Sole Mio Ristorante Italiano

Seems like it's hard to find very good lasagne in the South Bay. This is one of the better ones I've tried. Sauce was too meaty and didn't have enough tomato, but otherwise it was very tasty. Yum.

Last week I was in San Jose for business. I heard about Mio Vicino in Santa Clara. I went and loved the food. While there I found out there was a second location in Saratoga. It was close to my hotel and I ended up going there the next night. Again, I was really happy with the food and the service.

This time I had the Strip Steak. It was great! Being from Texas originally I love steak. This one was right up there as one of the best I've ever had.

Another thing that really impressed me was what I noticed about the owner. He made it a point to talk to every person that came in. He was very personable and made people feel like family, like he had known them forever.

So glad to see this restaurant transformed into a place with friendly owners and delicious food. My litmus test is the bolognese sauce and they pass, flying colors. Previous visit, we tried their homemade ravioli and that was great too!

The host who moved here from Miami was very engaging and accommodating as we changed our order.. no weird attitude like previous owners.

We arrived with a large party of 13. We were seated with no problems. Service excellent, food wonderful! Nice selection of pastas and pizza. Parking behind building and several tables outside for AL fresco dining. Comfortable atmosphere.

The employees were so kind. The food was outstanding and the prices were phenomenal. The employees let us stay and enjoy our meal 1 hour after closing time. The entire restaurant and restroom area was very hygienic, clean, and well kept. Overall it was an amazing experience and will sure come back again!!!! 🙂

I really enjoy The meals tonight with my friends. The owners and staff is very attentive and quick on their feet. Overall everything was perfect and enjoyable. I rate them five stars. I highly recommended Sole Mio real Italian restaurant and everything is real.

We had Pizza and garlic bread. The garlic bread was very delicious.

We dropped in last night to try out the restaurant now that they have a new Chef and ownership. IT WAS FANTASTIC. Food - Service - Value for the price it was all unbelievably GREAT. They have it all including vegetarian and Gluten Free options.

Had lunch with my girls and my girlfriend on a Friday. The food was fantastic. I ordered the risotto with mushrooms. My girls ordered the margarita pizza and gnocchi. My girl friend ordered the fettuccini with chicken. All the dishes are very tasty. Authentic and friendly service. They substitute any italian sauce you want on the menu.

Fantastic daily specials, the best pizza, and fresh homemade pastas that are delicious! Everyone in my party loved their dishes. Very impressive new entrant to the Saratoga dining scene.

It is a very decent place for the price. Food is not fancy, but fresh and well prepared. The service is friendly. It is a good choice if you do not have a big budget, you get good value for the price.

The owner is very patient and kind. He seem to love serving his authentic food with pride and creates an environment of family and friends having a meal together.

Stoped here before a concert at mountain winery. Excellent food and wine. Will be coming back just to come here next time.
