentist for over twenty years and we have always been thankful for his expertise. Many of our friends have become patients of his because we highly recommend him. The office staff is especially friendly and accommodating. Rosie, Dr.Mark's assistant, is so knowledgeable and kind that it's truly a pleasant experience to go to the dentist!

Our family has been going here for over 30 years. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Dentists and hygienists are thorough while being gentle and always explaining what they’re doing. They never try to “sell” you care that is not needed which is so admirable and appreciated. We highly recommend this dental group.

I have had a uniformly good experience with Hughes dental over the decades I have been going there. Everyone is positive and friendly. Over the years they have cared for my teeth and coached me in my self care. My teeth look and feel great because of this.

Dr Marks is our dentist and we highly recommend him. His entire team is knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Marks has great bedside manner, excellent work ethics. We appreciate that he explains your condition thoroughly, and is patient in answering your questions. You never feel upsold on extra services that you might not need.

Had a cap come off a front tooth and Dr. Hughes was kind enough to squeeze me in on the same day. The staff was all so kind, helpful, friendly and professional. Dr. Hughes and his Assistant made me feel at ease while Dr. Hughes reattached my crown. I can’t say enough good things about my experience. They’re great! Thank you again!!!

Dr. Marks is kind and considerate, especially knowing you have had negative experiences in the past. His staff is professional and thorough. I also like that Dr. Marks is honest and doesn’t jump at the first opportunity to recommend dental work that doesn’t necessarily need to done.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else in the South Bay Area than Hughes Dental for my dentistry needs. Super facility. The hygienists are personable and professional. Dr. Hughes is a wonderful dentist. My teeth and gums have never been healthier.

Dr Marks and his staff are an amazing group. They keep you calm-never alarming, are very personable and always work with you for the best solutions. I do not get that scared feeling when I need to go in because I know they will take excellent care of me and my family in the most gentle way possible.

Of all the dentists I’ve gone to, this one would be the best One. They’re Quick, easy, they get down to what’s needed, and work on what you want. The staff are very friendly, I can’t ask for a better dentist. Unfortunately they’re behind buildings, and hard to spot unless you directly look them up, but I’m not complaining, more work they can do for me. I highly recommend going there and getting everything you need done there. Thanks staff!!!

Dr. Hughes is awesome and dental hygienists are all wonderful. Conservative dentistry - won’t fix it if it’s not broken or will try basic procedures to fix issues before jumping to costly root canals (unlike other dentists I’ve seen in the past). All my kids come here as well (14, 6 and 3) and always have a positive experience. Billing and front desk staff are also very nice. Can’t recommend enough.

Our entire family has been going to Hughes Dental for many years. We specifically moved from a dentist who over prescribed - every time we went in for a cleaning the doctor would recommend replacing something that wasn't broken saying, "it's just a matter of time". When we moved to Hughes dental, we specifically asked their philosophy on prescribing treatments and the doctor said "if it's not broken don't fix it". In the 10 years we've been going to the office this philosophy has held true. All of the staff have always been courteous, knowledgeable and their prices are VERY reasonable. Also, much of the office staff, hygienists, dental assistants and dentists have been working at Hughes for many years (10+ and more). I see this as a sign of a well run organization. We are very happy! Keep up the good work Hughes Dental!

I’ve been a patient of Hughes Dental for almost 30 years. During that time, I have found their hygienists to be very, very good, the dentists to be skilled, knowledgeable, and thorough, and the office staff to be supportive and accommodating.

My crown for an implant fell off while brushing my teeth over the weekend and I called Monday morning for an appointment to glue the crown back on my implant and I got an appointment on the same day. Dr Mark and Rosie were so professional and they put me at ease every single time I needed work done on my teeth.

So glad I found Dr Hughes after my previous dentist of 30+ years retired!!! Friendly helpful staff in all areas of the office. Dr. Hughes listens carefully to patient questions and is very thorough in explaining treatment options!

Prices are reasonable and they do good job.
No hard sells for things you do not need.
They treat you like family and respect. Been going to Hughes dental group since the early 80's and I must say I have never been disappointed with there service.

Dr Badani and Bobby (Dr Badani’s assistant) had world class bedside demeanor while working on my surgery. They have a fantastic rapport that immediately puts the patient at ease especially as mine was a 2.5 hr long gum surgery. They are extremely thorough with their instructions pre and post surgery. They definitely made “going to the dentist” a completely fun affair!

Had a tricky extraction last week by Tom Hughes..I was driven in our worst storm yet by my grandson and husband from Santa Cruz... they were treated wonderfully as they waited and so was I as I paid the bill ... Many thanks to Tom Hughes and his staff..Charlotte Gaidos..

This review is specifically for Dr. Saumya Ram. She is fabulous, took extra time with me, more than any other Dentist has. Honest, knowledgeable, and professional, I will be going back shortly. The entire office is practicing all of the proper measures during the COVID-19 pandemic as well, I was very impressed by this. I give my utmost recommendation and endorsement of this establishment.
