Addison-Penzak JCC in Los Gatos

The JCC membership is so much more than just a place to exercise. It's a gathering place for community, family, and individuals alike where a sense of belonging and friendliness persist. I appreciate the amenities, spaciousness, and attention to cleanliness at the gym. This great atmosphere is something I would almost like to keep a secret, so others don't come and disrupt its special vibe.

Visiting the JCC has consistently proven to be a rewarding experience, as I have been exposed to new art exhibits, cultural celebrations, and unique community engagements that demonstrate its capabilities beyond gym facilities.

My kids and I joined APJCC about 2 weeks ago and are absolutely thrilled to be members. Carolina in membership was super amazing and had such patience with me while I asked a million questions regarding my kids and what they could do there. Since joining, my family and I have to say that the employees are always so nice and willing to help and the trainers (especially Melanie) are just spectacular! We absolutely love Melanie!
The facility and fitness center are always clean, well kept, and never overcrowded. Even during high traffic times, one can always find a machine outside. We have not tried swimming in the pool but I already have my daughter signed up for lessons. If the swim instructors are anything like the trainers, I know it will be a huge success!
Overall, this place is great and I highly recommend checking them out and meeting the fabulous folks there.

Wonderful Camps and activities with a very kind and welcoming community and staff

Manager Bill and Teacher Sandy Baker are amazing!! Extremely helpful and were willing to set up virtual classes for me when I broke my foot and could not exercise, drive, or get to the gym. Sandy is extremely knowledgeable, positive, and truly cares about her pilates students. Highly recommend coming to APJCC and taking a class with her!!

Amazing swim lessons for my two children. Well-trained and friendly staff, beautiful and clean facilities, and welcoming, up-beat atmosphere!

Nice facilities. Front doorman could be a little more friendly. Had to walk thru the building to get to the soccer field in the back.

Amazing facility with pool, gym, clubs and organized events

I have been an APJCC member for several years. I enjoy the programming and special events, and am a big fan of the Wellness Center. The Center has all the equipment and classes I want. The place is not crowded, and I am able to get on the equipment I want with no issues. The Center is clean and well maintained. I give high marks to the trainers, massage staff, and the recent locker room/shower upgrade.

SVJCC is great. State-of-the-art fitness center, sauna, steam. Great trainers. Friendly staff. Outdoor pool is great for laps because the water is pretty warm (83 degrees). Only issue is that sometimes the parking lot is crowded.

If you like low key workouts this is the place. Not too big. Not too many muscle men. The lockers are so clean and easy to use. Very nice showers and the saunas are the best.

I have been a member of the APJCC for many years, and it is our "second home". The preschool is incredible and the summer camp is my kids' favorite place to be every summer. Both are excellent because of the wonderful, caring staff and fantastic programming.

I work out at the gym almost every day as well and the trainers/instructors are helpful and fun. The equipment is state of the art.

In addition, the overall programming at the J is interesting, stimulating, and much of it is free or low cost for members. Some of my favorites: Jewbillee, the Jewish Music Festival, Reader's Theater, South Bay Teen Idol, and this year, Hannukkah on Ice.

I could go on and on!

There are many things to love about the JCC other than the outstanding fitness facilities, including after school classes for kids, adult classes and a truly outstanding preschool.

Because I have two children in elementary school, my favorite things are the family-friendly events: The Silicon Valley Jewish Music Festival, Float Nights during the summer, Jewbilee, holiday celebrations, etc.

The Summer Camp program is also excellent. My children have been attending for the last 5 years and though we sometime try other camps, this is by far their favorite and the one they want to spend most of their summer at.

We moved to Los Gatos from Montreal, Canada in 2006 and the SVJCC made our transition a pleasure. The facilities are excellent, the environment is welcoming and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Two of our children have attended the excellent preschool and we have another child starting in 2014.
It really has become our home away from home! I highly recommend becoming a member of this amazing community center.

I love the JCC and love the diverse atmosphere. I am worried that any feedback communicated to the JCC which is intended on helping them improve their offerings especially their summer camp is then redirected as criticism towards one's family. So, beware of providing your feedback or be ready to deal with the consequences such as them showing you the door out. I am hopeful that the JCC will adopt a more open stance so that families will feel welcome at the campus.

I love this place. It is bright, clean, airy, and has wonderful classes and instructors. Everything you want under one roof and with a friendly and courteous staff. What's not to love?

It's very clean, the outside gym is great, lots of distance between other members, friendly staff, nice members, great trainer. Lots of parking.

Great club. Lots of weights, machines, aerobic equipment and a big swimming pool. Staff is very friendly.

Great experience every time, very clean, lots of equipment, many different facilities and wonderful staff.

Impressive, immaculate facility with incredibly friendly staff. So many activities to chose from, and plenty of parking.

Great place, new equipment. Great service, including clean towels.
