When I first came to Carpinteria, I found the home town, small town attitude of Murphy King Real Estate really helpful. They were very clear in our conversations and quite friendly.
When I went in recently with a friend who needed a rental, it looked like the staff was the same as fifteen years ago.
They were helpful, efficient and treated my friend very well. That made me the hero for making the introduction.

So far so good. I'm still in the beginning stages of finding a place through Murphy King Real Estate in Carp. I filled out my application and had to pay a 25$ app fee per person, me and my girl friend. They were polite over the phone and seemed to have things together when I dropped in their office. So we'll see if they can follow through with assisting me on my apartment hunt. I will update you with how my experience goes once it's all said and done.

Not impressed

My elderly mother has had a complete disaster working with Debbie Murphy. This lady is manipulative and disingenuous. I believe she has broken real estate rules and taken a large fee without providing her service. I am suggesting that this be taken up with the California Board of Realtors.

Murphy King is the most unprofessional Real Estate Company I have ever dealt with. Customer Service for their clients is a horrible experience. I relate the whole experience with them like chewing tin foil!
