Doerr Park

Great park to walk dogs, play tennis or pickleball, picnic, bbq, or watch your kids have fun in the playground! There's also a community pool on the premises which is open only in summer months, but I think you need to be a member of the neighborhood and pay a fee for its use.

First time visiting this park from Out of town. Beautiful lovely park for all ages. Full of little kids and older kids playground structures. The slides are fast and fun. The ground is clean and lots of wide open space to run around. Highly recommended.

Great neighborhood park with playground for older and younger kids. Picnic tables and public bathrooms are available. There is a large green area to lay down as well. Small but has everything for afternoon playtime.

Best park/playground around. Lots of great equipment for both older and younger kids. This park has great "ninja warrior" type skill training equipment, perfect for 4+ fun, training, and parkour (large playground has soft foam ground). Also smaller, toddler playground, semi fenced, with fun activities (tan-bark ground covering).
Picnic tables with shade covering, huge grass areas, basketball court, bike riding sidewalks.

Awesome local park! The new-ish tower two story play structure was a hit with my 4 yr old. They have a lot of new equipment with friction walls for climbing and balancing, I haven’t seen that in any other San Jose parks. Plenty of areas to sit and the bathrooms were clean and stocked on the weekend. 5 stars for the retro steel slides!

The park is divided in two sections. One is for under 5 years old and the second above 5. There is restroom and a lots of green area. Many places to hold parties. Some parts are under shade but most is direct sun. Many trees that help during heavy sun day. No sand pit, no water structure.

Great park with modern and new playground suitable for wide range of children ages. My kids love it.

Loved it major space good playground and lot of tables for 🥳 party set up obstacles and had a nerf war with all the feild space .

One of our favorite SJ parks. The tall slides are lots of fun. Other kids are good most of the time. Got pretty busy post-pandemic but still fun.

I like this place beautiful views of the nature safe for kids and Various play grounds.

This park is great! Children love the slides and muddy puddle. There is some shade during daytime.

Quiet little park. Great for families

It’s a fun filled and wide open park with everything a child and even teenagers would want to play on. The equipment is safe and fairly shared between everyone. Personally, I like the swings because they remind me of my childhood. It’s definitely a family safe space waiting for all whom are interested.

Love the renovations done a few years ago to add the larger big kids playground. The little kids playground is still nice a d they even replaced the broken slide so you know the city is taking care of the park. With a baseball field and basketball courts, there's lots to do. Only downside is that sometimes there is a mess from a birthday party since it's a popular spot for that.
