Hampton Inn Vallejo

Located right by a Dutch Bros coffee shop and a 7-Eleven, this hotel is a wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, the attendants are friendly, room service is pleasant, it has an outdoor pool to swim in and a gym to workout at. They also serve breakfast at this hotel.

Staff is amazing and rooms are a very clean. But most of all I would really to give a shout out to Miss Debbie 😍 and her team in the cafeteria, there is never any shortage of food at breakfast time and everything is prepared perfectly not only is their professionalism above & beyond but it is a great way to start the day with such positive vibes I hope they stay a part of your team they are definitely an asset to your establishment.

We’ve stayed here many times in the last year. Chris at the front desk always takes great care of us! Debbie at breakfast in the morning is amazing as well and is just great with our kids. Looking forward to many more stays at this top notch property!

We originally booked a different hotel, but after reading reviews at said hotel we quickly cancelled. We picked Hampton because they allowed dogs and we are so glad we did. Perfect location for six flags which was our destination!
Clean rooms! Everything we needed and more. Tons of pillows, extra blankets easily upon request.
Beautiful, clean, relaxing outdoor heated pool and hot tub! Lots of towels available.
Kind, helpful staff. Nice included breakfast spread, with many options and everything stayed stocked.

After some less-than-great hotel stays in the last few years, I was hesitant about this booking; however, Hampton Inn Vallejo is certainly worthy of 5 stars, particularly for this price range. The location is super convenient, and there's even a Dutch Bros basically in the parking lot.
Upon arrival, I was greeting warmly by the evening front desk manager, Chris. The room was absolutely spotless, decorated nicely, and the amenities were perfect. (The first thing I check in regards to cleanliness is the base of the toilet... see attached photo.) The beds & pillows are super comfortable; the tub is deep enough for a comfortable bath; and the desk/closet/storage areas are great. The a.m. breakfast offers all you could want, as advertised, and they welcome any allergy issues upon request. The kitchen staff are super friendly, attentive, and helpful. They also have a great little "shop" next to the front desk with alcohol & non-alcohol drink options, some food items, and toiletries.
For digital nomads: I teach online zoom school classes. The wifi in the room is more than strong enough to have smooth zoom meetings.
If I have to put up any "cons" to this stay, it's the traffic noise on the highway side. Granted I'm not used to traffic noise, and I'm a very light sleeper; however, turning the ac/heat on during the night worked great to drown out the noise. The water is also super hot, so be aware of that. The only other "con," if you can even call it that, is that the cable is pretty basic. If you want to watch movies or stream anything, bring a roku or firestick or other such device.
Overall, the staff, accommodations, and surroundings are top notch. I'll definitely stay here the next time I'm in the area.

This is a great property. It is well cared for and maintained. The staff is friendly and inviting with many great recommendations for activities and area restaurants. The included breakfast has been fantastic every day of our stay and the staff that overlooks the dining area made us feel very welcomed and at home. We will definitely stay here again on our trips to Vallejo.

The hotel was extremely clean, breakfast was excellent, rooms were amazing and comfortable. The staff here, especially Gene and Debbie, went above and beyond our expectations to make sure our stay was as wonderful as possible.

The Kitchen Manager, Debbie Lee. She was awesome. Always cheerful, and ready to help, and the food was great! I especially like fresh fruit, omelets, and turkey sausage on the weekend. She assisted us with our set-up on Friday Night for our event. What I want to say is you have a "Gem" in Ms. Lee. If I could take her home with me, I would. She is deserving of some type of monetary award for her hard work and dedication to Hampton Inn. She should be recognized for what she does to keep the people happy when visiting your establishment.

