Butterflies Academy

My son has been attending this preschool since he was two years old. Initially, he couldn't speak English and didn't know how to interact with friends, but he has grown significantly.
The advantage of this preschool is that it allows children to socialize with friends of various age groups.

The teachers are all attentive, kind, and engage the children in diverse activities, which is why our son always enjoyed going to Butterflies academy. Even though we had to drive for a long time in the opposite direction of our first son's school, we didn't consider relocating him.

I believe this preschool is operated with a comfortable and warm atmosphere while maintaining a well-structured system.
I highly recommend it.

Butterflies academy is amazing. My son joined their program when he was 2.5 years old and he really enjoys his time being at school. Teachers are very supportive and caring. We moved to Sunnyvale recently and still continue to send our child to Butterflies because my child likes it so much!

My son joined Butterflies Academy last year when we moved from Virginia. I was very anxious to send him to a new preschool as he was already going through changes with the move. My husband and I visited couple schools around and when we met with Ms. Fahrinaz, from this first meeting I felt that this was the school I wanted my son to be in. When Ms. Fahrinaz explained us what they do, what their focuses are, I was able to see her passion and love for the kids. From the first day, my son loved being at the Butterflies Academy. He had an amazing year having fun, feeling loved and belonged, making friends, learning a lot, doing arts, yoga, music, story times, exercises, and many more activities. I cannot thank the teachers and the amazing staff enough for the wonderful, warm, very inclusive environment. He has been so fortunate to have been part of the Butterflies’ family ❤He has been so excited to be there everyday and we are so happy to see and feel that. He is now transitioning to Kindergarten and we will deeply miss the wonderful Butterflies Academy family ❤❤

Butterflies Academy is a hidden gem nestled in Saratoga. I was very anxious when I started touring schools since my son had been home with me for 3 years. My husband and I toured several schools before selecting Butterflies Academy. Farinaz gave us a warm welcome and was so knowledgeable, kind, patient and answered all our questions. For the first time, I didn't feel anxious about sending our son to school. I felt excited for him to learn, explore, make new friends and felt a huge sense of relief knowing he would be in good hands.

We enrolled our second child much sooner than expected (2 years old), because she really wanted to go to school like her big brother! I am continuously impressed by the level of love, care and commitment given to our children by the incredible staff. Our children have blossomed while attending this school and it's very heartwarming to watch. The monthly curriculum is thoughtfully planned out and there are wonderful activities incorporated into the program (yoga, sports, etc).

There is diversity amongst the families which I find incredibly valuable. They celebrate all holidays and cultural traditions which is wonderful and all inclusive. They also emphasize and teach the importance of empathy, respect and independence.

We love our little Butterflies community and are forever grateful for the seeds planted that will continue to grow!

My daughter has been going to Butterflies for a year and a half and loves it there. She has developed a lot of skills from the carefully curated curriculum and classes they have for the little ones. There is a family like environment where Ms. Naz who runs the school knows every kid and their likes/dislikes in detail. She brings treats for them, plays with them along with other teachers, and even organizes field trips. The teachers are all very patient and nice too. You cannot get a better daycare in the Saratoga area that offers so much at such a competitive pricing.

We love Butterflies! Ms Naz and the teachers are supportive and caring about the kids. And the program is well designed with so much fun for the kids to explore. They have art, music, yoga and sports enrichment courses every week and my kid loves them.

My child experienced the language barrier when he started the program since we only speak our mother tongue at home. And the teachers were patient and positive to encourage my child to pick up English. I am glad to witness that my kid made not only language progress but also a lot friends since then.

He is happy to learn and play at Butterflies. And that’s all I expected for a satisfied preschool program.

I could not have asked for a better school for my 3 year old son. Butterflies Academy was recommended to me by 2 other moms. I didn't start my son here at first because it is a bit further from our home than we were comfortable with. He went to another preschool for about 9 months and we were never truly happy with it.

In our search for a second school, we toured at least 10 schools. Finally we went to visit Butterflies and it blew me away. The teachers are wonderful, the curriculum is top notch (they have art, music, sports, science), and the school is extremely clean and organized. The owner really puts love and care into making this the best school possible. My son has adjusted to the new environment quickly! He loves the toys there and feels comfortable with all the teachers. He even naps without a struggle!

I highly recommend Butterflies for anyone looking for a nurturing, caring, clean, and fun preschool!

if you are looking for a preschool who cares about your kids and help them grow with love, Butterflies Academy is your destination! My 4yo daughter is going to this school for the past 6 months. She cannot be happier when she goes to school and when she returns home. Staff are very friendly and professional. They have open floor plan with cozy green playground. They have lots of activities for the kids including art, yoga and sports. During current pandemic, I feel safe to send my daughter to this school as they are in compliance with CDC regulations and Child Care Licensing. Thanks Naz and other staff for such a great homey program.

We are so happy we found Butterflies! My daughter loved it so much that we switched from a 2-day to 5-day program within just a couple weeks. The kids have a wonderful mix of structured and unstructured activities with lots of play and chances to interact. The staff is wonderful about encouraging the older kids to help the younger kids, which my daughter loves. She comes home telling me new things she's learned every day. It's a great program!

We're so happy to have found Butterflies Academy. They've been so accommodating and nurturing to my daughter who started there at exactly 2 years old. I knew it would take some time for my daughter to adjust to being away from home, and it was so reassuring to know that the staff at Butterflies would patiently and lovingly help her with the difficult transition. Miss Farinaz and all of her staff provide excellent care and I always feel like I know what is going on at school because she always keeps me in the loop. The classroom itself is kept very open, clean, and organized. I would recommend Butterflies to any parent looking for a well-rounded, nurturing environment.

