Maryann is a wonderful person. She has owned Skin Prophecy Boutique for 15 plus years. Maryann provides amazing service and support to the community of Saratoga. I have been in her store where people have shared with me that they travel a great distance to visit her unique boutique. Maryann thank you for providing us with a fun place to shop and for your service to our community.

Extremely racist experience. I went into this store for the first time today. I had recently just moved to Los Gatos and was excited to see the stores in Saratoga. I introduced myself to the woman that runs the store explaining that I had just moved here. She immediately went into a rant that too many people from third world countries are ruining Saratoga. She went on and on about how they don't speak English, don't know how to drive and "clog up the freeways." I was extremely uncomfortable. I do look ethnic as I am half Italian and half Native American. I said, "I'm uncomfortable and leaving. Have a nice day." As I was walking out, I overheard the woman say, "Good." I am very saddened that this woman was one of my first experiences of Saratoga. It is completely unprofessional and unnecessary for her to so blatantly express her ideas that are clearly meant to be hurtful. I truly hope that one day she allows herself to appreciate all cultures. I strongly urge the Saratoga community to not allow a person like this to represent the community. Her store is at a place that most tourists would visit. Very disappointed... I have read her other reviews on Yelp and sadly, I am not the first person she has done this to.
