Hair Galleria

This is my first time here. Came for a haircut and balayage. Naya did a great job with the color and cut. Looked similar to the reference picture I provided. I found the service to be reasonably priced and I liked the placement of each counter in the space with big mirror(s). Everyone seemed to be friendly and nice to their clients.

I went for balayage but then I decided to just dye my hair and trim it a little bit. “Nayyereh joon” worked on my hair, and I was so satisfied not only for her job on my hair, but also because of her nice and peaceful manner. I go back there again to have her dye and cut my hair.

TLDR;!

Don't get swindled elsewhere when you can get hooked up proper by going to hair galleria instead!
You can thank me later!

FYI-

Photos are progressive... Starting, to the first terrible "bayilage" to a week and a half after first "bayilage" fix it attempt to the results (had to add some makeup... Yikes lol).

So now you can see how bad they messed my hair up and how great hair galleria made it in spite of the other salons screwups!!!

Extended Review-

They are so patient with me and my requests. I'll come in with a vision and the worst explanation ever & leave looking amazing even when it's not what I pictured in my head.

Seriously, I am so lucky photos and google itself exists as I'm sure I'd be the first murder victim of these awesome hairdressers after the third appointment... I think I can be seen as a difficult customer but I promise it's not intentional I just don't know how to explain things well yet 😂

Even the last time I went and I left a bit disappointed... It was only for a second! Once I got outside and could really see it... Wow! Just gorgeous coloring! So pleasantly surprised and totally ecstatic! She hooked me up for sure!

I went through two disaster stylists before coming back here just to get fixed up. I moved out of state and had to try to find something local obviously. Big mistake. When you find a good salon, you stay with it! Even out of state! 😂

Or you end up like me... where the new stylists butcher your hair, in style, length and color! Didn't even do a simple layer and low lights (as requested). I left looking like I had a bad full on brown (not red) die job 12 weeks prior.... Right out of the salon!!!! Had so many bad comments about my roots the same day!!! Worst experience ever!

So I'm even more grateful that they were able to help me and fix me up after all that! They got me in super quick, I had the place nearly to myself and had an awesome stylist who actually listened and spent the extra time needed to fully fix me up as well as took the time to educate me without being snippy or outright rude like other folks I've experienced.

They actually do the real ombre/bayilage techniques too... Unlike so many other places (hello Groupon?!) that prey on the ignorance of their customers. Again, google exists, why do some bad stylists insult our intelligence like that?! So rude!!

This is the best salon I've ever been too... I've had three different stylists so far and each one was excellent!!
Highly recommend this place for sure!!

I arrived a bit early for my appointment, which was easy enough to make. I was warned previously that the balayage process which I got a Groupon for can take about 3 hours.

Roja greeted me promptly. I showed her photos I liked and she was all about it. She told me she would use my Groupon at the end.

She sat me down and took a photo of my hair. She playfully told me this is my "before" photo. She immediately started bleaching and foiling my hair. She explained to me that the hair will process and lift the color, so we need to see how much we can get it to lift to attain the look in the photo.

The salon is cute and professional. The ladies who worked looked to be friends and it felt like they had a community. Also the fed me tea and cake while my hair processed.

After bleach she washed my hair and asked to see my photo again that I liked before mixing the right toner.

She started getting really excited after washing the toner out. I asked her if she thought it would look like the photo "BETTER!" she confidently asserted. She seemed to be quite proud of her work, which at first had me worried.

I've been burned before by so many stylists that just didn't understand what I wanted or couldn't do it. So I was a little sceptical of her praising her own work. I mean, what if I didn't like it! How awkward would that be?

Unfortunately I didn't have to find out. Roja, spent almost 5 HOURS crafting me my DREAM HAIR. I almost cried. It looked fake it was so nice. Truely my hair has never looked better in my life and I lament that I didn't realize my hair could do this before my wedding last year!

She told me next time to not buy the Groupon and they would honor the same price. She took a few photos of her work and wasn't pushy about offering additional products. Tip in cash when you go.

Go to her for your balayage, you will not be dissatisfied. I can't speak to a haircut or anything else but she knows what she's doing. Her Instagram is @roja_hair_beauty check it out.

In Hair Galleria they made an amazing job! I am from Europe and it is such a pity they are in California because they are my favorite so far! She knows how to listen because she did exactly what I was asking for: Soft Balayage and cut shape with layers. No doubt I will come back when being in Cali.

Alice did an amazing job with my balayge and haircut. We had a misunderstanding and she was able to fix the problem right away. She is friendly and outgoing. She explained the process to me and got my hair to look healthy. I would totally recommend her and would be going back to her l.

I was feeling really yucky-- my hair was scraggly and my color was dull. I'm new to San Jose so I was kind of scared to try a new hair stylist since I've been with my previous stylist back home for many years . Anyway, I'm so happy that I found Hair Galleria. Alice did an AMAZING job with my cut and color. And not only is she great as a stylist, but she's also funny and personable; I laughed the entire time. Thank you Alice for making me feel beautiful again!

Lena is the BEST Artist Ever!! I travel for her services Anywhere she's at because well, she is simply THE BEST!! Hands down, the best customer service in CA!! She will do everything she can to give you the look You want, not try to do her thing on you like some do. I❤MyBrows!

N.B. does FABULOUS nails! She is truly an artist.
Make an appointment with her if she can ever squeeze you in. She does geat acrylic nails with gel overlay, and mine last 3 weeks. Plus her colors are always the latest available. You'll love the results! I'm moving out of the area, so I will miss N.B.'s talent!

Alice was amazing and so sweet. Loved my haircut and my highlights were done to perfection, something I've never been able to say! I cannot recommend this salon or Alice enough!!

Fariba is AMAZING! She's been taking care of my hair since 2015, though previously at another location. I would recommend her to anyone.

Hair Galleria Jafar an abstract artist goes to get his haircut I've known the owner of the establishment Jafar for over 30 years and he and I both look fantastic for 2 crazy guys when we get together that's why he always schedules me last cuz we make too much noise either way you women can get anything done but you can think of and that's salon except an attitude change love always Daniel James architect.

I got 10 mins late for my appointment and missed it!! Requested them to take me if they can..and waited for an hour but it was worth a wait..they are patient with the customers and give their best time! I love my cut...

I was the only client there, and both my stylist (Jeanette) and I were masked (except when she was trimming my beard). Seemed very low risk for Covid-19 infection.

Evalia is friendly and precise every time. :) The salon itself is spacious and neat. I'm coming here every time.

They had reasonable prices and Jeff was very knowledgeable and friendly, not to mention that he did an excellent job!
