This is a gem for people who need a good night's sleep. Even though there are only 3 RV camp sites, it's a beautiful place with lots of lavender bushes. Smells pretty. The park is huge and closes at dusk. I think across from the 3 spots you could probably park an rv if not too big and leave by 9am. Lots of health addicts doing runs, jogs, walks and some on skateboards. We drove all the way to the end and saw day use fishing and picnic tables. Use a national parks pass for free. Otherwise it's 12 bucks.

Great pull through for one night. Must be self contained. There is a gorgeous trail that will take you about 2.5 miles.

Beautiful quaint quiet piece of land. Love how relaxing this place is. Wasn’t busy & has restrooms along with a hiking trail.

Great place for hikes and long bike rides. There are no cars allowed on the paved path between the East and West gates, perfect for bike rides with kids. On the West side, drive until the end and go for a short hike to a rocky beach.

Beautiful walk with views of the straits and to contea costa north shore. Can be a relaxing slow walk or a more serious hike. We parked at the entrance and started the hike along the internal road, then climbed along the trail that circles the tall electric tower, real nice.

Great park to explore with incredible views of the Carquinez Strait (where Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers meet). Nice views of Mt. Diablo and the Carquinez bridge too.

I love this place. Been going since a young child. Went there twice last week only to realize that some man is living in the bushes of the covered trail right after you enter on the right. Cant see exactly where but he stumbles out, walks to the water faucet, drinks, fills up his jug. Uses the portable bathroom and goes back. Same thing both days i was there andcsame time 9:15 Doesnt feel to safe for a female by herself. So that sucks now. Hopefully he can find housing elsewhere with a solid roof. Soon. I wanna go back!!

The lady that works the gate is super nice and friendly. This place was a savior when my buddy was supposed to stay with me, but I got sick. He able to stay here in his trailer without a reservation (reservations not allowed, check in 4pm, check out 9 am).

This little park is a hidden gem. The shoreline trail has a lot of driftwood and sandstone. People have built many driftwood teepees. You can see the Carquinez bridges and Mt. Diablo. Salmon are caught here. Boulders fall down which make natural sculptures some families were grilling meat and having a great picnic. The park is close to 780 but is also quiet. Thumbs up to the Benicia residents for its cleanliness.

Not the biggest park but relatively clean has a couple nice beaches with views of Crockett and the carquinas bridge at the very end of the road with a relatively clean bathroom. Lots of tables and barbecues to use garbage cans all around.

If you’re feeling stressed, anxious or discouraged, finding the energy to get outdoors may be hard – but it could be one of the best things you could do to lift your mood, particularly during COVID-19. Look no further benicia state park is the best park in the neighborhood. Plenty parking in the park and on street.

Benicia State Park was an absolute delight for us. We had been traveling from Chicago to California and accidentally found this place for Enroute Camping. The space for our RV was perfect and Rachel the Park Ranger was so helpful and friendly. This location is a hidden jewel for peace and quiet.

Very peaceful and beautiful park with paved trails all the way through and breathtaking views of the strait. It’s definitely a trail for all levels and ages with very minimal hills. There is an amazing view of the Alfred Zampa Memorial Bridge at the end.

Well my daughter is in Kumon, Karate, and Jujitsu, we bring our dog Godzilla out for a walk in the trails and he absolutely loves it by the time we get home this dog will sleep for the rest of the evening and until it's time to go to bed obviously he sleeps in my bed.

Beautiful place to get some fresh air. There are a few trails for hiking and riding bikes on the west side of the park near glen cove. The trails are fairly flat and feature less but loads of great views of the carquinez strait. Great spot for beginner off road cyclists. It's a big hit with fisherman as well.

Awesome place. Watch out for the coyotes. Don't start none. Won't be none. Leave them be and they'll do the same.
