This park is great for people of all ages. The large wooden structure playground is so much fun for children. There are many beautiful gardens and a duck pond. The paths are easy to walk and it is just a very enjoyable experience. There are green patches where are you can stretch out and have a picnic and watch the money pollinators landing on the flowers. I highly recommend this for a stop, especially if you have children that need to get out some energy.

Alice Keck Memorial Park is beautiful and well maintained. It has lots of curvy walkways, beautiful plants and trees, some of which predated the construction of the park, and a stream and pond. The stream and the pond are artificial, but the ducks and the turtles don't seem to care. If you come to Santa Barbara, you should visit this park.

What a pleasant area to spend some time in nature. I was strolling from downtown to the mission (about 2 miles one way) and Google took me through this park. Cute pond and paths to take all over the park. I sat and enjoyed the shade next to a deeply rooted old tree. The vibe was very chill and people were friendly, many playing with their dogs. I'm glad I was able to experience it. 😌

My absolute favorite park. I’ve loved going here ever since I was little and I even took my prom pictures here recently. A magical place.

This park is located in a 2 block area of Santa Barbara off of Santa Barbara St. Beautiful grounds, walking paths, pond area with ducks/turtles, and grass areas.

Wooden park benches placed throughout for sitting/resting convenience. Street parking for access to park available, no parking lot or public restrooms at this location.
Very peaceful setting, where you can stroll throughout the park and admire the trees and garden areas.

Quaint little park. Inviting scenery. Has a babbling brook feeding into a small pond. Mature trees provide plenty of shade to cover the afternoon sun. The breeze knock off the leaves, then gently float down to the ground. Unfortunately, city traffic, horns hi king and trains passing remind you of how close city life is. However, the park is well kept and is a great place to relax. This is a great place for a BBQ or outdoor festivities.

Finding a parking spot can be a challenge, especially on the weekend.

One of the most beautiful places i have ever stumbled across. My daughter and I were looking for our hotel when we saw the park. Decided to stop and was so glad we did. Simply amazing!!

This is my favorite park in Santa Barbara for a few reasons. 1. Sea turtles. There are many little sea turtles in the pond you can see sun bathing and swimming on rocks throughout the day. 2. Gazebos and grassy knolls. There are a few interesting gazebo structures to stay shaded and cool while watching the animals here. 3. Plant variety. There's a huge variety of old massive trees and unusual florals. Many of the plants have labels on a plant map here because the plant variety was a big intentional draw for the park. 4. Quiet. Despite being so large and interesting, the park is generally pretty quiet and not busy making it a great option during covid.

Beautiful gardens and walking paths to stroll through in the downtown area. Some parts of the garden fully accessable to wheelchairs and other equipment/needs but there are some steps/paths that are a little more narrow or just stepping stones. A great place for little ones to explore and learn how to respect nature.

A urban green spot for walking your dog, relaxing by the pond, watching the ducks, and meeting family and friends. Parking is limited, so READ THE SIGNS CAREFULLY! The street cleaning times are very, carefully monitored.

A beautiful and peaceful place, well suited for a grassy picnic, a quiet stroll, or reading on a bench. Plenty of lovely flora to discover and the ducks and turtles are greatly entertaining.

This was a great place for a picnic! Our toddler loved the turtle pond - there's so many of them! The gardens are beautiful and there's so many places to sit and relax. Wish we had allowed more time for this!

Great park with lots of trees and a pond. Very few vagrants which is a nice change for Santa Barbara. We had a wedding there for $500.

Awesome place to hang out with friends, kids, or pets! (On leash, though) The ducks are really cute and the park is just wonderful. It’s right by Kids World, (which in my opinion is just about the coolest playground in SB) so it’s easy access between a beautiful park and a kids playground. Beautiful views and some pretty places for pictures.
