As a long time lapsed library-goer, I can’t express just how wonderful it felt to enter the Sonoma Valley Library for the first time. The very pleasant librarians greeted me and my daughter as we entered, the children’s section is incredibly welcoming, and all the superfluous stuff we have to deal with (masks, hand sanitation, distancing) are incorporated without ruining the “library” experience.

I spent my youthful summers at the library daily, and I’m so happy that my children can have the same type of experience I did.

10/10; will absolutely be back to check out more books. Also, just FYI for those of us familiar with the sting of late fees because you love a book too much to give back just now, renewals are easy, and late fees aren’t a thing anymore (still return your books!!)

First of all the staff are friendly and patience with you if you have any questions.2nd,atmosphere for relaxing and doing your work and studying is great and got alots of window view of outside.NOT like other library that i go to.feels depressing,but this library is great!.

Starting to use the library again… no more book buying … what fun.

I was just passing by and wanted to pick in. The library was closed, but it seems to be nice and spacious inside. I need to explore more, so far - here are the pictures :)

Well they were closed already so my friends and I enjoyed the outside seating and used the free Wi-Fi. Also used the pump at the outside bicycle repair station.

Sonoma Library is wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful You can get almost any book, video, book on tape or reference material here. If it's not at the library you can always order it from another library and when it arrives you will be notified. I love this library. And now it is in a beautiful new building!

Great library. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the peaceful environment allows you to get back in touch with all things intellect. If they don't have it, they'll get it for you and call you when it arrives. We are so lucky to have access to this in our little town.

This is a wonderful library that has lots to offer..with a caring, considerate and helpful staff.so glad they're open to the public again...they kept things moving along even during the pandemic

Very helpful and friendly people. Library is almost back to normal operation. Hours are still shorter, and they are requesting unvaccinated persons to wear masks inside.

I truly enjoy this library. It an enjoyable place to browse the book stacks, and to fine a comfortable seat to read in.

Great little library with a lot of great resources and friendly helpful staff.

I love this place they have free coffee and hot drinks and the people are so helpful they have a new way to check out books and it makes it so fast!!
