VCA Devotion Animal Hospital

5 plus stars in my book! I live out of the area and my puppy was injured while under anothers care. My pup was brought to Devotional and was seen by Dr. Goetze, DVM. Dr. Goetze, nurse and the Devotional staff I've spoke with are very compassionate and experienced at addressing my concerns. We have had 1 follow up and 2 more to go -- scheduling has worked around my 3 hour round trip drive. I love that the phone is always answered by a person and hold time is momentary. I have called a number of times with questions and Dr. Goetze always returns my calls. I have gone to vets in the Bay Area for at least 40 years and never felt as comfortable or confident that my pup is being cared for by the best.

The best veterinarians ! So very thorough, patient and kind.
They all take the time to explain things and truly care about the animals.

I wish I were visiting these folks under different circumstances, as it seems every visit is insanely expensive even with my "good guy" discount!
I am grateful in the end, as everyone seems to have a great deal of empathy and concern for our pets, which in my case is my almost 15 year old Border Collie "BooBoo"..

This is the place to go for the best pet care possible! My wife and I had 3 cats, our oldest Harley is my pfp and VCA helped us care for him in the last of his 18 years and make them the best they could possibly be. When Harley man decided it was time to head on they were more than accommodating to get us in the same day so Harley could have a peaceful transition. It was the hardest thing we’ve ever had to do but VCA was incredible and we will keep bringing our 2 other nerds back so they too can live as long and as healthy as possible. Thank you VCA from the bottom of our hearts you all rock!!

I couldn't ask for a better vet. We are new in town, and I wanted to make sure my cats were all set up with a vet. Yes, new patient checkups sometimes may be pushed out a bit, but it's absolutely worth any wait. The Nurses, techs, front desk folks and the Vets themselves are all so kind and sweet and *genuinely* care about your pets. It's wonderful that they actually take the time to listen to you and work with you for treatment plans. Truly, I'm thankful to have such wonderful people making my babies feel so safe.

I cannot recommend these vets enough! They have always gone above and beyond when providing care for my family's pets. My cat especially, after receiving preventative care from this team is now as active and happy as she was as a kitten. Every time I have worked with them the staff has been thorough in explaining each treatment option, the success rate, the cost, and the reason for suggesting it. They are extremely responsive to emails and phone calls. Their waiting room was always calm and clean when it was open. Their covid response has been extremely customer friendly, with very clear signage in the parking spaces on how to proceed. Your pet will be in great hands with this team, I can guarantee you that!

Dr. Barros is caring, knowledgeable and the BEST all around vet. Hes exceptionally considerate of what is the best for the animal.

Dr. Denney is absolutely outstanding! My pup started acting funny and whimpering, so we took him in to get checked out. We didn’t have an appointment and they were able to fit us into their busy schedule. Dr. Denney was incredibly thorough and went over all the test results and findings from her assessment. In the past I always felt so rushed with my pups’ appointments but she really took the time to make sure I understood everything. I completely trust her and am so happy we found her! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you!!

Wonderful, caring staff. Saw my dog on an emergency basis when my regular vet was unavailable. Dr Barros is amazing, so kind and reassuring in a scary situation. His knowledge and expertise are impressive. Certainly one of the best animal hospitals in the area, most highly recommended.

We started taking our animals here about 3 years ago. The entire staff is knowledgeable, compassionate and friendly. We had to have our 13 year old lab euthanized recently and they were so kind and helped us through the process from diagnosis to cremation .

The staff is so friendly and the care they have shown our pets over the years is outstanding, been using this vet for years and years. If you are on a budget they will help, their care for the pets is just amazing!

The entire staff is very caring and loving towards your pets. I have loved the way they handle my dogs, because they treat them like old friends!

I have had many experiences over 40 years with Veterinarians. Very terrible and sad.So far under heatbreaking times this last year...I Can't complain about their services.I will continue to take my kitty's there.Thank you staff.
