Recently started traveling to San Jose for work. Ended up at a friend's salon and got one of the most expensive and worst haircuts of my life. Went to Frank de Barber Shop to see if someone could help me look at least decent without having to pay another arm and a leg. When I got there, Jordan aka Dr. J was just about to leave to go celebrate his birthday. I explained that the way my bank account is set up right now, it'd be hard for me to pay the full amount for a haircut, but whatever he could do for me for a bit less I'd really appreciate. He completely hooked it up. This is the haircut I SHOULD have got at the $120 salon. I definitely felt embarrassed to walk around without my hood on this morning, but now I'm glad I know where I'll be getting my hair cut for the foreseeable future.

Steve the man is the GOAT. Has been treating me right for years. Guy has plenty of story’s to share while lining you up just right. My man will make sure you leave feelin right. Good vibes and cool environment. Would recommend anyone.

Got a cut & beard trim from Steve. I've been cutting & trimming my own hair & beard for two years, and it was a mess when I walked in. I've had a lot of issues in the past with barbers messing up my beard, but Steve hit the nail on the head and was a great conversationalist. He was also very patient and helpful when it came to figuring out what I was looking for even though my haircut vocabulary is limited. Will definitely be back in a few weeks for another cut & trim.

I had a great experience with Stefan. He absolutely crushed the cut I asked for and I will be going back in a few weeks to get cleaned up again for my Wedding. Highly recommend.

I saw Jordan for a haircut and I'm super happy with the results. He was very professional and listened to exactly what I wanted .I showed him a few pics and he delivered. The shop is super cool and has a nice vibe to it .the owner Frank is super friendly and has a great team . I would highly suggest this place and especially Jordan hes awsome!:)

Stefan (I hope I am spelling that right), gave me a great cut! The shop is very welcoming and the atmosphere is friendly, ask for Stefan, he was great and is there Tuesdays and Thursdays!

I've been looking for a new barber to stick with and found this barbershop. I was welcomed in and got a chair right away. A barber named Isaac was great to talk to and he did a great job with my hair. I am completely satisfied with the job he did and will be coming back to him from now on.

Came across this barbershop during my stay in San Jose and they took me in easily as a walk-in. Very laid back staff and Frank knows his stuff explaining what all he’s doing to my hair and how he’ll be shaping it. Got this guy coming back from Hawai'i to come get his hair cut here again!

First time here. I took my Son to get a haircut , we loved it ! Mike took the time to listen to what my Son wanted and he delivered ! Great atmosphere. We will definitely be back !

Im visiting from Orlando, Florida (land of great Latin Barbers) and this was a risk. Glad I took it cause honestly, Minnie did a better job than my guy back home!

Gave me exactly what I asked for, the vibe was ol school and the music amped up that ol school ambience they had going. It's nostalgic takin you back to when you would go to the barber wit your dad. They do straight edge here as well. I gotta shout to the barber that edged me up stefan friendly guy he's been cuttin for a long time. It's hard findin a place that when they're done an you're home you don't have to fix anything 🙏

Excellent and lively barber shop. I have finally found a decent place in San Jose to get a hair cut. Much better than most places that just want you out he door ASAP!

I went in looking like I'd been in the Ozarks for months and had some ideas on what I wanted it to be. Jordan came up with a plan and executed very well.

Classic barbershop downtown; no frills but Mike cleaned me up proper. cut was $35 as is standard around here but it definitely felt worth it.

Located inside what appears to be a small business incubator building is this small barbershop. I was a walk in and was lucky enough to find an open chair. Got a great cut with some classy touches (straight razor clean up on the back of my neck).

Jordan was super cool and helpful - cleaned up my look in time for my job interview. Nailed it! 🤘
