Pretty cool place you should check out in Seattle as this is the headquarters of one of the largest tech companies in the world. It’s free to come in too which is nice. There is a store with Microsoft products, Windows copies, and merch. Also there is an exhibit of the company history. Definitely worth visiting if you love using Microsoft software! I have Windows 11 on all my PCs and I love it!

It is one of my favorite tech spots in Redmond. The visitor center is free to enter, and it is easy to recognize since it is next to the giant Microsoft word. I learned many things about the early day of Microsoft, its old and current products, and how Microsoft has partnered and helped the world in different aspects. Looking back on my journey, I hope someday I will be a Microsoft employee. Again, I highly recommend this place to anyone

There was interesting information about new buildings that will be opened in 2025, old technologies and some new features. Interactive screens and people working there. Visitors can spend their time by playing with Xbox consoles, Minecrsft and Forza Horizons 5. Also you will find some fact about founders of the company as well as milestones from 1975.
There is a free parking lot next to the building. Our visit was about 2 hours with our two kids.
Microsoft store is next to visitor center.

The interactive Visitor center and museum is officially open!

It is so cool to see what Microsoft has done over the years, and what the technology is being used for right now.

Plus, there's a gaming station where you can play all the games!!!

So there is a Microsoft Store at this location now so there is a fair bit to do.

I got to try the hololens as well as a while bunch of other Microsoft products.

The store has a good assortment of Microsoft themed clothing and other promo type items. It is a bit pricey bit reasonable.

The visitor center has a bunch of different exhibits but is a bit bare. There is room to grow so hopefully they keep adding to it.

Interesting old artifacts to see and many things you can buy. Bought 2 headphones at a discount. The laptops are so cool too. Unfortunately they are out of stock.

Anyone can visit the visitor center anytime. They have parking available for visitors although this can be a challenge if you visit during busy hours. The visitor center involves a display of most of their products. My favourite part was the store that had branded items. You need to dedicate at least 2 hours if you want to test and use most of their products and still shop at the store the lines can be long. Make sure you carry an ID or a passport it is required upon entry.

Great visitor centre, shop and café. The kids really loved the Minecraft and Xbox stations. The Museum part could do with a few more things for the grown-ups like an interview of Bill Gates explaining the story of Microsoft in his own words would be great. Still free visitor centre with free parking too...Worth a visit.
