The Grind Cafe

By far the best tasting and welcoming restaurant I've experienced. The bagel was soft and ingredients top notch. Not only was Tiffany very welcoming the place and establishment felt warm and full of love. I personally, was having a challenging morning and just being in this home type environment turned my day around.

My fiancee and I had the sausage and bacon bagel that was savory, delicious and a morning meal that was made with alot of love. Truly enjoyed the experience and the awesome and great food we ordered it reminded me of home cooking.

The owners are amazing and super friendly, my favorite coffee is the lavender white mocha and I just had the BEST breakfast sandwich, egg, cheese and bacon on a croissant with garlic butter. It was SO good.

Recently stopped by The Grind in Vallejo and was blown away by the exceptional service and delicious food! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our visit truly enjoyable. I opted for their sandwich, and it was absolutely fantastic - fresh bread and flavorful ingredients made for a perfect bite. My colleague thoroughly enjoyed their breakfast burrito as well. With such a positive experience, I can't wait to return and try more of their menu offerings. If you're in Vallejo, don't miss out on The Grind - you won't be disappointed!

The atmosphere was comforting, while eating my Hot link sandwich. It arrived hot and freshly prepared with a touch of supreme taste!! I would reccomend people try the hot link sandwich!

I stopped in for a quick cup of coffee and was pleasantly surprised to see that it was Black owned. Ignore the outside appearance, the inside has an old school cozy vibe to it and they provide exceptional service. If I lived the area this would probably be my go to.

Absolutely AMAZING. A little pricey but definitely worth it... So delicious.

I checked this place out on a Saturday mid morning. The line was starting to get long and there was a little wait. We got two breakfast burritos. The super which was delicious and the bacon burrito but that one they unfortunately forgot to add the egg so it was not filling. I’m sure if we had eaten there they would have given us a new egg and bacon burrito but since it’s take-out only, that chance wasn’t there. We’re still happy with the taste of the super burrito and will definitely be coming back to check other items on their menu. Service was top notch. Glad they’re in Vallejo and that it’s a black owned business.

I had a medium white mocha, an extra pump of white, decaf with almond milk 😋 and a sausage breakfast burrito... with plenty of smiles on a hectic morning 🙂. You remember that old school customer service?? You'll get that here!

First time customer here 👋 I ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on an English muffin & added garlic butter to it, it was really good and tasted fresh. The horchata iced coffee is delicious too! I’ll definitely check this place out again.

Excellent hospitality!.. Had their breakfast egge bacon with Americanco and was impressed! Staff was exceptional.

I had the lavender latte (or was it the lavender white mocha), I’m not sure it’s the only hot lavender drink on the menu and it was delicious!

Great atmosphere! I love the decor and welcoming atmosphere. The coffee is amazing and the aroma of coffee is in the air. I appreciate the variety of roast and flavors as well as scrumptious side choices of croissants, and other eats.

I recently started working at a new dental office around the corner from “The Grind Cafe”, and I didn’t notice it’s corner location until a week after, but I tried it out and ordered a caramel macchiato hot drink to start my day, and can I just say, WAY better than a Starbucks coffee any day.
I’ve also had lunch their and ordered the BLT, it was amazing! Definitely a go to place for breakfast and lunch!!!

I was looking for a last minute coffee the morning before I had to drive back south. Found this local coffee shop and was so so grateful. Truly delicious coffee. We order bagels to go and they had put the cream cheese on them as well as pre cut them, which made it so much easier to get in the car and quickly eat you bagel and drink your coffee. Locally black owned coffee shop, 100% recommend.

Picked up my order after ordering through Doordash. Items were ready on time. Coffee was amazing! Croissant was also good. Only draw back was parking. Ugh.. I had to park around the corner. I bought a latte with oat milk and sugar free vanilla + extra shot. I will not be getting another extra shot because the coffee is real!

An awesome & amazing space for a refreshing drink. We purchased the frozen green apple lemonade, and it was delicious!

The best coffee I’ve had in so long!! Barista was so nice and sweet! Such a lovely person! My bf and I got 2 vegan burritos, lavender white mocha latte and a pumpkin spice latte! The burritos were so good and very big burrito for the price - we could not finish it so we can’t wait to eat it later today. Very affordable coffee, even with the oat milk upcharge! Definitely coming here again before we leave 😍
