Heartbeat Cafe

I adore this cafe. The ambiance is beautiful and I’ve ordered their savory crepes with extra sauce. What really makes it, is the service. The woman that has served me radiates sunshine. She seems very happy to work here and it makes my day. I think her name is Lana.

This is a cute little cafe hidden in a little strip mall. It took me a few minutes to find it after parking. There is plenty of parking . The woman serving me and I chatted about our Polish heritage which was nice and unexpected.

I had a tasty tomato cheese panini at her suggestion as I was looking for something vegetarian.

Lots of fun objects to look at while you eat. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Came for a coffee and enjoyed every sip of it. The owner was amicable and quick service. Lots of pastries to choose from and all around very affordable. The chai latte was absolutely delicious.

The ambiance is fantastic inside and out, and the outdoor seating has shaded umbrellas! Ample parking and easy to find.

A delightful locally owned coffee shop! The crepes are to die for; these were probably the best savory crepes I've ever had! I fully expect to dream about them tonight.
The coffee was excellent as well, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and full of treasures and antique coffee grinders. Heartbeat Cafe is a must if you're in San Jose!

Cozy little spot for sure. Indoor/outdoor seating, knickknacks you can look at while waiting for your order. This was recommended since I work right down the street. Very nice staff, and the coffee is pretty tasty. Served on a real plate and a glass does bring it more elevated feel all for $14.75. I recommend for sure.

Lovely cafe with a full menu of espresso and coffee drinks, sandwiches, and pastries. The staff is very friendly and the shop decor is cozy and welcoming. It is filled with a wonderful collection of artistically crafted coffee grinding machines and tableware.

I go here every weekend for coffee and soup. Amazing on all levels, friendly service, cozy enviornment, excellent con panna, and love the soups.

Great locally owned cafe with good coffee! I have been coming here 15 years. Try the egg salad, ham panini, and lemonade, yum. Smoothies are also fabulous.

Beautiful coffee shop, we enjoy the whole morning there. Host is very friendly and nice coffee.

Wonderful people, great food, step back in time with the decor. There is a healthy menu to partner with the sweets. The chia pudding breakfast is a healthy and tasty treat- highly recommend. The owner is extremely nice and she’s there often.

Our favorite place. My family spends part of Saturday here. It is some sort of tradition already :) Indeed, you can relax in cozy environment and with soft music here.

Wonderful food, crepes, paninis with other regular coffee house drinks. This place makes a great Chai & my favorite vanilla Latte. 😋 Worth stopping in for a snack, lunch or your daily grind~ ☕

LOVE this cafe, sandwich’s are terrific and the soups are the best I’ve ever had…especially the pea soup. The proprietors make you feel like you are a guest in their home. My favorite….

Oat milk traditional macchiato + slice of carrot cake. My god.

In short, this cafe has it all: friendly owners, fresh and delicious food (especially the panini), lovely location and interior decor, and especially in these times of covid-19, plenty of precautions taken to ensure customer safety.

I'll make it a point to come here at least weekly as it is near my new employer's office location. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.

Genuine personal service. The crepes were good, including the fresh strawberry ones because they were hot all the way through. A lot of times when I order crepes with fresh fruit the crepes come out cold because the fruit is cold. These crepes were hot all the way through and the fruit was still fresh so they were soft, chewy, and delicious.
