This place was very adorable. My definition of what a Mexican bed and breakfast should look like. The owners are sweet, helpful, accomodating and engaging. The rooms are cozy and tidy. Good for couples or families. Pet friendly, even for my anxious, 30 lb mutt.
Breakfast was delicious along with good conversation and coffee.

Our first time in Santa Cruz, will definitelly come back in the summertime and stay here again!

Amazing. The family that runs this place are incredibly accommodating. They share wonderful stories. The room are beautiful and romantic (unfortunately I was flying solo). The boardwalk is close for moonlit beach walks or fun and games. There are many eating spots. And the lady cooks a mean breakfast. What I think the best part is...is the compassion and wisdom they offer without bias or prejudice. Yep. That about does it. I will alway come here when I am in town.

This is one of the most unique B&Bs ever. It's furnished with an amazing collection of antiques. There's fabulous art everywhere, from the owner and others. (As of April '21 the property is for sale so a lot of the art and eclectic touches have been removed.) Breakfast was so very yummy, and plentiful to hold you all day. All the folks who work here are super sweet and friendly. The Lighthouse room doesn't have any chest of drawers, just a clothes rack. Maybe some other rooms have more storage. I saw a clawfoot tub in the Bayside room. The resident macaw makes her presence known in the mornings, but if you're on the East side of the house it's probably not so loud. 2 blocks from the Boardwalk!!! Totally worth the price. Will definitely stay here again, someday.

Clean, Cousy, delicious breakfast, Maria and Pete are amazing hostess! This Bed and Breakfast is 2 blocks from the boardwalk, downtown Santa Cruz, Hommy, is a trip to 1900, we stayed in the French Room, all furniture from the era, Cousy place! Come and love the experience! Thank you Maria, we enjoyed every minute there

looking forward to stay here again and many more, very friendly, breakfast, was just as good. Keep us satisfied all morning, the room had a very rustic look which we liked. Felt like I was at my grandma house... our new hotel, we're stay every time we come to SC... 😚

We love the Boca Del Cielo. It's close to the beach and Tico, the guard McCaw, is the coolest. I really enjoy the breakfast and always look forward to the fresh tortillas.

Amazing people and amazing location! Free parking, free homemade breakfast and dog friendly. The backyard is big and perfect for a drink with their giant parrot!

We were looking for a weekend getaway with our toddler, and had a wonderful time. Pete & Maria were charming hosts, and our room had that quaint Santa Cruz Victorian charm (without sacrificing cleanliness), plus a few USB outlets. We took the Lighthouse room, and the queen & king bed arrangement allowed us to put our daughter to bed safely and hang out downstairs. Breakfast was delicious and fully prepared us for a busy day at the beach down the block. Hoping for a chance to stay here again once the boardwalk opens.

Whenever I go back to Santa Cruz, I will definitely stay here! Great hosts, amazing location, and the best breakfast! Fresh homemade tortillas and chilaquiles!

Wondeful place to stay in. Mari and her husband are very welcoming they make you feel home and most important they make you feel safe. I can't wait to go back. Thank you so much for the hospitality and the delicious breakfast.

Such a beautiful homely bed and breakfast. Breakfast is delicious and the owners are so friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful time staying here. Would definitely recommend.

Ohhh my goodness! Did I luck out or what? OK, full disclosure, I have stayed multiple times in Santa Cruz and after my last visit, about 2 or 3 years ago, I promised myself I would be reading the reviews first! Okay...

I read up on Boca Del Cielo, and I was impressed with the reviews. It was to be a single stay for me, a few days to blow off some steam and relax with zero family with me..at the last minute my wife said I had to take the dog and my daughter. I had no issues with that. the issue I had, was I had no idea if they would take pets...boy o boy, was I wrong! They not only took my little Kenjinator, they showed so much love on his little doggy heart! He was in Doggy Cruz Heaven...

The rooms were quite small, and very homey, the amenities were wonderful! The daily morning breakfast WAS OUTSTANDING!!!!! Hot, fresh eggs, freshly cut potatoes, diced and seasoned. Awesome yogurt and fresh fruit. FRESH coffee, with various sweeteners.

They had around 10 tables scattered around outside on patios. There was large wooden front table, I worked on my my computer with free wifi. I loved the bird, and the two cute doggies. Kenji, my dog loved them too.

Peter and Maria, Jonas and Isabella, were awesome hosts/ests. They made us feel special. Peter collects flags from every country that visits, and of course Philippines and USA were shown, and Mexico was #1. I met a few folks at the breakfast table and they were wonderful guests.

I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this wonderful establishment. Don't expect the Ritz, expect the Taj Mahal!!! The accommodations and hospitality will make you feel like a King and Queen....

Absolutely wonderful experience! Super friendly hosts with beautiful and clean accommodations and short walk to the water, boardwalk, shops, and restaurants. Very pet friendly, 100% would stay here again!

Family run Inn, breakfast included, very friendly and knowledgeable. They make you feel part of the family. amazing little BnB right near the beach. A hidden gem!

We love coming back here every year when we come to Sandra Cruz. The place is charming, the people are so friendly, and the breakfast is amazing. We love this place!
