BEST WESTERN Sonoma Valley Inn & Krug Event Center

My overall opinion of facility is one of definite appreciation. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I only had the opportunity to stay for one night but definitely like to stay there again. The hotel is a little older and all the rooms face out onto a balcony. Some have balconies themselves that face into the quadrangle. Despite the age of the facility, everything worked just as it was supposed to. There are plenty of towels in the rooms and the beds are extremely comfortable. They provide an extremely good breakfast even though it is simple fair. It is fresh and hot of the coffee is excellent. All of this is available in the lobby.

So my husband and I got the king bed with fireplace and balcony or patio. The room was very clean, and the bed was super comfy. The sliding door patio led us right out to the pool/hot tub/sauna. The location is within walking distance to downtown sonoma and across the street from a shopping center. The staff was welcoming. We highly recommend the Best Western!

Listen, you aren’t booking at the Ritz so don’t expect that. But if all you need is a clean room to lay your head at night, this is your place! Rating 5 stars for the stay doesn’t mean this is a 5 star hotel it means it’s 5 stars for what it’s advertising and meeting my expectations for that. The hospitality crew were so great! We enjoyed the nightly fire, hot tub and quick breakfast each morning. We basically slept and got ready here and it was perfect. It could use a little deep cleaning and maintenance (I didn’t see the remote for the heater unit and when I opened the control panel the cover to the filter fell off and the filter was really dirty) but nothing overly concerning! And our room was clean and bed made when we came back. We loved the location too! Really central to everything and easy to walk to various places.

Cheapest around Sonoma, so that’s why I booked a night here. The room had so many windows. Didn’t get to use the pool but it looked nice!

Really happy with our stay here. We stayed three nights and it was comfortable and quiet. There is a grocery store and CVS right across the road, and it is just a few minutes walk to the town centre. Breakfast is good and doesn't close early. Only real complaints: 1) It was very hot when we were there and the AC had trouble keeping up (it was also loud). 2) Would have preferred a proper coffee maker and a microwave in the room (the little mini keurig in the room didn't work, so we just went downstairs to the breakfast area. Did have a fridge). Would gladly stay again.

A great little gem just off the Sonoma square with a path going right to the square. Spacious rooms have a balcony and fireplace. Very clean. The lovely courtyard is heavily planted with a pool, hot tub and patio to enjoy your hot breakfast. Taking into account how affordable it is, I highly recommend this inn.

Great find in the heart of Sonoma. Clean, safe, easy. Walking distance to shops and some of the best restaurants you can find. Beautiful courtyard on the hotel's interior. Simple, easy breakfast. Coffee and cold and hot water are available all the time in the lobby. Will stay here again.

For the price, this place is more than fabulous! Loved the fireplace in the room, heater timer in the bathroom, and the beautiful courtyard. The fire pit and hot tub were enjoyable, and the breakfast was simple but great!

Hotel is in the middle of everything. It would have been nice if we could have checked in early but we had to wait until 4pm. No exceptions. We hung out in the courtyard. There's a Whole Foods across the street. The central courtyard of hotel is accessible from first floor room gaited individual patios. This courtyard has a pool, hot tub, steam room and a few water fountains. There are blooming flowers which scent the air. A few hummingbirds visited. Everyone tends to meet in the courtyard for breakfast so this was great for us because we were a larger group. I would stay again.

Went above and beyond what I would normally expect from a Best Western. Location is in easy walking distance from anything you might need, as well as downtown shopping. Rooms were spacious, clean, and cozy. I especially appreciated the fireplace after we did a late night hut tub excursion. Staff was friendly and helpful, and we really liked the in house specialty coffee drinks. If I had one complaint, it would be the continental breakfast being somewhat lackluster, but its perfectly fine if you are just looking for something to grab and go.

Excellent hotel, comfortable and spacious room, central location close to many restaurants, shops, art galleries and wine tasting cellars in Sonoma. There is a Whole Foods market right across the street. Overall, a very good experience. Highly recommended.

The hotel was perfect for our weekend in Sonoma. Very close to downtown, easy walking distance. The room was clean we and loved the fireplace! We were here during the off season, I could see how it could be very loud if you are there during peak season with a lot of bachelor/bachelorette parties. Since all of the rooms face the courtyard, anyone who may be out in the pool late will be heard in the room.

The location and price point of this hotel is ideal. And the staff was wonderful! They were friendly and helpful. The courtyard is a great area to sit and enjoy coffee, tea or a drink. I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was clean and comfortable. They are dated but they were clean and just what we needed.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times and it has always been amazing. Recently I had a family emergency that disrupted my trip and I have to say that the Manager, Kendall was truly amazing. It was the of the most refreshing feelings to know that while understanding she is running a business that she was also a human being. She not only got back to me in an amazing timely manner but truly worked with me to acheive the best outcome. I have worked in the hotel industry for over 10 years and can guarantee you do not always have such incredible customer service, and to know that as a General Manger she personally took time to help meant so much. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Come for the amazing location, rooms, and beautiful Sonoma, stay for the staff that goes above and beyond.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Nice breakfast. Some rooms with balconies and fireplaces. Great pool, hot tub and steam room. Also, an outdoor seating area for breakfast. Free laundry on the premises. Conveniently located to shops and restaurants.

What a wonderfully pleasant experience! The front desk staff was so accommodating and kind with every request ever made. The housekeeping staff constantly kept everything clean and tidy. The rooms were spacious and clean. With a group of friends sharing the space, we never felt crowded or cramped. There was a large variety of breakfast options each morning which was nice. The pool, hot tub and steam room were great amenities. My only complaint was that the pool closed very early (10pm). Looking forward to a future stay!

I was pleasantly surprised by this gem of a best western. They had Comfortable beds, large rooms (with a working fireplace), numerous outdoor amenities and a delicious breakfast. The outdoor amenities included a fountain, steam room, jacuzzi and pool. I plan to stay here again on my next visit to Sonoma!

Great location. Close to everything and the amenities are great. I did use the steam room as well as the hot tub. The rooms are clean but a bit dated. The staff was super nice and very helpful. Thank you for the great experience.
