Another Bike Shop

Santa Cruz County has no shortage of really great local bike shops I've had the pleasure of buying and servicing from over the years. When I finally found ABS, they really resonated with me. From the selection, to the wealth of knowledge, and endless help, from the entire staff, sales, service techs, and the owners themselves. My experiences have been exemplary, and keep me coming back. And my riding has incrementally improved on the trails thanks to them. When I think "shop local", this is what I love in a local business.

My wife and I traveled from Texas to Santa Cruz to buy my bike. It was a dream of mine. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Throughout the process we were guided to get exactly what I needed. Huge shoutout to Dylan for helping me choose the bike that was perfect for me. Grateful is an understatement. I’m reppen ABS here in Texas! There’s just something special about a team that gets excited for you when you get the perfect bike. I’ll be ordering all kinds of items from these guys. Customer for life.

My partner and I just picked our e-bikes up today and had a very pleasant experience. My woman is new to biking and I have many years of experience. The costumer service was amazing, julie was the rep that helped us out. She was very helpful informative and encouraging.

I'm a frequent visitor to Santa Cruz and have the good fortune to be able to use a friend's bikes while he is out of town for an extended period. Though well-versed in maintenance and repair, I don't travel with tools to deal with anything other than routine drive-train and tire issues. I have stopped in at ABS several times to pick up supplies and parts (pedals, shoes, pump, etc.) and for help with repairs. Noticed the other day that the travel of the brake levers on the gravel bike was excessive, to the point that the rear brake was useless. Dropped the bike off late afternoon to get the brakes bled, the bike was ready by noon the next day! The folks at ABS are friendly, competent, and fast. No need for me to go anywhere else for my cycling needs!

Best bike shop in Santa Cruz, maybe in all of Cali!! I was able to snag one of the first 2022 Juliana Roubions via pre order from the only Santa Cruz Bicycles dealer in Santa Cruz!! Staff was awesome and helped me dial in my bike just right!! This bike is amazing and I loved my first ride on it this weekend at Snow Summit!! I meant to ask you guys if you sell the Juliana Quincy's as well?? I'm going to need that bike next!! Get you next bike from this rad shop!!

Best LBS in Monterey Bay. Service team, floor sales, other local dirtbag bikers, it's the place for all things two wheeled and off road. Living in Monterey, it's a shame I have to drive that far to service my SC, but I don't trust anyone else.

First class service and mechanics who always fix problems with perfection. I have been a patron for over 20 years and I have top end e-bikes, Santa Cruz and Specialized. Best bike shop on either side of the hill.

A new bike is a big purchase and I would absolutely recommend ABS. This is a locally owned family business and all of the employees are passionate mountain bikers. I received a ton of really good honest advice and feedback when purchasing my new bike. Their service department is also amazing, super knowledgeable and honest people. Please give this shop a try…you won’t be disappointed!

Awesome place to get your bike fix. Costumer service was great from start to finish, and they had time and got my bike fix the same day!!! Definitely this will be my go to shop whenever my bike needs a repair..

ABS is always there for me when I need it! Conor and the rest of the guys in the shop are incredibly knowledgeable, incredibly talented, and incredibly easy to work with. Because I ride a lot, but know nothing about bikes, I am the reason they will always have a job :-)

The fact that they do terrific work only bolsters their job security. it’s nice to walk into a place and know that you’re going to be taken care of, not made to feel like a fool, and be riding again sooner than you could ever imagine. I have been to a lot of bike shops in town, and ABS is top notch!

Great bike shop. Very helpful. Julia helped with my online order and made sure my bike was ready to go when I picked it up. Drive over 3 hours to get it. Well worth it

Amazing place. The amount of merch and bikes is exemplary. The location is great and parking isn’t any problem at all. I came in at 10:05, 5 minutes after they opened and immediately helped me with a bike problem that stopped out MTB road-trip completely. They stopped what they were doing and helped me immediately. They even had the shifter that I needed. I was taken care of in 20 minutes total. Top service is how loyalty is created. This would be my go-to bike ship if I lived here.
