California Indian Museum & Cultural Center

Really cool collection of baskets, my favorite part though was the text in the exhibition! Often really through provoking. And I walked away wanting to try to make acorn bread :) recommend calling or writing ahead of time as you do need to let them know in advance if you’re coming by.

A beautiful exhibit that shows such rich history along with some honest truths. I highly recommend checking it out and take your time reading over everything to truly soak it in.

I participated as one of their display tables in an event they hosted. I know the majority of people who work here, very very sweet people. So kind and nice. I had such a great time at their event that I didn't get a chance to do a walk through of their exhibits but I have no doubt that it would have been just as enjoyable!!

Enjoy this beautiful environment and the wonderful memories of all the most special,people on earth in time we will regain strength and obtain stability that forms a support system that provides a way. Here was a,picture of my great great great grandparent and her father.

Very well presented. Every American should see and experience this museum to appreciate the American Indian and their reality as well as what was unjustly done to them by the early white settlers.

The museum is fantastic. Very informative. A must see when in Santa Rosa.

This is a must see for anyone with an interest in California Native American history. It not only captures history of the tribes in the Santa Rosa area, but also those of the central California area which I write about and the Chumash and Serrano tribes down in southern California.

It's a great museum, and it even has a store with amazing stuff. Very family friendly, and great staff.

You really do need 1.5-2 hours here! Beautifully presented engaging exhibits.

Hidden treasure! Students learned local history and got to make baskets!

Fascinating exhibits, there is so much to know about native history that is glossed over in school. I left wanting to know more.
