Lots of parking, easy access, a sheltered, heated outdoor eating venue in addition to the original indoor dining area. Friendly, personable owners and staff.

We went here for the first time on my birthday! And I'm impressed I love their food from the appetizers the wine and dinner, desserts, staffed are wonderful. Will definitely come back again. I had the best linguine carbonara with prosciutto, my husband had the Gnocchi with gorgonzola cheese they're both to die for. Bread pudding and mango panacotta are so heavenly delicious. I found my Italian restaurant close to home😍🙌👏❤

Had a wonderful dinner here. It was pretty busy but the wait staff was very attentive and helpful and thoughtful. Definitely recommended!

Cafe Giostra is not to be missed! Fabulous, delicious Italian cuisine served by a delightful, courteous staff. The entrees were spectacular, and the Teramisu we shared for dessert was second-to-none. The owner treated us a complimentary glass of Port at the completion of the meal. Bravo Caffe Giostra! We will definitely be back...

We had a large group of 8 for a birthday party, and everything was exceptional! From the bruschetta and caprese apps, to the fish and pasta entrees, to the homemade desserts, everything was delicious and far exceeded our expectations. To top it off, every single member of the wait staff, as well as the chef who came to check on us, who personable, kind and made our evening a night to remember. We will all definitely be back!

Caffe Giostra is the best restaurant in Petaluma. This is the calamari Dore dish that is always satisfying . This is the closest you will ever get to abalone. Absolutely delicious!!

My experience here was from a few years ago, an east coast client, Reinhard, was in town and suggested we meet here. It was my first time here. There was a huge crowd outside waiting to be seated, and I was initially worried because we did not sign in anywhere, how do they keep track of guests? Very shortly someone handed me a wonderful glass of red wine, and everything after that was great (though slightly blurry)! I am vegetarian and did well, it might be hard to eat here if vegan though.

This is the best Italian food I have found in Petaluma. You will love it. It is not large and if you are planning to come for dinner you will need a reservation. Lunch time is less busy and I have not been turned away. The daily specials are fantastic.

Call them 25 minutes before closing to see if we could get a seating in 10 minutes. They squeeze us in. Dinner was fantastic and, service was very good. My partner had the veal salt and Boca, I had the ribeye steak, we split a romaine salad, and we had a couple of desserts and everything was very very good. Very good. Even their straight espresso was done excellently, too often espressos are thin and bitter, and this was thick and rich

Fine Italian restaurant with an extraordinary staff. Atmosphere, food, service - it was all phenomenal! We all had 3 different meals and each was delicious and would definitely recommend.

An amazing experience! We had a large group and their service was fast and so kind to our kids! The food was excellent and the best lagasana we ever tasted. My 7 year old said we needed to get the recipe! Absolutely loved it!

Excellent food and great service every time. Make reservations if possible, it gets busy. Locals with reservations will just blow past you in line with little regard for others. Long list of specials. Outdoor tents set up in the parking lot. The bruschetta is a must-have.
