Our friends in Bay area suggested this place and it’s absolutely worth visiting. This place has the best mango bubble tea. It was so refreshing and felt like summer on a tall cup. The caramel bubble tea was average when compared to mango flavour. The service was quick and the ambience was decent. I would recommend the silky mango bubble tea here.

Superb bakery. Sublime cakes. Fresh bread. Fresh hong kong milk tea.

Sublime egg tarts. Ahh, the pork buns.

Wonderful service. Clean store. Brightly lit. Great to sit and enjoy a cafe atmosphere with fresh smells and a trendy vibe.

This place not only has a gorgeous entrance, but the menu is super easy to follow. The Macarons taste perfect and bring me my favorite memories. I had the rose oolong tea, hot. It was perfectly ratioed and the temperature was perfect. I'm so glad there's a non-dairy cream option.

The very best Boba smoothie I have ever had. The Completely contact less pay system is innovative but also a tad inconvenient for non techie people who don't understand QR codes. Super long wait but totally worth it. The presentation, flavor and cup was perfect.

Got the silky mango 🥭 (left) and taro lover (right)! So gooooood!the silky mango tasted like the nectar of the gods 😋 i got it with honey boba and oat milk! Highly recommended 👌 got the taro lover hot and was a good decision 😊

I personally love this spot. The lavender fizz was amazing (please bring this back) and the strawberry velvet is also really good. I like that their drink selection isn't like every other place. With that being said, I wouldn't come here if you're looking for "milk tea" type drinks.

Desserts are worth trying.

If you love Jasmine Milk Tea like I do, this place makes one of the best! What I love is that you can actually taste the Jasmine flavor. Other places just taste like Milk and sugar with the tiniest hint, but Teaspoon created the perfect balance.
My family also love their caramel cream with extra syrup & Taro milk teas also!

Yaaaaas. Might I just say, this place is great! the lines are long at times but it's worth the wait!! They sell fresh teas and juices, along with their signature snows. They are all mad in house so the flavors are always on point. Kyle favorite is the tropical snow. They do have a few non dairy options and that is much appreciated. The staff are nice and quick to answer any and all of your questions. they have a nice seating area in the back

Drinks are great loving the no cash order app vibe. Lines are crazy but the staff seems to be doing their best. Try to be patient during peak times. Avoid the donuts at the end of the night tastes kind of old.

Love the Virgin mojito with lychee and the grasshopper drink. Really refreshing and great tea flavors

Delicious. Oh, and the cleanest bathroom you'll find at any boba place, lol. Service is meh, but truly the best place for "Asian tea" in downtown San Mateo. Everything I've tried here has been good, but the mango drinks are probably my favorite.

Love this place, even if its a bit pricer than some other tea shops, and they seem to only have one size cups, which are also on the smaller side than other tea shops, as well. However, they have a great selection of a variety of add-ins and they are open late.

Tired of sickly sweet tea drinks with subpar teas? This has quickly become my FAVORITE Asian Tea Shop because it is the polar opposite of almost every other boba drink shop. The tea is very high quality and they have a whole menu on innovative, interesting, tasty and well crafted drinks. This is a stop on every trip to downtown San Mateo!

I'm really becoming a fan of this type of snow. I brought my kids and they liked it too. We got the Husky Sundae, the Piña Colada and the California snow. They were all delicious. I will be coming back to try more.

Although San Mateo already has a plethora of boba tea shops, I was excited to see Teaspoon open here. They recently opened where Sharona's Chocolate Shop used to be. They have great tea and topping options. They also have snow ice, which I haven't tried yet.

One of the very best boba I have had. Wish there was one closer to Berkeley. Enjoyed the mango flavored drink. Will be coming again.

Obviously 📸, you know how we, nurses and respiratory therapists celebrate, even for just a moment in the unit, when we are seeing some improvements in those we care for, and unit/staff safety are in place. Thanks Tony at Teaspoon San Mateo for the amazing, clean and healthy tea/boba drinks.

Honestly, I’ve have tried so many boba drinks in the recent years, and I have to share that Teaspoon’s Teas and Boba drinks are some of the healthiest, cleanest, and most refreshing that I have tasted.

Thank you again Tony for also donating to our ICU staff with your amazing boba teas drinks. We are soooo grateful and our palettes and bellies are satisfied.