Basically, if you want the same, wonderful care you give your child, send her/him to Butterflies. The teachers are amazingly caring and the children are all so happy to be there. My child transitioned quickly within days of being a crier, to happily trotting off to school. Extremely good tuition rates for all that this school does for the kids- music, yoga, lots of playtime, art, snacks, even on occasion bouncy houses! It’s like every day is a celebration of learning. The director is highly responsive to any needs or concerns. This is a great preschool!

Butterflies Academy is a very international welcoming preschool. My daughter started in September and she is very happy to go and learn there. We don't speak English at home, but in a few months, I can see how she already learned a lot. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. The classroom is nice with natural light, it is spacious and clean. There is a lot of activities for the kids to play and learn with. The mix age group is interesting because kids learn a lot by looking to others.

After searching for a long time for a childcare center/preschool we felt comfortable with we chose Butterflies Academy. Miss Farinaz is friendly, warm and caring. She is not only a great teacher but an awesome mentor for all us parents. Positive discipline has made us a more understanding and better parents. All of the staff is very patient, knowledgeable and great at what they do. The premises is clean and well organized. We feel grateful to know our 2.5 year old daughter is in a place where she is care for, encouraged to learn, taught independence, and gets to socialize with so many kids who are from all kinds of backgrounds.

Our son started here at two years old. Within weeks we noticed he was learning and growing so much! He always comes home with new words in his vocabulary and nothing but great things to say about his teachers and friends. He has been there almost a year now and it was the best decision we could have made! We will be sending our second son there as soon as he turns too as well. We love the attention the teachers give the kids. We also love that the kids have water play in the summer months and a sports coach in the spring and fall. This preschool goes above and beyond, making sure the kids have fun and educational activities. The parent involvement is also amazing, we get a weekly schedule, daily report and daily photos. If you are looking for a preschool I highly recommend!!

I absolutely love Butterflies Academy and have been recommending them to friends. We were in a pinch as we had no school over the summer while their regular pre-school/daycare was on recess. Butterflies Academy had openings so we took both our kids there. They loved the facility, which was very big and clean. The teachers are absolutely wonderful and caring. My kids were excited to go every morning this summer. If we lived closer, I would continue to send our kids here.

Finding a preschool/childcare center I could trust where I could leave my 2.5 year old son, was a long and difficult journey. That’s when we found Butterflies Academy - not only is the care and nurturing for the children excellent, but the weekly schedules and curriculum are educational, as well as fun. My son loves coming here everyday, and looks forward to learning new things. I’m so glad we found Butterflies Academy!

We had an exceptional experience with Butterflies Academy for our 2.5 year old. The director, Mrs Naz, is so hands on, focused and dedicated. The teachers are similarly dedicated, caring and super diligent. My 2.5 year old had a nanny until this summer when we enrolled him. He had a difficult time transitioning into preschool, but Butterflies truly was patient with him and now he just loves it there. There is so much I love about it but here are four differentiating factors:

1- the space is insanely clean. No shoes by anyone allowed indoors. They take that very seriously. They also have reasonable covid procedures in place.

2- the program is play-based and verrryyy rich. The kids have a very vigorous schedule and itinerary each week— that varies enough to stay interesting but maintains a level of familiarly to help encourage routine. They had PE, Yoga, Music, Art, and Science. This summer there were also lot of bounce houses and water play. Lots of birthdays too.

3- teachers! Again, like I said, they are so committed! Most are professional educators who really know the ina and outs of child development.

4- community and engagement— the school does an amaizng job keeping in touch with parents. We get something like 15-20 photos and short clips a day showing us what the kids were up to. When I get the message, I legit get butterflies from the anticipated joy I get from seeing my son being active and engaged. The parents are all on one thread and comments and questions are welcome.

It would have been so helpful if someone had recommended this school to me. So now here I am hoping that by posting this review I’m helping another parent in search for an exceptional
program.

We feel so grateful that we could find butterflies! Our two boys had an excellent time there! Even after graduating from school, they still love having play dates with their butterflies friends and always miss their butterflies teachers. Thanks to all the teachers taking such good care of them, we have seen my sons growing from shy little caterpillars to happy and sunny butterflies. We especially wanted to thank Ms. Naz and Ms. Ruth Ann for their leadership in guiding and nourishing our sons. We are forever indebted.

My daughter started butterflies academy couple weeks ago and she just loves going to school. She wakes up in the morning on school days and is always excited and ready to head out the door. It’s been just couple weeks and I already see how independent she became. I’m so glad we found butterflies academy, the teachers are great and very welcoming. I strongly recommend it.

Butterflies Academy was the last preschool my 4 yr old son and I visited after looking at 8 other schools in the area. The first time I walked through the doors I felt such a welcoming ambience and my son immediately said - I choose this school, Mummy! Miss Farinaz is an amazing teacher, a warm and wonderful person and thinks outside the box to ensure the kids are always excited to learn through play. She is superb with the kids and take care of them like her own. My son totally adores her. She makes being in school fun, interesting and exciting as the kids get to do a lot of hands on projects. My son loves going to school, has learnt so much since he began in February this year and it is all because Miss Farinaz is such an engaging person. She makes Butterflies Academy such a wonderful and fun place to be that he wants to go to school everyday. My son is very happy so that makes me a very happy mum indeed. I totally recommend Butterflies Academy to all the mums considering preschool for their kids. We simply love this preschool and I am so thankful we found Butterflies Academy!
