Nirvana Soul Coffee

The lavender latte was perfect. Creamy and delicious. The atmosphere was very hip and vibey with all the different colors and paintings. The ham and cheese quiche that I had was pretty decent as well.

Nirvana Soul is a great coffee place with a history. It used to be a location of an old Italian coffee shop, which used to have comedy shows and other types of shows on some of the evenings. They went out of business but wasn't required by the new owners who have built a beautiful and ethics location in downtown San Jose. Beautiful art and generally nice decoration. They have continued the tradition of different shows in the evening and the beautiful layout here makes it interesting place to hang out and work for area with a beautiful view of the downstairs. They recently are expanding to even more locations and I am very happy for them. I recommend this place especially when you are in the downtown area.

This place deserves all stars! Starting from the friendly staff to the nice ambience, and most importantly the ethics of this place! The humanitarian causes they support 🤍 100 stars for that! I’d definitely come back!

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Nirvana Soul! The golden waffle was a heavenly treat - perfectly crisp on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside. It was like a bite of pure sunshine! The cold brew was just the refreshing touch I needed. The ambiance was serene and the staff were incredibly welcoming. I can't wait to return for another taste of this culinary nirvana!

It's a fun and pleasant coffee shop that was pretty full on a late Friday morning with people enjoying their drinks or working/meeting. They also have some outdoor seating, which is nice. I got a croissant and their Honey Lavender Latte and it was perfectly not too sweet, with not-too-much, not-too-little lavender. I'm excited to try more of their drinks next time (they have a number of tea lattes and specialty coffee drinks in addition to the usuals). I'll nitpick just a little bit: they assumed that I'd want my croissant warmed (I didn't) and it ended up on the greasy side. Next time I'll specify in advance.

This Cafe has a hip vibe, many different tasty and eclectic coffee beverages. The Chagaccino, Dirty Diana are very tasty. Fun place to read and visit. Parking can be a little challenging.

MUST VISIT Amazing little coffee shop!!! My iced vanilla latte was so good, and the sweet potato pie was DELICIOUS!!!! OMG SO GOOD! Always great music playing! I'm a flight attendant and always come here over starbucks and I bring my crew and get them hooked on this fantastic coffee shop!!!

Hippest coffeehouse around. Enjoyed an oat cortado and a fluffy golden waffle while hanging out in the loft.

Excellent Cafe with sidewalk seating under awnings and next to flower planters. Located in South First St 9entertainment district. Inside seating, mostly in a half-loft above the counter area. Great decor, layout, atmosphere.

Oh my! cute, cozy and friendly place. Got a Honey lavendar latte, was too sweet for me. There is a also a loft area so nice to sit and relax

You need to go here yourself to fully experience the energy of Nirvana Soul. It’s located just off the train station in gorgeous downtown San Jose. Walking distance from SAP Center, Performing Arts and Museum of Art. Close to many hotels and restaurants as well.

You’ll be greeted by a energetic staff of coffee purveyors. The prices are reasonable. They also have light tasty food options as well. My favorites are the waffles and croissants. Waffles are made to order. I normally get a regular mocha. It’s very strong and keeps me going all day long.

Great energy and environment to get some work done and get some good coffee. The barista made me what I asked, but also provided me a sample of one of their menu options and wow it was soooo yummy! I saw a developed community around me while I worked and again wow, just made me so happy. :)

Great beverages, cool place. Music is perfect for getting some work done on laptop, loud enough that your conversation is semi-private, but maybe plan on having any phone/video chats outside. I ordered the Lover's Quarrel, and it was awesome!

Place is amazing, staff is awesome. Love the tea and coffee selections. Really creative drinks as well! Everything from healthy to indulgent, great vibes, definitely check it out!

This place is DOPE! I love it! You know the feeling you get when walk into a culturally rich environment, yeah, it's like that. First thing that hits you is the glorious smell of waffles, coffee, sweet decadent spices and caramel; just deliciousness! The sounds of hip hop, R&B, and ethnic soul radiating the radio; along with the breath taking art all around you, I felt like I was spinning in the midst of history being made. I hope to see more Nirvana Souls up and down the bay. Looking forward to my next trip. This time, I had a golden waffle, with an iced cafe latte; absolutely devine! I hope to see you next time; definitely worth the line.

My all time favorite local coffee shop. All the food and drinks are excellent. Tons of variety and something for everyone that you won’t find at every coffee shop, but still has plenty of delicious classics. The staff are all incredibly nice and the ambience is wonderful. Plenty of cool art on display as well. If you go the waffle and cinnamon rolls are great.

A beautiful coffee shop with great coffee. Their espresso, traditional macchiato and iced mocha were delicious. They have other items on their drink menu for those who don’t necessarily want coffee upfront. I tried their chorizo and cheese waffle and it was savory and very tasty! Definitely recommend. The atmosphere is upbeat and just exploding with color. Amazing artwork celebrating and showcasing POC. Check it out!

Fantastic, hip cafe with great coffee. House-made syrups are amazing. The best place to get coffee imo if you're staying nearby! Love that it's Black-owned as well.
