Ocean View Park

Wonderful park to take your pup. There is an off leash area and a lovely view of the river mouth and the quintessential Santa Cruz Boardwalk skyline. The play area is not huge, but the gorgeous neighborhood homes and the other polite dog owners make up for the limited space. On the weekends, we watch the beautiful and slow movements of the Tai Chi groups. Big plus are tidy public restrooms and the clean dog water bowl.

Always the best of time here at Ocean View Park! Dogs are welcome. Area for basketball. Restrooms are clean and people are always pleasant. Neighborhood parking. Locals are welcoming. Beautiful views. Clean. Picnicking is a plus here. I love to spend time relaxing here while my son plays. It’s very welcoming.

This hidden neighborhood gem has a beautiful view of the historic Boardwalk and Monterey Bay. Sited adjacent to Jessie Street Marsh, the park wraps around a housing development and offers a giant green belt, a large half basketball court, and a pretty large activity area for kids - complete with overly fast metal slides!

Great park, great view, many slides for the kids, there are bathrooms and a basketball ball court.

A wonderful clean park, with tons of slides. Small child equipment more challenging equipment for bigger kids.

I love that the park was within walking distance of the hotel I was staying at. I love the Sunset, Beach & Boardwalk views. It has a sundial there which was a nice spot to sit, relax & take pics. There was a lot of dogs there too.

You can walk to the harbor or to the boardwalk or both from here , great place to start the day.

They have CLEAN ,basketball court, bathrooms, big slides, trash cans, and great views.

I love the view from this place and you gotta allow your dogs to run free in the little park area there you could see the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk roller coaster from up then San Lorenzo river as well. If you walk along the street you'll see beautiful old Victorian houses and the flowers during Bloom in each yard are insanely beautiful

Great park. I went to this park as a kid and its fun to bring my kiddo here 35 years later. Big slides, multiple swings, lots of structures, dog park. basketball courts and a great bench for viewing the Boardwalk. Awesome end of the neighborhood park

Kids love the slides. Has a open field to take your dogs and 1 basketball half court. Has publis restroom and even a bowl of water for dogs. Nice view of the boardwalk too. Always enjoy visiting this park.

This place is a locals paradise! Very few tourists know about this secret spot. We like to hang out with our dog and go for a walk on the levee and to the Boardwalk. It is a very short stroll to get there. It is also an off leash dog park with basketball courts. The view if the Boardwalk is amazing! Sometimes we just grab lunch and sit at the benches and take in the beauty. Don't tell too many people!

this is slide city for the kids! I've never seen so many slides & the 5 & 1.5 year olds I was with absolutely loved it! There is a dog park section so keep in mind dogs off leashes make people anxious (including myself & working on it!)