I was absolutely shocked when I read that this hotel has only 2 stars. It is one of the best hotels I ever stayed in (and I stayed in lots of 4* and even 5* in my life). It is clean, staff is excellent, food offer is rich, it has a pool, it has a fitness room, it has working business furniture, dressing place, mini-fridge, microwave oven, coffee machine with coffee tablets dispensed, confy bedrooms, awesome large rooms and bathrooms provided with everything you need AC, mirrors, lots of lights, many treats at the reception...What else could you need? Moreover, the hotel has a large parking and is placed near Six Flags park, a fine attraction of Vallejo.
As for the noise from the freeway, we stayed at the first floor (view at the pool) but with the windows closed you hardly hear anything from the outside.
I warmly recommend this hotel!

This past weekend my family and I stayed at this hotel and I’ve got to say, it was very nice and clean. The customer service was outstanding. They were very respectful, courteous, and friendly. The room was great, very clean. The park is very close to Six Flags. We were even able to watch the firework show they had. Overall my experience was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Extraordinary surprising experience. Excellent location, extremely well kept property, very friendly staff and perfectly clean in all areas. Right next to Six Flags Park and minutes from Sonoma and Napa. This is a small hotel with Resort-like attitude and service.

Gene & his staff are to be commended for their outstanding work! So personable ! One granddaughter got sick right after check-in & they checked on her, made sure we had what we needed! Then checked on her the next morning. We all enjoyed the breakfast! So many things to choose between … eggs, meat, French toast sticks, muffins, breads, cereal, grits, oatmeal, fresh fruit mix, fresh whole fruits, even chocolate waffles!! or regular ones. The breakfast staff were so good to the girls, we really appreciated it!
43 F degrees outside & they were swimming or in the jacuzzi . Hotel is an $9 Uber ride from 6 Flags beats $40 parking at the park plus a mile walk from the parking lot!
The beds were much nicer than the 4 star hotel we are in now. Plus nicer staff! Just all around better, nicer. Thanks, Gene & staff!! Your new Alaskan friends!

Good location and room. Great value with 2 queen sized beds and a sofa bed. The free hot breakfast bar was a good touch as well. Quick access to freeways and the amusement park about 3 minutes down the road. Make sure to sign up for Hilton honors for the internet. It was quick enough to stream music and videos.

Great location - taking ferry to San Francisco for an evening ball game, returning late. Decided to overnight it in Vallejo rather than make a long drive when we're tired. Hotel is about 5 miles from ferry terminal. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I live in Vegas and this hotel has one of the comfiest floor. It's better than some Vegas hotel. Highly recommend it.

We chose this hotel due to location. Close to the hospital due to a family situation. Everyone was so gracious, helpful and a pleasure to talk to. I can't say enough about the gals at the front desk, "Gene" the GM, and the ladies in the breakfast room. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. I loved the bathroom amenities, shampoo, body wash, lotion. They even loved and spoiled our German Shepherd. They turned a tough situation into a relaxing stay.

Staff - quick, kind, smart, easy to work with
Rooms - clean, new, spot checked, better than I’ve ever seen at a Hilton property
Breakfast - best of all continentals! It’s a full on production for the amount of people they serve and what they do, they do it sooo well.
Amenities - pool area is completely new and kids loved it, fitness center is perfect for travel needs.

When I got there, the first room they checked me into was on the side of the street and it was very loud. I asked for another room in the upgraded me to a mini suite on the other side of the hotel. The room was so quiet. I slept very well. At first. I was a little bit concerned by the location based on the neighborhood, but the hotel location was very convenient to restaurants in the area.

We stayed at the hotel to attend an event on Mare Island, but it's also a great location to go to Discovery Kingdom.

The hotel was recently renovated and rooms are new, clean, and for the price point, done well. The staff was friendly.

There's plenty of parking which is also nice.

Had a really nice stay here. All of the staff were very friendly and pleasant. Complimentary breakfast was nice with make your own waffles. The location was convenient and affordable and about 25 minutes to Sonoma. Costco, safeway, and in n out are nearby so that’s nice. My only complaint is their policy for full room service now apparently is one per stay, so our room got pretty uncomfortable to stay in at some point. But still manageable. Other than that there’s a gym and a pool, everything was good.
